The Valley of Rocks is a dry valley that runs parallel to the coast just outside Lynton. Know for its geoligy and having good exposures of the Lynton Beds (formally the 'Lynton Formation') that are among the oldest Devonian rocks in north Devon and are highly fossiliferous. Also of note are the periglacial features formed when this area was at the limit of glaciation during the last Ice Age

The Ogden Point Breakwater Lighthouse in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada on September 8th, 2022. The breakwater and lighthouse are in walking distance from the cruise port and visiting was a real treat. We arrived at the port during the late morning and I walked the breakwater around 4pm after our excursion. The Celebrity Solstice was coming in for their evening in port while I was on the breakwater. The stop in Victoria was excellent and I am glad that it was part of our itinerary. Taken during our cruise on board the Royal Caribbean Ovation of the Seas for the seven night Alaska Experience Cruise (September 2nd through 9th, 2022). The cruise embarks from Seattle, Washington and the itinerary includes stops in Juneau (AK), Skagway (AK), Sitka (AK) and Victoria (British Columbia, Canada) before heading back to Seattle.

#90910 First day of the new term after the sit-in. Lucy Craig, photography student, had been expelled but returned and insisted she be allowed in. She was re-instated. 30th September 1968 The sit-in was the longest ever at a UK education establishment and led directly to students being on the boards of all establishments today.
Jake's Graduation at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. The graduation ceremony was held on the steps of The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. The second half of the day, both cameras malfunctioned due to the amount of rain they absorbed; no settings could be changed (ISO, etc); only the shutter button worked. After 8hrs of dry time, they both regained full functionality.
Star of Hopes skola i Taytay utanför huvudstaden Manila öppnade 1989. Varje år firar skolan "Foundation Day" för skolans grundande.
I år fyllde skolan 24 år. Det firades med musik, dans och uppträdande. Det är en rolig dag som uppskattas av alla.
Läsåret 2012-13 fick cirka 2 500 elever sin grundläggande utbildning så att de ska klara sig bättre i framtiden. Vi ger en bra start i livet, framtidshopp och utveckling där det behövs mest.
