The oldest lighthouse still in use in the Netherlands

Today, we enjoyed the last bright sunlight of 2020 on a morning walk in Ockenburg.

The sky was very clear, but there was a haze of mist between the trees making for some awesome views.

We were crossing it by train and saw the people swimming there, reminding us of when we went swimming right around the city center.

We really really were up for a dive into that cold water.

It is clear the poppy season in The Hague is in full swing.

Now apart from the obvious places likes parks and the sides of the roads, I saw some very neat new places they popped (ha!) up.
