The Parthenon, the preeminent symbol of the ancient world, was transformed into a three-aisled basilica with a gallery, two narthexes and a baptistery in the late 6th century. Similarly, damage was inflicted on much of the Parthenon's sculptural decoration by the adherents of the new faith. The church became an important shrine of the Virgin, attracting pilgrims from far afield. It underwent repairs, additions and further adornment in the 12th century, when it was used as the cathedral of Athens.
A variety of pictures of the area around the cruise port in Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands. These were taken on a beautiful day (that had a few showers mixed in) on Wednesday February 19th, 2020. On board the Celebrity Equinox for Seth's Big Fat Broadway Cruise from February 15th to the 22nd, 2020. The itinerary includes stops in San Juan (Puerto Rico), Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas (US Virgin Islands), Tortola (British Virgin Islands), Nassau (Bahamas) before returning to Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale, Florida). The best part is that we are on Seth's Big Fat Broadway Cruise again!

This photo meets the rubric because it is a picture of the lake. It has a sunset and trees in it, but the main focus is the lake. I thought taking it with with the dock would look cute with the lake and sun. It is not the best picture though. It could be more straight and more in focus.
This photo was taken at Spanaway lake on December 27th 2011
Exposure- 1/100
F-stop number- f/5.2
ISO- 64
CBPA- This is my rule of thirds picture. I chose this one because it fits the description of rule of thirds. The trees and sun set are in the upper half of the picture. The sun is in the top right half of the photo. The dock is in the bottom left hand of the corner which I think is a nice object in this photo. It makes me think of a family going home from the park where they had a picnic. The water is in the bottom half of the photo leading your eye to the sun set. The water is what you call the positive space because that is the most space that is being occupied. I chose this photo because I thought it was a good picture to pick for the rule of thirds.
CBPA- I also chose this photo as emphasis. I thought it would fir because the water is an important part in this photo. It leads your eye up to the sun and trees. I think that the texture of the water which looks rough is also important cause you can see that it makes waves. This is why I chose this photo as my emphasis.

Of Faith, Power, and Glory: October 13-18, 2011
In Of Faith, Power, and Glory, the sixth and final exhibition of Baang and Burne Contemporary's six-week art event, titled "6x6", the gallery juxtaposes photographs of Russia of a by-gone era with
strikingly painted portraits of dictators and tyrants inspired by present day "bad guys" of contemporary society.
