This image shows Jupiter about 10 min after exit when a hole appeared in the clouds. This image was captured in 830 nm infrared which is gray scale and then converted to blue to match my eyes view of the event with a silvery Moon and Jupiter in a blue background. To my eye this is close to my view. This image was captured with a 120 mm Takahshi refractor, a Nikon Z6II modified for 830 cutoff infrared, a Televue Powermate 2X. Processed with Photoshop from a single image.

A composite shot of the occultation of Mars by the Moon in the early hours of 8th December 2022. This image transposes shots of Moon and Mars taken with a Celestron Edge HD11 scope a few hours before the occultation. The images are placed on top of the actual shot to provide a more detailed luminance layer (I couldn't use the main scope for the occultation as a tree blocked the view from my observatory!)

A few seconds after Mars emerged from occultation by the Moon. Captured in Tucson AZ with a Questar telescope, 1.5 X Questar barlow and a Nikon Z7II. Processed from raw with Photoshop. Ever present haze in Tucson degrading seeing, the air visibly rippling as seen in the telescope.
A place visited by Apollo, and a place yet to visit in the future.

Taken with the 14" Celestron in the observatory at Cerritos College with a ZWO ASI224MC camera. The three images show the progress of the occultation at 2022-12-08 02:29:20 UT, 02:30:00 UT, and 02:30:13 UT. A small subset of frames were extracted from a longer SER file for each image, then those frames were stacked in AutoStakkert and sharpened in PixInsight. A light touch with Topaz Denoise and some final processing in Photoshop to assemble the three images aligned on Mars.
CM longitude on Mars at the time of the transit was 203°. The dark crater slight below Mars is Riccioli, with the north portion of Grimalidi to the right.
On the early morning of the 31st, the apparent approach of the Moon and Mars was observed, which hid the red planet for a little over an hour. The sequence taken from 4:31 to 5:42 UTC shows this encounter above the skies of Bogota Colombia

This is the occultation of Mars by the Full Moon on December 7, 2022, in a composite showing the motion of Mars relative to the Moon. The motion here is from left to right. However, while this composite makes it look like Mars was doing the moving, it was really the Moon that was passing in front of Mars. But for this sequence I set the telescope mount to track the Moon at its rate of motion against the background stars and Mars, to keep the Moon more or less stationary on the frame while Mars and the background sky passed behind it.
Mars was at opposition this night and so was the Moon, so the Moon was full and Mars was at its brightest for this appearance in 2022. The size of the Martian disk was 17 arc seconds across this night and its magnitude was -1.8. Mars is twice the actual size of the Moon, but appears tiny here due to its greater distance — some 206 times farther away than the Moon. This night, the Moon was 397,000 kilometres away, near is apogee point, while Mars was 82 million kilometres away, a week after its closest approach.
This is a blend of 40 exposures (20 pre-ingress at left and 20 post-egress at right) that each contained the Moon and Mars. The Moon image here is a single exposure taken at the end of the sequence when the sky was clearest. However, for many of the images, especially pre-ingress, the Moon and Mars were in light cloud and haze, adding the glow around the Moon. The sky is from a blend of all the images.
I shot images at one per minute, but used only every second frame here, so the images are two minutes apart, taken over 40 minutes on ether side of ingress and egress.
Each is a unique image subject to varying seeing conditions blurring some of the Mars disks more than others. This is not a composite made of the same "best" Mars image copied and pasted along what its path should have been. Even so, I still had to adjust the alignment somewhat for each image, as the field still drifted out over several minutes of tracking, requiring me to recenter the field occasionally during the shoot, and to manually align images in Photoshop.
Exposures varied with the cloud cover but were from 1/200 to 1/40 sec, all with the Canon R5 camera at ISO 400 and on the Astro-Physics 130EDT refractor with a 2x Barlow for an effective focal length of 1560mm at f/12. I've processed the image for high contrast on the lunar disk (using a Subject mask in Camera Raw) to emphasize its lunar seas and bright ray structures, such as from the crater Tycho at bottom, a relatively recent impact. I also brought out the sky colours from the clouds for added effect.

I just finished a new novel on just this.
In Old Norse, seiðr (sometimes anglicized as seidhr, seidh, seidr, seithr, seith, or seid) was a type of magic practiced in Norse society during the Late Scandinavian Iron Age. The practice of seiðr is believed to be a form of magic relating to both the telling and shaping of the future. Connected with Norse religion, its origins are largely unknown, although it became gradually eroded following the Christianization of Scandinavia. Accounts of seiðr later made it into sagas and other literary sources, while further evidence has been unearthed by archaeologists. Various scholars have debated the nature of seiðr, some arguing that it was shamanic in context, involving visionary journeys by its practitioners.
Seiðr practitioners were of both sexes, although females are more widely attested,[citation needed] with such sorceresses being variously known as vǫlur, seiðkonur and vísendakona. There were also accounts of male practitioners, known as seiðmenn, but in practising magic they brought a social taboo, known as ergi, on to themselves, and were sometimes persecuted as a result.[citation needed] In many cases these magical practitioners would have had assistants to aid them in their rituals.
In pre-Christian Norse mythology, seiðr was associated with both the god Oðinn, a deity who was simultaneously responsible for war, poetry and sorcery, and the goddess Freyja, a member of the Vanir who was believed to have taught the practice to the Æsir.[ wikipedia

A reconstruction of what I saw watching the event with the telescope. The telescope was set so the Moon filled most of the illuminated view so only minutes of time was available to catch Mars with the Moon entry and exit.
The occultation occurred minutes after the Moon cleared the Catalina Mountains in Tucson AZ, and then at the exit the Moon was nicely higher in the sky for a better view.
