……A little over done perhaps - the edit not the Burgers I hasten to add! OK, so I did over-do the sliders a tiny bit - but only because I was asked too!!! The theme for ’Smile on Saturday’ is "over-processed portrait" that makes us smile. The poor innocent butcher doing the cooking was at Mazey Day in Penzance when we were there on holiday in Cornwall - they were of course ā€˜done to a turn’ and looked delicious. So it’s have a HS😊S from me.…. Alan:-) - if you prefer something a little less tinkered with see the 1st comment box.....

Over-processed image emphasizing the grim weather conditions on a photo charter with locomotive 70013, Oliver Cromwell on the Great Central Railway.

Loved the color of this artichoke when I bought it, a real investment $2.99 for one.

Still recovering from the flu, had a fever yesterday of 103.9, finally broke this morning, yay! Working on my Photoshop skills today, hopefully I haven't over-processed but I wanted a really artsy and dramatic feel.

Severe, 1-1 crop. I over-processed to compensate.

Happy Slider Sunday - An American Robin Portrait processed, or should I say over-processed with Topaz Detail

I was sitting in my backyard last night pondering this latest lockdown in southern CA. On a positive note, these mandates have given me many days of finding my inner creativity. Number one on my bucket list is to witness the Aurora Borealis in person. So I thought, I can make the northern lights come to me in my imagination. I know, quite a bit of over processing, but a little bit of happiness is so good for the soul, especially right now. Happy Holidays to all of my wonderful Flickr friends and I hope this season sparks your imagination and gets those creative juices flowing!

Happy SoS. Over-processed is NOT in my vocabulary!!!

Much like the notorious prison of the same name, these buildings in downtown Folsom,NM. are prisoners to a lost era....

Another poor quality Kodak print scanned and over-processed to make it presentable. HSS Everyone!

for Sliders Sunday.

over processed Brown Eyed Susans

My Ruffy... doing one of her favorite things. Sniffing! LOL. Here she's on the patio, with some of the fallen leaves. Her "sniffer" has been working overtime.

Happy Sliders Sunday everyone! Where we can over-process to our hearts content. :-)

Hope you enjoy it.

for looking close on friday, theme Fruits (over-processed picture)

the bases

macro of dried banana and strawberry, edited with 3 other photos.

These were over tithe house the other day, now edited.

For "Smile on Saturday" group theme; " Over processed". HSoS!

Overprocessed self-portrait for Smile on Saturday! Smile! Started with a not-bad self-portrait. Blurred the background (an abstract oil painting) and then overlaid a metal texture from Sharkpixel and then overlaid a bokeh overlay of my own. It has been a really great thing to learn how easy (and fun) it is to make my own textures and overlays, and then also to learn how easy (and fun) it is to play around in Photoshop adding them as layers.

'a' is for 'abused' ;)

Revisiting an earlier photo, where the objective was realism. Wasn't too bad, but it's not what I usually do - here the objective is extremism a.k.a. over-processing :) )) )))

over-processed clouds.

The sky looked nice so I had to stop and snap yet another neighbourhood 'landscape'. Took 3, one with each lens (camera) with the different focal lengths:

This is the wideangle, pretty wide (13mm equivalent) and possibly best for landscapes. My standard over-processing ;) ))

This is a re-edit of a shot in my archives. The previous shot I had over processed and it didn't look realistic. I like this version better.

This is one of my favourite vintage signs in all of Australia. Located in Ouyen, Victoria.

Dan Andrews, Victorian Premier, will go down in history for his phrase "back on the beers" Here is my over-processed take on this idea. A new eating/drinking area on Southbank with a Corona Beer ( found at the Botanic Gardens) with a bit of texture and blur.

Over processed

Fruit image over processed.

Over processed for Sunday Sliders. I just love bright colours.

Yours truly, under the influence of Topaz Studio 2, a great, but sadly now discontinued, utility with a storehouse of effects just begging to be overused.

Over-processed by adding a lot of contrast. The colors have not been changed, they were original from the camera.

Smile on Saturday: "Over-processed Clouds"

Weather in the central valley of California has been typical for the season. Hot (37-38C or 98-103F) with nothing but blue skys. So I had to go into my Lightroom catalog for the last time we did clouds.

Need to click and increase the image size to see the rest of the processing.

I like it better before it was over-processed.

Two rolls of developed Fujifilm colour negatives on top of my light box. A tough challenge and this was intentionally (over) processed to saturate the colours.
