I am so glad fur is back for fall! Transition from summer in a vest version that can be worn for work, dinner, or girls night! Of Course I like to take fashion cues from my favorite stylist Rachel Zoe! She rocks her fur vest over a black top and jeans for dinner or with an evening gown for a night on the town. My other style icon is Olivia Palermo, she wears hers to work over a men's wear shirt, pencil skirt, and belts it. The Olsen twins are also on trend wearing there's with black long sleve shirts. Putting right sides together, line up the edges of two of the small squares with the edges of two diagonal corners of the large square. Draw a line, across both small squares from corner to corner.
Rather than sitting at my desk every lunch time, I decided to go out and start planning some projects. Armed with my diary, a notebook and a coffee, I planned my lunch away. I was almost late back to my desk because i lost track of time.

Ari got all dressed up in his pirate gear today to see Aunt Abby's ECU v. State tennis match. He got lots of oooo's and aaaa's in his cute little outfit....next year at this time he'll be cheering for Auntie! It was so good to see Abs, we don't get to often enough!!! Shockingly, he made it through all 4 hours. By the time we left, the ground was covered in snow. We had quite the stressful drive home: baby screaming, snow falling, and crazies driving :)
I got to take a couple good long walks around a day while working the Tabloia table. You could walk a good way, but then you'd hit the wall of crowds waiting for free posters or to meet some celebrity (which all seemed to happen around the movie studio spaces) and it was a real challenge to break through or return the way you came.
The "Free Hugs" kids anime fans started to appear, and they all seemed to be incredibly depressed. By the way, there are no such thing as "free hugs" from depressed, sweaty teenagers.
I also had my first meeting with Mr. Deer, a member of the con staff who was in a wheelchair. He would stop by periodically to talk about things, pitch his idea about a secret agent in a wheelchair and to hit on any females who happened to be browsing the table.

First Aid and Chemical Warfare notes.
I started with an Ehrman Tapestry design called "Notes" and began to tweak the tent stitches. Closeup pictures show fishes of french knots, stripes of knitting stitch and lots of smyrna cross stitches to give the piece texture. Great fringe from Suzi Hightower. Blood, sweat and needles provided by me.
I heart Sassafras Lass!!!! I also used elles sweet little deer journaling tag and heartfelt sayings by evalicious. album is 4x6 and has 12 pages :)
