EHVs have always been known to only work Routes 135 & D7. After the 135 loss, this was around the time the OMEs had gone into a re-call after a fire broke out at PB. The EHVs went to AL to cover the Mes on Route 200 and after Mes went straight back to 200 after the issue was not the issue of the model. Since then, the EHVs have been working school services at RR/DS. Today finally saw one stray off of the schools and work Route 115. It is seen at Canning Town working a trip towards East Ham.

Motif #1. The red fishermen's shack that is the heart of the little seacoast town of Rockport, Massachusetts. Having grown up here, I can't go back to town without paying a visit to such a good old friend!

Trans Canada Highway, traffic
British Columbia Highway 1
Pemberton Heights, North Vancouver, British Columbia
Highway 1 is a provincial highway in British Columbia, Canada, that carries the main route of the Trans-Canada Highway (TCH). The highway is 1,047 kilometres (651 mi) long and connects Vancouver Island, the Greater Vancouver region in the Lower Mainland, and the Interior.
The Trans-Canada Highway abbreviated as the TCH or T-Can) is a transcontinental federal–provincial highway system that travels through all ten provinces of Canada, from the Pacific Ocean on the west coast to the Atlantic Ocean on the east coast. The main route spans 7,476 km (4,645 mi) across the country, one of the longest routes of its type in the world. The highway system is recognizable by its distinctive white-on-green maple leaf route markers, although there are small variations in the markers in some provinces.
I was by this location about three times in the last few months and each time I pass it I find it depressing and shocking that it's now nothing more than an ATV trail. This is train number 1 roaring along about to cross Highway 54 west of Black Creek in May 1982 with 321, 310 and 317 powering a hefty 107 car train west.

It was a heavy and humid morning. I had rushed down to the Garden District, hoping to see the sun rise while standing among graves more than a century old.
However, there was a slight kink in my plans. The cemetery caretaker was nowhere in sight. I was told by a morning stroller that he was an old, slow man who wouldn't come and unlock the gate for another 40 minutes.
I stood there for a minute, wondering what Plan B would be. And then I started walking.
I soon turned the corner of the cemetery, marveling at the stately homes in the silence of dawn, and suddenly came across this chair.
Just sitting there, on the sidewalk, with a gaping hole in the middle of the seat's thatching.
Why was this there? Who put it there? What was the point? There was no one around to answer.
I pondered these questions for another minute, but for some reason the chair attracted me, as if carrying a silent majestic quality, poised among the scattered fall leaves on the sidewalk with the semi-decay of the cemetery wall looming behind it.
And so I took this. In its stillness. With no one around. Just me and my camera. And the heavy, damp air of a New Orleans morning.
And also probably a ghost, sitting there on the chair, fanning herself, wondering who this lame guy is pointing a small black box in her direction.

The discussion thread for this picture is now closed for further comment. But I would appeal to you to read the comment very near to the end by my good friend, Osvaldo Zoom, and my response. He makes some very important points that we should all bear in mind. It is a real shame that some people in this discussion - not necessarily here but elsewhere - have been offensive to people. I hope that can end. And I hope we can now move on.
Many thanks
Tom
This shot - and the quote from Walter Scott - is dedicated to all the people who are members of the Private Group that uses this symbol Œ... (I think the group is currently called "ExCa").
My dear friends, I apologise for using this post to complain but I find it very sad that a group of people - whether willfully or out of pure ignorance - are acting like this. I participate in Flickr because I love the social camaraderie and the learning opportunities. And, yes, if one of my pictures makes it to the Front Page I like it. I am happy to admit that. But I am not obsessed with it.
Take a look at Explore now and I bet a large number of the top ten shots will have the Πsymbol amongst the comments. Then click on the name of whoever used the symbol and look at one of their shots. See how many times it appears in the comments they too have received... You will discover a tangled web of deception... And many of these people will then boast about their 'success'. Ha!
I don't care if these people dominate Explore. I just feel sorry if that is all they want to do. And I feel disappointed if some of my contacts are trapped in that way of behaviour.
No doubt I will have offended some people with this post - and I will definitely have lost some people who might otherwise comment on my shots!!! But that's the price you pay. And, if nothing else, hopefully this post will be cathartic and help me get the whole thing off my chest! :)

Update on 25 January: The response to this discussion has been fantastic and I am really grateful to every one who has participated. I am especially grateful to the small number of group members who have been in touch to say that they will be quitting the group. Thank you. But, longer term, what is the solution? In my view it is simple. Make the group public. If the group has nothing to hide then put all of your 'nothings' on the table. If everything is legitimate then there's nothing to fear. And if anything is inappropriate then the Magic Donkey will do what's necessary.
One group member (whose picture came very high in Explore last night) told me in a message "I am sure as the group is growing day by day...anyway the whole effect will fall apart anyway..So sorry to see that you have to react and spoil the fun..!!". On her first point - that the group will lose its effect - I hope she's right; and on the second - that I'm spoiling their fun - well, I really don't care because they are spoiling the fun for far more people. It's our Flickr, it doesn't belong to some little clique...
Second update: Thanks again to everyone for contributing to this discussion. It has been very useful and I hope we have all come out of it more informed. I have certainly learned a lot from everyone's comments and especially from the excellent email exchanges with some of the group members - thank you to them especially. All else aside, they do produce wonderful pictures.
There is a sense of irony that your comments have led to this picture (at the time of writing) being on the Interestingness Page so that even more people can read about this issue. But now is the time for us all to move on and enjoy Flickr for what it is - a super community, where we can learn from each other and enjoy the special company it provides.
Felt quite different this morning. As you know, I can only exist during weekdays and before 5pm, time at which, I must return to "Cinderella", as I don't have the chance to live this fantasy 24/7. Thought about the "pleats" photos some of you posted over the week-end and thought I'd reciprocate. This dress, I managed to save from occasional purging -- more like 'making room" --, I won't go into detail but this is a dress style that must have been popular with certain women, at some time, "last century" (yes, I'm that old). It's got "pleats", one of my last "pleated dress" (I regret giving away so many of my hard-earned dresses in the past? It's not like I have a wardrobe full of dresses, waiting for me to try them on. Each of my dresses is like a "hunting trophy", obtained through efforts and sacrifices. Have no fear, I survived each of these and now feel quite rewarded)... So this is a "shirtdress", if I'm not mistaking. I must have worn it to some dinner, I'm sure, at some point. Paid it dirt cheap. It's practically "new", whoever used to own this dress before must hot have worn it all that much? It's a Leslie Faye. They used to make a ton of these, in various styles, in the '60s, 70s, perhaps 80s too. But not anymore. The style was "conservative", I guess. Still, I like wearing this dress. It's not my "number1" dress but it's quite feminine, in its own kind, and comfortable. I like the fact that it has long sleeves which hide my too masculine arms. Also noteworthy, in this image, is my "white" eye shadow. It's the first time I managed to get a white "creamy" and "opaque" look. I'm so thrilled :-)
Have a nice day, wherever you are.

This Is Experimental
A poem by Peter S. Quinn
This is experimental
A sketch of what I see
Contrast reality wall
Of what makes life be
A photo in its still
Or pencil drawing spin
Both seeing to fulfill
From sight and within
What comes here across?
Might be just a dream
Or a view in an emboss
That sometimes will seem

Seeing as my Flickr-stream has become more of a personal outlet of what I shoot as opposed to the online portfolio it started out as, it's become rare to see this sort of photo on here. This is part of a client project, for a property and construction consultants. I got set on (through a Flickr-friend) to photograph a few various buildings throughout NZ for their case studies, and whilst shooting stuff which was of use to them, I did manage to see a few things through my own eyes.
This image did actually make it to the client, but is probably as near to the slightly off-the-wall Dave way of seeing things as I'd dare present to a client I think. This is inside Wellington airport, and is more of a recognition of some clever graphic design than anything. Also quite cool to be able to shoot this sort of stuff without the security being able to stop you, working instead of snapping and hoping you don't get caught! :-)

Following the success of the eight Volvo 7900-EV single deckers. The Harrogate Bus Company are now evaluating the latest ADL/BYD collaboration the B8UR single deck electric bus.
In late 2013, two K9E integral saloons, to work in London on the 507 and 521 services. Then during 2016 BYD and ADL announced a joint venture, using the Chinese tech and ADL bodywork using the E20D MMC style, 53 arrived for Go-Ahead London. During the next few years more batches arrived into London service. BYD also won the contract for the Nottingham City Link services.
Here the B8UR is seen travelling along Knaresborough, passing Bilton Hill. While working during its first day on trial for the next generation of vehicles on the service. Many thanks to Keith Renshaw who was driving at the time.
