The newest version of my Field Notes Storage Bin printed in Translucent Blue PLA 4043D from MakerGear. This print has pretty much swayed me over to PLA as my default print media.
I created this version for myself that has the field notes logo, I am in no way affiliated with Field Notes... I just love their products.
I’m crazy about pens . . . I have gel pens, erasable pens, green, blue, purple, red, pens from all over the world. I love writing notes. Now time to time I write notes to my patients. Not essays just a few words. But then again people more easily accept rudeness than kindness and believe in hate than love.

It was a stunning Winters morning. However, the powdery snow made braking conditions truly lethal. We ran at much reduced speed due to the vastly increased braking distances required.
Normal sounds of travel are "muffled" when moving about in these conditions. Its a quite a surreal experience.
In such conditions timekeeping goes out of the window. Safety first, second...... and third!

Two of the Shinigamis (translates to "god of death" or "death spirit") from the Death Note anime and manga. Ryuk, on the left, is usually presented as a male. But there is no law that says that they are of specific gender.
I created the light effect with the "Orb" stencil/gobo on my MagMod (MagBeam) flash modifier.
Another page torn from one of my school note books - a useful way of utilising what we called our 'Rough Books' - I was an early adopter of Recycling :)
The sheet shows the results of a whole day at Heathrow - quite a feast of movements on this one sheet alone :)

When I had just turned 14 years of age, I was looking to expand my portfolio of hobbies! I had already been indoctrinated into the world of bus spotting and train spotting by my older brother, but he never had an interest in aviation. It was my school mates at senior school who encouraged me to visit Heathrow - a mere 4 miles from where I lived in Southall! I was quickly hooked, and the interest never really went away, although it waned by the early 1990s when all the best aircraft had disappeared :(
'Aircraft spotting or plane spotting is a hobby of tracking the movement of aircraft, which is often accomplished by photography. Besides monitoring aircraft, aircraft spotting enthusiasts (who are usually called plane spotters) also record information regarding airports, air traffic control communications and airline routes.'

Field notes on display at the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller. The lighting was nice and the composition pleasing. Made for a nice image SOOC.
Getting a note from our 3 1/2 year-old granddaughter in the mail is a wonderful surprise. Since I didn't have children of my own, it is an especial delight to see an envelope addressed to Nana (amd Papa). And no, I do not know why there's a rocket on here. Or wait, maybe it's something else entirely!

This mezzanine floor at Waterloo must be a fairly recent introduction. I dunno, what they'll do to squeeze a bit more rental income and retail floorspace out of our London termini. You know the sort of thing. All very "Euro", with tables outside, menus on blackboards, little trees in "planters", modish coffee shops, saxophone tootlings from concealed speakers. Not the place for a serious bit of spotting and I can't imagine a 70s-style gricer, with his Adidas bag, bobble hat, notebooks and variously coloured ballpoints being very welcome up here. A quick Flickr search came up with photographs from as late as 2009 in which the structure is absent. Distressingly, quite a lot of photos have already appeared showing the bird's eye view of the concourse, so I won't add to their number for now. I think that's a scrunch dry on the left. I expect the married men among my readers will admit to having picked up a rudimentary understanding of this macabre coiffuring lingo from their wives.

Tengku Tengah Zaharah Mosque or more commonly called Masjid Terapung is a unique design which is built on a floating platform, giving a floating feel from far away. The mosque is built on the estuary of Terengganu River by one of the prince in Terengganu state. Combining both modern and Moorish architecture design, the mosque symbolizes the innovation and modernisation in the state.
A state where religion is held close to it's people's hearts, the Tengku Tengah Zaharah Mosque, or also referred to as the Floating Mosque, is one of the icons of Islam in the state. Built from an idea birthed by the late Sultan of Terengganu, Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah ibni al-Marhum Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah, this mosque was named after his mother, Tuanku Intan Zaharah binti Almarhum Tengku Seri Setia Raja.
The ideal time to visit this mosque is in the evening, when the evening sun shines on the mosque, turning the building into golden colour while the cooling breeze blow from the South China sea.
The mosque is located in Teluk Ibai, just over 4km away from Kuala Terengganu town centre, quite close to the beautiful beach of Terengganu's coast. The white structure of the mosque gorunds covers and area of roughly 5 acres and serves a number of villages nearby.
The beauty of its architecture and serenity of its surrounding landscape, also draws a great number of visitors to Terengganu who take the opportunity to perform their prayers and take a breather from their journey at this mosque. The design of the mosque reflects a subtle Islamic influence combined with local features, incorporating the use of marble, ceramics, mosaic works and bomanite paving. Constructed with a lake surrounding it, much like a moat, the mosque is popularly referred to as the Floating Mosque. With the backdrop of the open South China Sea, this mosque is an irresistable attraction to visitors in Terengganu.

While visiting my sweetie and the barred owls/owlets in his back yard, I spotted a feather in the area underneath where the adult likes to hang out. My heart leaped when I saw this special marking. I’ve turned it over to emphasize the heart shape, but it still felt like a love note from the owls and Mother Nature! He and I met while watching great horned owlets at a public park, so this felt like another owl blessing upon us!
