Many of my works - like this one - are produced entirely digitally. I sometimes re-use older works as art elements and also drawing objects - usually rectangles. These are combined together using Serif PagePlus X3.
Next I mesh warp the image and finally photographically over process the image with Paint Shop Pro.
Truth is simple. Truth is profound. Truth should be lived daily.

As for the over-processing, I was aiming for the look of the old tin types. Not sure I achieved that, but I like my finished product anyway.
manipulated air around an over processed tree gives me a unique look in the call of greenality.
it is always a pleasure to kermit these things.

Great Sunday!!! Slept in, laid out at the pool, did some laundry, went to dinner with friends. So restful!
Here are two over-processed, slightly blurry and over-exposed hula-hoop shots posted to back up my big mouth.
I know I've thoroughly convinced the neighbors I've lost my mind now......you just don't see too many 40+ year-old women hula-hooping in their backyard anymore.
I pulled this one out of the archives the other night. While seemingly over-processed, I was going for a Hayao Miyazaki feel and think I got pretty close to the goal. To me, Miyazaki is a place where water color, vibrant colors and Japanese art collide to create a dreamy and relaxed feeling.
To view in stereo, sit 2-3 feet from the monitor and gently cross your eyes so that the two images become three. The one in the middle will be in 3d. If you are finding this difficult, you may be trying too hard. Viewing the original size is best.
My first attempt at an HDR image. This one was purposely over processed... I suppose just to see the limits of photo realism vs. a full blown hand painted look.

Please, View On Black
About a year ago, I posted a very over processed (first attempts) caricature of this work. Before I flushed it from the archives, I wanted to give it a chance as a simple Black and White.
I've just been toying with over-processing some of my photos. This is from the 2014 California Mille.
Austin Healey 100M
This is another of those that caught Matt's eye first but he couldn't take the shot.
It's a little over-processed so you can see them. I was on the opposite bank of the river and my camera only has 4 megapixels,, so it was a stretch to get it at all.
I'm having a crazy week full of deadlines, so I'll probably have to catch up with most everyone's images on Monday night.
This is a little metal candle holder that is very rusty. I liked this shot, but it really needed something, so I thought it was a good candidate to just play with.
Taken in Agadir, Morocco.
The shot has come out a bit 'muddy' like it isn't very clear, I'm not sure why this has happened. So I over processed it to match the mood.
Nikon D7000
Nikon 18-200mm VR
Went down to Dun Laoghaire pier yesterday with some friends. This is the only shot that came out anywhere near decent and I'm not sure I that I haven't over-processed it.
About 2 hours after this was taken I wrenched something in my leg and have been laid up on the sofa since.
storm and stress my friends.
After seeing Rob's latest moody b+w image, it put me in the mood to convert one of my old IR images to b+w again, no over-processing on this one, just a high contrast b+w conversion.

My birthday is tomorrow. Every year since I got my first camera I've taken a self-portrait the day before my birthday. This is not it, but it was part of a shoot I did this afternoon. The leaves are just starting to change colors here.
Tried playing with Nikon's HDR Efex. Still not sure if I like it. This one was a bit over processed I think, but that was my doing, not the program. After looking at it more and more, I'm not sure I like how much I had the strength up. I'm torn between Photomatix and HDR Efex. I do like the fact that Photomatix gave me a sweet educator discount :)
A weir on the Glendasan River, near Glendalough, Co. Wicklow. This is a re-shoot of a version I took a few months ago, the original version was soft.
An entry for www.flickr.com/groups/mingtheinbwchallenge/ - I suspect its a bit over processed for this competition.
Over processing again. But I was having a hard time getting something I liked, so I figured I might was well have fun with the best of my worst.
MAM - This Old Guitar
TOTW - Muse (But I may try soemthing more appropriate later.)
Edited Suomi NPP image taken on 1 January 2015 of eddies and swirls in the Southern Ocean just off the coast of Antarctica. This image may be a touch over-processed (by me - sometimes I can't help myself).
This is super duper over processed, but I thought it sort of looked cool, so. Here it is.
I need to paint. I have been craving some paint time for a while, but I can't get around to it. I am sort of afraid that I can't come up with anything, but that's what gesso is for. (covering up bad paintings...) I can feel my artist coming back, slowly- she's in there! Must be patient.
Went back to Eden for the 4th time these last 2 weeks to see the whole thing completely demolished. While I was shooting I actually bumped into another photographer that was part of the last graduating class. 1989 was the last year this place ran before shutting the doors.
One of the last major pieces of this building that still remains are the front stairs to the former school. I was perched on top of them for this shot.
You can check out my friend GORE84's photostream for a picture of the front stairs before they were alone .....
Done in Photomatix and Photoshop CS3... I was going for the over processed look. I like the results.
Saturday night. Exhausted from rocking out at a Rock Band party last night. No desire to lug the Nikon out of its hiding place, and I left the point-and-shoot at the party, so I shoot my 365 w/ my Blackberry and promise to over-process the shit out of it come uploading time.
Promise fulfilled!

My Flickr 1st Birthday - 1 year - woah :)
A Huge Thank You to all the Wonderful Friends and Contacts that I've come across in Flickr Land.
I look forward to another year and will try to devote more time and effort (promise) :D ... YaY!!!!
Big Thanks to Ed for my Portrait : cityphotographer
Heavily edited and processed New Horizons false color image of Pluto, released on 14 July 2015, in anticipation of the large number (if slowly arriving) of images to come over the next eighteen months.
#25 Beads for 115 pictures in 2015
Another topic I had a hard time with. I only had my camera phone shopping in these nice colorful shops but the owners get quite angry if you take photos. This was done out of the side of my eye. It has been over-processed to death to try and give it a bit interest! Almost done!
...which looks like an unfortunate growth and I over processed the white of my eye because it's still bloodshot from Saturday night. I'm crying about the fact that the older you get, the longer you take to recover (unless, of course, you have Photoshop)
:-)

Writing on the Wall
This was done just outside Tara Station and it attracted some annoying attention. For it I wanted the graffiti to stand out against so I used my flash to light it up a bit but this attracted people like moths watching on asking what I was doing, some guy though I was trying to take pictures of fish....eventually I got kinda annoyed cause they started moving in too close so I packed up and went off and this came out of it. This is about 10 separate exposures layered on top of each other and set to lighten only followed by a little masking since I was caught holding the flash in each shot and then a crop and a hue shift to finish it off.

Over saturation and over processing in photoshop because i wanted to go extreme in editing.
Taking flower shots, editing them and uploading them always makes me happy. I hope seeing them makes you happy too. You can use this and other photos in my blog for your own purpose. If you want full size, just send me a message. :)
Okanagan Autocross
This was a fun edit. I am learning photoshop so this tutorial had me cut out the car and blur the background and add the car back in. I processed both layers separately and then touched the image up back in lightroom.
Really lazy day today. All I did was sit around, play video games and eat way too many packet noodles (no such thing). This picture is super lame and over-processed but hey-ho.
this was a nice picture once but I went crazy and over processed it. I dont care, I sort of think it's cool. I like the little zig zaggy ovals around my head. they remind me of a comic book or something. :-)
not one of my best maybe but everyone has those days right?
Apologies if you feel this image is inappropriate, or you don't like definitely over processed images!
