Actually, these 'buttons' are organ mixture stops. These stops give to each organ note simultaneously the notes of the major chord, in other words the major third and perfect fifth. Unique, chunky finch. Note the massive bill (steely gray in summer, pinkish in winter) and blue-gray hindneck, like a shawl on an orangey head. Broad white tail tip and white wing band show mainly in flight. Despite distinctive appearance, shy and easily overlooked. Favors mixed and deciduous mature woodland, especially with beech, oak, and hornbeam, where tends to feed and perch quietly, high in the canopy. Also feeds on the ground in autumn and winter, sometimes forming single-species flocks. Gives high-pitched “tsik!” and lower ticking calls.

Taken handheld. Sooc jpeg, just slightly edited in IrfanView. I lucked out with the shutter speed of 1/30 sec here, thanks partly to the camera's solid IBIS.
Note to self--it doesn't work to be lazy, leave your ND filters in the truck, and hope to combine discrete frames in a Photoshop stack to get smooth flowing water (this is a stack of 14 frames).

My flying soul 🎶
As the floating balloons inside me drift, I'm captivated by the magic of this moment. They are floating right in front of my eyes, as if each one carries the color of a dream of mine. The cigarette clutched between my lips slowly sends out the smoke of my dreams; with every breath, I become a little more free. The cello standing behind me is like a silent reflection of the music within me, its notes echoing in my soul. Everything comes together in this one moment; my soaring spirit, lost time, and the melody of eternity... This moment is my freedom. Defying the crowds of Istanbul, I have created a world within myself, and here, there is only me, my dreams, and my music.
