With this work I have been experimenting with the processes of Mari Mahr, using object on top of photographs to tell a personal narrative related to feelings and memories, finding ways of connecting the past to the present.

INFANTRY - Musketeers
Members of the Sealed Knott (Civil War) re-enactment association @ Elvaston Castle, Derbyshire. The Parliament Army.
A Musketeer was a foot soldier, carrying a musket, either flintlock or matchlock. Across his chest he wore a bandolier of little wooden bottles containing enough gunpowder in each for one shot. These were known as the "twelve apostles" from their usual number.
