LAA Sywell Rally 2019.

Home built in the UK in 2003 and registered G-BXDU on 25Mar97.

...i see on the forums that they have been doing maintenance, and i see others who are also having this issue. I have automatic updates for the LL viewer so it was updated -- and now i am having trouble -- the advice i've seen says "just wait it out" -- it won't do any good to try to reload viewer.

i dunno.....i'm bummed....

...so please, if you need to contact me, i will be in SL as soon as it will let me in....

"People of Atlantis, hear me! My brother has come from the surface... to challenge me for the throne! Let us settle this in the ancient way: by bloodshed do the gods make known their will!"

Orm is definitely my favorite character from the movie, and I think this fig is pretty dang awesome.

This Yellowbilled Hornbill kept attacking his windscreen "rival", who refused to go away. ;-)

The attack was rather vicious.

I managed to grab this shot while he was taking a little breather…

Have a wonderful Sunday, everyone!

LAA Rally 2017 - Sywell - Northamptonshire.

Nice classic car in British Racing green in the car park at Sywell Aerodrome.

Manufactured in 1970 and registered in April 1970.

Sywell Aerodrome seems to attract classic cars.

In the background is Sywell air museum which includes a preserved Canberra nose and a very rare Hunter F2.

Built in the UK by Morris Motors in 1940 and registered T5888 with the RAF. Sold onto the UK civil register as G-ANFM on 22Oct53.

Amtrak 2255 rolls through ORMS interlocking just before the station in Providence on an overcast late-June afternoon in 2025. Leading the way out of Boston was AMTK 2033, making up one of the original twenty Acela trainsets.

LAA Rally Sywell 2018.

Built in the USA in 1943 as an L-4A Grasshopper and registered 42-38410. Transferred to the French Air Force and then to the French civil register as F-BEPK on 14Feb63. To the UK register as G-BHPK on 26Feb80.

The CAA has the /cn as 88-14863 but other sources has it as 88-14880.

Built in 1942/3 with USAAF serial 41-33908

Allocated RAF serial EX935 but there is no record of it receiving this serial.

Shipped straight to South Africa in Dec43 where it received the serial 7504 with the South African Air Force.

Sold to the Portuguese Air Force in Oct69 as 1508.

It came onto the UK civil register on 28Mar79 as G-BGOR.

It is currently painted in a nice but unconvincing USAAF scheme with its dubious cn as its serial on the fuselage rather than on the tail.

Home built in the UK and completed in 1999. Registered as G-OTRV on 27May98.
