Nestled among the twisting roots & branches of a murky bayou, a crooked shack lurks. Home of the mysterious & beautiful soothsayer with uncanny abilities, M’me Scylla de L’eau. Those who seek her favour must offer a trade, for all things come with a price. M’me de L’eau wears many curios & trinkets including a skeleton key that unlocks any lock including those of the mind, a nautilus shell that holds an alluring voice & a bottle containing a strange silvery elixir.

I came across this puzzling object floating in a partially frozen pond in the hills. It had me scratching my head for a minute but then I realized that it was a reflector from a bicycle.

My trusty tripod which has served me for over 30 years. I have replaced the leg braces, various nuts and bolts and the head which originally was a pan and tilt type.

These are some of my favorite types of things to image in the night sky... reflection nebula. This is a normal-color RGB image that came from about an hour of red, green, and blue, combined normally in mono channels in PixInsight. The main object is Messier Object 78 (M 78) and it's in the constellation of Orion.

I have taken a picture of these strange objects a few years ago. They are fascinating. It is called Glass Vessels by Christine Borland
A collection of green objects from around my studio.
