This dolly is just one example of the tools used to keep the backyard in order and to continue to make habitat enhancements. It is held together with nuts and bolts.

This weeks Smile on Saturday Group theme is nuts and bolts.

Never in a million years would I have thought to take an image of nuts and bolts of any kind or anywhere. So, thanks to the group, I'm getting out of my little box on occasion.

I hope you are able to smile a lot today and everyday, happy snapping.

We have an old tin, full of once useful bits, bobs and thingummies. Most are rusty, bent or worn, but still the tin remains in the shed, just in case...

Maybe just in case I need to take a photo!?

Balnarring Beach is one of many areas that surround Western Port Bay. It is an area where people swim, sail, paddle, walk and relax, especially during the warmer months from November to May. Western Port Bay is one of two bays that surround and create Mornington Peninsula. It consists of sandy beaches, rock platforms and mangrove and salt marsh areas. It is extremely significant biologically and in 1982 was given a special designation of a wetland of international importance especially as a Waterfowl habitat (Ramsar Convention).

The Sony E 70-350mm telephoto is a wonderful lens to take exploring. It's even great for close-up shots. This is an old railroad track in Allen, TX.

The bridges over the Leeds-Liverpool canal were built to last. As this rusty nut shows many, many years after its construction. HSS one and all.

The more they rust, the more they stick together.

Just like in a real relationship. The more you see each other's flaws, and be able to accept and live with it, the longer you'll be bolted together. =)

I'm loving this Laowa Macro 2X lens, although focusing is a bit of a challenge. Everything looks darker in the viewfinder than in reality. I wish there was a way around that.
