Another storm today filled the air with salt spray.

Greece is considered the cradle of Western civilization, being the birthplace of democracy, Western philosophy, Western literature, historiography, political science, major scientific and mathematical principles, theatre and the Olympic Games.

This hotel was located just south of the Acropolis, a 15 minute drive to the center of Athens.

A little Church conversion i've been working on this week.. Had this in mind for a while and nearly finished.

 

Everything in the pic is included, apart from the cute rockers. They're from "What Next" :) I'm doing this in two styles: this and a halloween/gothic/tim burtonesque version also.

Sunday, Day 16, October 2, one day after 700 people from Occupy Wall Street were arrested on the Brooklyn Bridge, and the residents of Zuccotti Park continue their lives, keeping Wall Street barricaded to pedestrians, tourists and businessmen.

The Caryatids at the Erechtheum on the Acropolis of Athens are copies, as the five remaining originals are in the Acropolis Museum for their protection, conservation, and restoration.
