I'm told I have a tendency for being rather verbose. Well, what can I say? School teachers used to report I was too quiet. Now apparently I talk too much....says my boss, who always starts a question with, " A question for you......?" Before asking the question. Why not f-cking just ask the question???
But still I find myself sometimes struggling for a word. Especially when I'm distracted, star struck..... spell-bound. Hmmmm. Bobblehat. And so oak nuts.........tree eggs.............oh yeah, acorns!!! I can be a goof, an idiot, a tw@t! With a smile.
I'm a bit taken by this. It's a story of sorts. Film and music. Of a woman, the 'ifs' and 'buts' of her life as she ages. Taken for the group #MacroMondays Theme: #Nuts
Wing Nuts, Hex Nuts & Peanuts on a textured paper background taken macro 1:1.
Where would we be without nuts! Wing nuts that you can tighten without hunting for the right spanner. Hex nuts for those who have time to hunt or are well organised and Peanuts to provide energy for tightening Wing nuts or hunting for the correct spanner size for the Hex nuts :)

Macro Mondays -- Theme "Handmade"
When this theme was announced I knew I would use a Christmas ornament. Choosing which one was a problem though for I have waaaaaay too much Christmas stuff and a lot of it is handmade. I settled on this one made of two nuts glued together then painted and dressed.
The ornament is about 2.5" tall but the portion of it shown is only about 1.5".
Austria series: Nuts about nuts
This cute alpine marmot (Marmota marmota) is a foodie: She loves corn, carrots and cashew nuts. Isn't her smile beautiful?
Dieses Alpenmurmeltier ist ein Schleckermäulchen und nimmt jede Sachspende in Form von Mais, Karotten und Nüssen sehr dankbar an. Hat sie nicht ein wunderschönes Lächeln?
I am pretty confident in saying, that for many visitors and viewers, that this old and weathered GMC, is much more than just a bucket of nuts and bolts.
I have added high definition detailing to this photo, to age it accordingly, in efforts to achieve a little more bang for the buck. So to speak. Hope you like it.

One from the archive for Looking Close... on Friday this week. I had intended to get down to the woods to take a new nutty photo but ...
Macro Monday ..... Theme " Made from Metal"
Admittedly not too attractive on the eye, but the old painted and rusted bolts and washer, fit the theme perfectly.
Macro Mondays theme: nuts
All nuts were eaten after the last photo was taken.
Thanks for all kind comments and favs. I appreciate every one. Stay Safe.

For Macro Mondays 'Damage' theme.
This is the damage on one of the peanut bird feeders caused by the naughty squirrel. He has eaten a massive hole into the feeder along with most of the nuts. Still, He's too cute so I have forgiven him.
Thanks to everyone that views and comments on my images - very much appreciated.

Compositionally Challenged Week 48 - Indoor Lighting
I used the light from a north facing bay window and set the EV to -1 to temper the glare on the table. ISO 800 allowed me to hold the camera and not use the tripod. : )
CC November Most Versatile - Seed pods, nuts, acorns (choose one or all)
The squirrels ate all the acorns, so I'm left with nuts. ; )
