I like this image of the Great Orm cable car in Wales. It looks a little cartoonish but I haven't really done much to it. I probably increased saturation a little bit and cropped it a lot.

While I was out looking for birds yesterday I encountered this adder (vipera berus) There seems to be a lot of them this year...

Am 1. April 2019 konnte ich im ersten zaghaften Morgenlicht den mit zwei 151er von Hectorrail bespannten Kohlezug zum Kraftwerk nach Fürstenhausen vor der Kulisse des Kraftwerkes Ensdorf fotografieren. Leider war die Sonne noch nicht komplett über die Bäume und die Rampe der Brücke, auf der ich stand, gewandert, sodass die zweite Lok noch arg viel Schatten abbekam. Trotzdem habe ich mich über meine erste fotografierte Hectorrail 162er und dann gleich in Doppeltraktion gefreut. Später am Morgen gab es dann noch ein SNCF FRETchen und eine "Suppe" mit SRG 151er an der selben Stelle fürs Archiv. Das Bild war der Auftakt eines vom Wetter her wirklich wunderbaren Tages....
Seen at Sywell Aerodrome in Northamptonshire is this Cirrus SR22T GTS Platinum c/n 2288 built in the USA in 2021.
Registered on 22Apr21.
Nice classic car in British Racing green in the car park at Sywell Aerodrome.
Registered in September 1972.

Built in Poland in 2010. Sold to Belgium on 19Jul11 as OO-CFA. Transferred to the UK and registered as G-SACW on 12Apr13.
Built in 1942 by Morris Motors and delivered to the RAF as EM720. Later transferred to the French Air Force. To the French civil register as F-BDMM on 06Dec50. To the UK register as G-AXAN on 21Feb69 and currently painted in its wartime RAF colours.
I cannot find anything on the web relating to this solo flight challenge to Darwin.

At Roque de los Muchachos Observatory (ORM), on the rim of the Taburiente National Park, at 2396 metres above sea level stands one of the largest arrays of telescopes in the world.
Because of the sky above La Palma, this observatory enjoys exceptional conditions for astronomical research.
At the moment, here we find the largest optical-infrared telescope in the world, along with twenty other telescopes.
Providence and Worcester Railroad's Valley Falls based local PR3 is slow rolling west down freight only Main 7 of Amtrak's New Haven Line at ORMS interlocking at MP 186. Due to having hazmat loads in their train they will hold up outside the station tunnel account Amtrak's rules require the platforms to be clear of passengers when hazardous loads pass thru. They will wait for two Amtrak regionals to pass before they are given permission to continue on their way to Cranston Yard where they'll leave the main to head out the Harbor Junction Running Track to the port of Providence and go about their day's work. Leading the short train are PW GP38-2s 2006 and 2008 which were built new for the then only 7 year newly independent road by EMD in Feb. and Dec. 1980 respectively. Sharp eyes will note the ACS64 leading southbound train 171 coming up alongside them on Main 1....they were only 10 seconds from a perfect side by side in the light....ugghhh!
