My oldest possession, not sure of exact age although there is a printed date of 1798. A gift to my great, great grandfather in 1846, sadly both covers have become detached. See my first comment below for the records written inside.

A crested serpent eagle in Kaeng Krachan National Park.

Wikipedia: The crested serpent eagle (Spilornis cheela) is a medium-sized bird of prey that is found in forested habitats across tropical Asia. Within its widespread range across the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia and East Asia, there are considerable variations and some authorities prefer to treat several of its subspecies as completely separate species.

The crested serpent eagle is a reptile eater which hunts over forests, often close to wet grassland, for snakes and lizards. It has also been observed to prey on birds, amphibians, mammals, fishes, termites and large earthworms.

Conservation status: Least Concern

The dive display of the Anna's Hummingbird lasts about 12 seconds, and the male may fly to a height of 40 m (131 feet) during the display. He starts by hovering two to four meters (6-13 feet) in front of the display object (hummingbird or person), and then climbs in a wavering fashion straight up. He plummets in a near-vertical dive from the top of the climb and ends with an explosive squeak within half a meter of the display object. He then makes a circular arc back to the point where he began. On sunny days the dives are oriented so that the sun is reflected from the iridescent throat and crown directly at the object of the dive.

Still Photography an excellent way to combine the need to stay at home, as these troubled times demand, and to keep the pleasure of photographing

In memory of our beautiful grey and white bearded collie Bonnie. So wilful, naughty and such fun.Amazing to have found this ornament that so resembles her.

Bel Air Trilogy by Walter de Maria (2000-2011)Stainless Steel , Chevrolet Bel Air 1955

A solo by Walter De María: three identical Chevrolet cars from the 1950s occupy the entire space. Meticulously restored and brilliantly painted in red and beige, they are considered by the artist as objects for intervention. In this way, from the windshield to the rear window, passing through the interior and over the seats, a stainless steel metal bar crosses them. Each of these bars is geometrically different (circular, triangular and square), these primary shapes being a constant in De María's work.

The object of art is not to reproduce reality, but to create a reality of the same intensity.

Something different...a pvc figure of Sub-Zero ninja from the Mortal Kombat games. I remember when I used to play this game with my children, many many years ago.

In the beginning, the seed of the tree was just a small and inconspicuous object, hidden away in the soil. However, with time, it started to grow roots, pushing its way deeper into the earth, seeking nourishment and stability. Slowly but steadily, it began to sprout, breaking through the surface of the soil and reaching towards the sky.

As the tree grew taller and wider, it became a vital part of its ecosystem, providing shelter and food for various creatures. It survived through harsh weather conditions, enduring the scorching heat of the sun and the biting cold of winter.

Now, as we see it surrounded by dense fog, the tree appears like a wonder from another world, as if it has emerged from a mythical forest of dreams. The rays of the sun filter through the mist, casting the tree in a hazy glow, making it seem otherworldly and surreal.

The tree's silhouette appears ghostly, with some parts highlighted with a brighter and clearer intensity while others are shrouded in darkness and obscurity. This contrast between the light and shadows enhances the tree's magnificence and mystery.

This was just made to replace the older award called Objects Award for Elite Artists Artistic Creation Arts Group, made this version into art style and VIVID colors mixing.

There will be one more new one coming later on that will go with real photo's better for that group since it has mixing of art and photo's, it will be more like something i did for World of Artistic and Photography Artists where the award goes to both real and artistic.
