What a surprise!
This is the first time that these specific succulent plants flowers.
From my garden and planted in a pot.
And what a beautiful flower it is! Its quite large, about the size of my hand.
Using the Tamron SP AF 60mm f/2 Di II MACRO 1:1 LD (IF) (model G005N II) lens.

Ein Morgen im Oktober
So schön kann der Herbst sein. Der Nebel lichtet sich in der Morgensonne. Aufgenommen in der Nähe von Sprockhövel.
Drunk on the red, yellow and gold hues of Autumn, we willingly follow the October sun. No one else could lure us so willingly into winter.

I planted several different varieties of Morning Glories this year and they have produced almost no flowers, sadly. But this morning as I walked by I let out a loud 'YAY' when I saw this beauty gracing the sidewalk!
This is the 3rd purple flower I've seen, the other 10 were the classic white and blue.
This is my last post for a few days since I am traveling again to see my elderly parents and to help them through some life transitions...
