It's over processed I know, but I still really like it!

Not the best HDR... was handheld and over processed... Sorry!
From the Iberville Museum in Plaquemine, Louisiana. Please visit this great museum if you are ever in the area! See the link below for the museum's location :)
This looks a bit like HDR or over-processed and it's not. I only bumped up the sat and contrast a tad, which I do with all of my shots to get them more like what I saw in person. I think the effect here is because the edges of these blooms really are dark and they fade to white toward the center of the blossom.
I shot this set at Hamilton Gardens in Hiawassee, Georgia, a true hidden gem. The gardens are gorgeous and it only costs $3 to get in. I'll definitely go back!
Ridiculously over processed... ever seen green skies? Well, in the vicinity of a church, anything is possible ;)

I came across these heads mounted on a wall behind a fence while walking around Cologne in August. It was early evening, so the lighting wasn't great, and the camera didn't do a great job, so the picture has been (over-) processed somewhat in an attempt to bring out its best side!
#Raphadramatic snaps from the Leicester Forest Cycling Club's annual road race in September 2014.
Please don't pinch my pictures. If you'd like to use them, then let me know. I probably won't charge, but it's nice to be nice, right?
My main Flickr stream, that has less pictures of men in lycra, is here: www.flickr.com/photos/placid_casual/
Maybe a tad over-processed. Sky too bright?
Update: I actually softened up the sky a bit, but still left it bright enough so that it had a bit of kick left. ;)
The City Hall complex on the left was, if memory serves me correctly, a source of controversy once it was built. Some thought it was a sight to make for sore eyes. However, the mayor has been around for decades. She was voted one of the best mayors in the world. Can't really argue with that, can you?
Was driving the California coast line from Ventura, CA to Santa Cruz, CA on Highway 1. Had to pull over for this, the HDR didn't turn out as I'd hoped (it was an afterthought, but it's something I would eventually like to learn to do well). But it's still nice, It's not as over processed as it looks. Those clouds were just strange.
An abstract i created by over processing a lens burst shot of some leaves that was inspired by fireworks
Is it just me, or is this funny?
I was at a birthday party, shooting a few shots, then looked out the window and saw these guys...it was a quick shot.
I'm entirely bummed. I'm trying to find my original copy of this image because this one is terribly over-processed/sharpened. However, I've been looking for ~2 days and haven't been able to find it in my archive/library. I'm sure it's around somewhere; the archive is just not organized very well. Yet.
This is my cousin sarah who asked me to shoot some senior pictures for her.
I have never done it before so this is my first attempt with the help of my photo friend Vicky Bennett.
In post processing I did a bit of touching up. They may look a little over processed but this is my first crack at this.
ENJOY!
I've very quickly tired of over-processed HDR images and am now attempting to bring my images back to reality whilst still maintaining a slight hyperrealistic element to them. I will geotag this series once I pin-point exactly where I took the shots.
After the first attempt they were looking a bit over processed so I had a play about to get it slightly better looking.
This extra rich hydrating conditioner mends dry, over-processed hair. For best results, pair with our Color Command Shampoo.
The Mercury transit was clouded out for Brighton (UK) apart from a brief ~3 minute. Here is my over-processed attempt - with clouds!
Telescope is a Coronado SolarMax 40 with a Canon 1100D DSLR camera.
Sometimes you just need to stop and edit no further. I just need to keep repeating that to avoid a situation like this again. There aer parts of this that I really liked but the picture in whole is not to my liking.
A happy couple. The female is in front with the male behind. The light wasn't so good here so a bit over-processed to improve the image.
WAY over-processed, but that's kinda what I wanted to do. The sky wasn't this insane but it was incredible.
I especially liked the lonely star hanging out in between the clouds.
Having some fun with software invariably results in a different look. Post Processing for that Post Apocalyptic look. Well, maybe. What do you think?
