A friend gave us this years ago working on the Mackinac Bridge when they were replacing with new ones.
Looking Close on Friday - Nuts and Bolts
Happy Looking Close on Friday everyone.
Hope this is OK, as it is only 1 nut and 1 bolt :)
Mit Muttern und Schrauben in der Gegend rumgucken. Ganz schön verwirrend.

Do you know these confusing drawings in the children's books? In which so many things can be seen that the eyes always jump back and forth? To be able to recognize a little more, maybe to be able to see the future a little more clearly, I tried nuts and bolts as a telescope – didn't really work ;-) But I had fun with this self-portrait in my garden ...

#SmileOnSaturday / #NutsAndBolts
This weeks's theme of the Smile on Saturday group is "Nuts and Bolts". I found some old and rusty ones but didn't know what to do with them. Finally I decided to photoshop them into a capture I took this morning during a stroll around the palace of Ludwigsburg. The building is certainly much older than my nuts and bolts but in much better shape. :) HSoS !
Taken for the theme of "nuts and bolts" in the SOS group.
Plain nuts & bolts just didn't inspire me, but I had fun creating these owls with a tea towel as a backdrop. Nuts for eyes and bolts for beaks, the googly eyes brought them to life :)

These strange mushrooms were found at the bottom of the garden and are definitely not edible.
I am pretty confident in saying, that for many visitors and viewers, that this old and weathered GMC, is much more than just a bucket of nuts and bolts.
I have added high definition detailing to this photo, to age it accordingly, in efforts to achieve a little more bang for the buck. So to speak. Hope you like it.

Another from AGCM’s special event last month where the winding engine was going to be operational, albeit under diesel and compressed air power for an hour. I’ve never seen it run before so paid them a visit.

Finally the travel restrictions have been lifted in Scotland and I was able to briefly get out into the hills. Unfortunately the weather was against me, but up at the Glenshee Ski Centre I did come across this abandoned bit of old fixing in the Scottish Mountains.

A little "Happy Smile on Saturday" for all of you.
And please stay healthy.
This dolly is just one example of the tools used to keep the backyard in order and to continue to make habitat enhancements. It is held together with nuts and bolts.
This weeks Smile on Saturday Group theme is nuts and bolts.
Never in a million years would I have thought to take an image of nuts and bolts of any kind or anywhere. So, thanks to the group, I'm getting out of my little box on occasion.
I hope you are able to smile a lot today and everyday, happy snapping.
