Vol 1 of objects, represents the stereo types of objects (e.g food tea cups, clothing etc). I put it in black and white because even if it has no colour (vice versa) you can still see where it's from. As much as I hate stereo types, they are still there and being labeled on people of that nationality/place/country.
This piece is representing England because it is a tea mug/cup.

5-6 mm silver metal object (a washer perhaps?) that I found in the garden and left on the garden table for a few days. I eventually decided to try a macro shot of it. This is the original, from this I assembled two collages that I posted here as well.

My first drawing for the semester was to take an object (in this case 2 objects) that represents myself and draw them in any medium; The "Object Self-Portrait"
I chose Sasha (my sewing machine) and my personalized Caps jersey.
I love how this piece came out. Since last Spring, I've found a new love for coloured pencils, and I really got to show it in this drawing. I was kinda pissed when my prof. said she wasn't grading it. >:T

The object is placed in the foreground to give the illusion of scale and proportion compared to its surroundings. The Objects scale makes it appear large and placed well in the centre of the picture, whilst the man looks miniature, and appears to be sitting in the shoe. The DOF is wide, the light is large and harsh 3/4 side
