It starts with me wanting to take a picture of the whole tree but then I can't help it. There's always a leaf at the end of the branch that dangles and waves at me. It wants me to see it's shape against the sky.
The penultimate October day - sunny hours. There are still flowering plants and small butterflies enjoying the flower nectar. Lang's short-tailed blue or common zebra blue (Leptotes pirithous). Late October, pleasant autumn.
A beautiful October morning at Dysart beach but not a particularly happy one. We will be attending a funeral service for a sweet lady in her seventies who has become yet another victim of the curse that is cancer. She wasn't someone we knew particularly well but we liked her.
