Lo interesante de esta foto es que para sacarla necesité andar en bote por los dockes de Buenos Aires. A pasitos del Casino.
I started this numbers project and was stuck right out of the gate at #2, just couldn't commit to a specific image for good old #2. Regardless, I finally decided on this idea.

"Eat your soup before it gets cold, honey," my mother would warn me whenever I played with my alphabet soup. But my five year old mind couldn't comprehend why someone would create an alphabet soup and not expect me to play with it. What was the point of putting in a bunch of letters and numbers if we weren't supposed to try to come up with words before the soggy noodles broke apart and finally sank to the bottom of the bowl? I'd furiously coax them with my spoon but there'd always be that one crucial letter that wouldn't cooperate. It would somehow elude my advances or sometimes infuriate me by flipping face down in the mire. But when I got my word, I wanted it to stay forever. I didn't want to eat my creation. I wished I could cast it in stone for the world to see. "Look mom, cat. C-A-T!"

Interesting what you find when you least expect it - these numbers & letters are on the inside of the pallet used to construct our compost bin. Never noticed them until today...
