This light house has been lighting up the coastal waters near Monterey California for well over 150 years. Point Pinos Lighthouse is the oldest lighthouse on the West Coast. It has been in operation
since February 1, 1855. The US Coast Guard operates the light. The City of Pacific Grove runs
the lighthouse as a museum open to the public.
I remember the day that I was so frustrated because did not have a small change in my pocket to make important emergency phone call. even most of the time we had carried extra quarters in our pockets in case of make calls.
They did not remove the some old pay phones on purposely in subways because intention of preserving them as museum piece for the new generations.
Once the mist had lifted we made a stop at the end of Loch Beannacharan. Initially very flat, the light briefly improved with some patchy sunlight on the background mountains adding some decent contrast.

once you've been (and we stayed just across from Dante's statue), Florence becomes a part of your imagination and dream life. We've been 3 times to this magical city.
At the base of Petrin hill in Prague Olbram Zoubek's sculpture "Never more Communism" or something in that style I have forgotten the exact name.
My daughter and my son if you find him are in between the figures.
Olbram Zoubek (except from us) has never received big applause for this work, it's bit creepy I have to admit and not all Czech are happy with new system 10% would prefer that capitalism never arrived.
Trike Harley-Davidson. Of course I like more than the usual two-wheeled bikes, but we must also think about those who are already difficult to cope with such a technique. I remembered the movie "Sons of Anarchy": father - of red traveled on a three-wheeled bike. And our Putin, once came to the meeting with bikers in Sevastopol on this Trike Harley-Davidson.
once known as a blue grouse...which has been broken into two categories dusky and sooty.....such odd birds with little fear of humans, he was anywhere from 4 to 12 feet away while I was photographing him.....good thing they are well camoflauged from predators...the males on the lek are absolutely beautiful birds....

An old American Elm tree stood here for more than forty years. Well, we bid her farewell today. She stood tall and proud. She was showing signs aging and ant infestation. This proud Elm tree will now supply some family with comfort and heat this Winter. After considerable cleanup I decided to keep the tree stump to serve as a stand to display a fresh colorful potted plant. She will still have usefulness in her new role. Once she supplied shade for many a hot Summer day and blocked the cold Westerly winds of Northeastern Pa. Our property has many trees and I respect every one of them. Thank you for viewing my work. Time to wash my hands🙏’s. Stay safe and be kind.
Referred to as living fossils, they are the only living genus of a class of plants over 100 million years old, which formed Paleozoic forests so predominant in coal. They reproduce by spores and once established are very difficult to eradicate. A fascinating plant.
