Yesterday we went out for an excursion, to Silverton, OR to see one of the falls we have never been to before: the North Falls. It's far more beautiful than I had imagined, and in fact, I think it's more interesting (as a photographer) than the South Falls (which gets most of the attention). The sheer scale of the cavern behind the North Falls is astonishing. You could build houses back there.

“Who in the world am I? Ah, that's the great puzzle.”
― Lewis Carroll , Alice in Wonderland
"I want to chase them! Can I never turn back?" She asked, looking longingly up at the sky, towards her dreams, towards adventure... towards the unknown.
"But what about what you already have here?" A response with another question, eyeing her with disapproval. "Responsibilities, promises and what society expects of you..."
She pouted, heaving a huge sigh, still looking up at the sky. Stubborn nature taking over, "I don't care, I'll never come back." she said adamantly.
"In due time..." The words were whispered, a hand reaching over her chest, "Don't waste time..." it repeated over and over...
P.S. Photo taken at one of Missing Melody's public spots, the open meadow. Best place for inspiration and relaxation. ;)
Another shot in the recent Balluminaria event.

Or high tea on Sgurr na Stri this being the view from the top over Loch Scavaig and Loch Coruisk with the Cuillin Ridge behind.
It's 12 o'clock and time for lunch. Down far below the boat back is at half one so it might be fast food.

Ring-necked Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus) encounter;
acting very cautious, still unsure about each other's intentions.
I was wondering whether or not to continue with my journey in Glen Cannich when I noticed the incoming snow shower, but I carried on and enjoyed a good walk in sunshine with Archie the dog.
