" When everything lies in disguise
How could I ever forget?
Those eyes looking for my weal
How could I ever know more?
When everything is held by threat
How could I ever feel you?
Once again, without losing my mind
Oh empty note
Shadows of my past
Made it to the end
Oh empty note
Shadows of my past
Made it to the end
How could I ever know you?
When you are miles and miles away
How could I forgive myself?
How blind and scared I was
Oh empty note.. "

Tony was a friend of mine
We were together all the time
He had my back
Once he really saved my life
Sometimes, I wanna call him
Say "Hey, let's stay up, 'til morning"
And when I close my eyes
When I close my eyes
I see you
You
When I close my eyes
When I close my eyes
You come through
You
Time just deepens
Sweetens, and mends
Old friends
We all melt back into the picture
Raindrops back into the water
Old friends
And there are no ends to old friends
Amen
🎶 Sorry about the earworm 🎶…..
It was as either this one or the mini Oreos and the Cookie Monster singing in my head won out!!
The Macro Mondays theme for tomorrow, 11/7, is biscuits, or - on this side of the pond - cookies. These are one of the six varieties I bought to photograph. Luckily there is someone who will help eat them, to save me from myself… giggling.
Btb, I’ll put up a size verification in a bit- each letter is just one inch square.

We've waited our whole lives for this
Just wishing on stars
Held patience as time was passing
We've made it so far
And the sun comes out, and the light shines in
And the moment we've dreamed of begins
And the sun comes out, and the light shines in
And the moment we've dreamed of begins
We're falling into place
Falling into place
We're falling into place
Falling into place
The magic is worth the waiting
Even in darker days
The pieces just fit together
Finding a way
And the sun comes out, and the light shines in
And the moment we've dreamed of begins
We're falling into place
Falling into place
We're falling into place
Falling into place
We made it, we made it
We made it, we made it now
We made it, we made it
We made it, we made it now
We're falling into place
Falling into place
Finally falling into place
Here's the second in the pair of "fence notes" I took last weekend at the Delaware shore. I was thinking they looked like quarter notes, with the shadows as musical bars. Yes, yes, that might be pushing the musical metaphor a little far ... but why not?

A Poem by Neale Horrocks The Poetic Vagabond
The sky, the sky, it cries today
Raindrops slowly fall our way
Like tiny bombs on the land
Crafted lovingly by Gods hand
The sky, the sky, weeps sad tears
Each one armed with love and fears
Clinging tightly on every flower
Falling, falling every hour
The sky, the sky, tears on its face
Down, so beautifully, they do race
Cleansing the sins from a heart
They kiss natures lips and never part
Raindrops, raindrops, fall our way
The sky, the sky, it cries today

As one night he was walking,
the old turtle took a longer step
of the leg and fell down
with the house turned upside down.
A toad shouted, “You fool!
These are skin-deep getaways… ”
"I know," she replied, "but before he died,
I see the stars. "
Music was my refuge. I could crawl into the space between the notes and curl my back to loneliness.

Cold bones, yeah, that's my love
She hides away, like a ghost
Does she know that we bleed the same?
Don't wanna cry but I break that way
Cold sheets, but where's my love?
I am searching high
I'm searching low in the night
Does she know that we bleed the same?
Don't wanna cry but I break that way
Did she run away?
Did she run away, I don't know
If she ran away
If she ran away, come back home
Just come home
I got a fear, oh, in my blood
She was carried up into the clouds, high above
If you've bled, I bleed the same
If you're scared, I'm on my way
Did you run away?
Did you run away, I don't need to know
If you ran away
If you ran away, come back home
Just come home
