Very different. I get the hair and the clothes but I don’t get the masks – either modern as with the “harajuku` girl on the left or traditional as with the white face of the geisha on the right. And as for the black teeth which you occasionally see…
Well it’s just not logical – is it?
My project is about representing myself through representations of myself- a straightforward introduction to who I am and what I am capable of, as a cartoonist, a sculptor, and a virtual modeler.
In this first shoot, “The Artist as a Mesh”, I made a collage of various versions of my 3D self-portraits and took a picture of the screen. They were experiments, some successful, some failures. They also represent my foray into a medium I was formerly unfamiliar with, and my journey as I got more accustomed to it. The alternate version of the same screen, but with a colder glow and a different arrangement of the images.
In the second shoot, “The Artist as a Cartoon”, I printed out several past cartoon renditions of myself and piled them on top of one another. The dot matrix comprisal of the printed images turns fragments into smaller fragments- how easy it is to get lost in multiples and matrices! There is the You that you see, and the infinite ways that others see You. The alternate version of the second shoot has me holding up a mirror self-portrait I had done of myself in drawing class. It was taken by Sierra Turner, to whom I had given instructions to make sure that I appear at the center of the photo.
In the last shoot, “The Artist as a Sculpt”, I posed my terrifying clay rabbit puppet in front of a mirror, questioning her nonexistence. The alternate version is a portrait of her, sitting on a nice green blanket, with a jacket hill in the background.

If you want to know what I love ... this is what I love: The moon, the water, the sky, the Universe, Nature, cultural and religious diversity everything, nothing, existence and nonexistence.
I look out my window and there's a beautiful planet, blue sky, green leaves and sunshine. This is enough. I don't need anything else.
I decided that I would cling to nothing, possess nothing, and sacrifice everything for the sake of my principles. It was an easy thing to do.
I found myself in the company of evil people ... but who isn't evil in this world? Humans are universally horrible in their behavior. The only difference between the evil and everyone else is in the ability of the good to cloak their evil from the eyes of others.
Is there any such thing as a peaceful peace-loving human? I sifted through 6.7 billion souls and found none. But I cannot blame humankind for the species' lack of free will and destructive inclinations, no more than I can blame a mosquito for biting.
The great and only hope that I have is in Nature's ability to repair the damage humankind has inflicted on the planet.
There is life after humankind.

\Vhat kind of a nation disowns its own people? What kind of country decides that genius costs too much? That merit does not hold much water and thal caste is the only and sole criteria to judge everything? Ruddy turnstones & willets. This is the sort of beauty which I must contend with on a daily basis. The struggle cannot be won since an entire Universe must contain an overwhelming, infinite, inexhaustible supply of beauty on a daily basis.
It is quite a task to live in a perpetual state of dialogue with the Universe & Nature & All-Life, but this is too important a job to leave in God's hands especially since God is absent from the Universe and God has excused His absence by means of God's nonexistence.
God says, "I'd do so many things if I existed that I wouldn't have even a second left over to waste on the human species. Whoever blamed humankind's existence upon God was the ultimate blasphemer. But God's ability to punish blasphemers is quite limited given that nonexistence compels inactivity and punishment is therefore a form of activity forbidden to God."
In saving God from humankind I've saved humankind from God. Unfortunately it is the laws of physics which will punish the human species and those particular laws cannot ever be violated, overturned or avoided.
Heterosexual masculinity has often seemed to me a great renunciation, a repudiation not only of the myriad things that men are not supposed to like, but even a plethora of things that they are not supposed even to notice. Many of the gay men I knew noticed, and one of the pleasures of conversation with gay friends was an acute awareness of emotional, aesthetic, and political phenomena, an ability to weigh minute things and evaluate nuances and fine degrees of differentiation.
These men knew that words could be festive, recreational, medicinal, that banter and flirtation and extravagance, that humor and wryness and anecdotes of the absurd were pleasures worth pursuing. They knew that talk wasn’t, as many straight men seemed to assume, just transactional, a way to dump or extract information or instructions. It could be play, riffing on ideas and tones; it could give encouragement and affection; and it could invite people to be themselves and to know themselves in order to be known. There were so many kinds of love at work: the love of vivid and exact description, which was sometimes poetic, sometimes skewering wit, sometimes deep insight, and of exchanges that wove connections between speakers and ideas.
Recollections of My Nonexistence :: by Rebecca Solnit
Beneath the whistling breeze brushing the crowns of the saplings, the brooklet plunges into a jagged abyss, dissipating in the blink of an eye into nonexistence. Asphyxiated, the streamlet’s tears swiftly emerge to pursue the incessant expedition ahead. The aquifer escorting the ensconced passage into the unknown void. The topiary lingers, besetting overhead the blissful continuance of the essence nether. Fowls clamor aloft erratically, invariably regaling a nuanced liaise. All confederates of the trifecta in harmony, singing a captivating psalm to facilitate the daybreak's smoggy fumes throughout the bitter autumn basin.
By western standards Japanese cities are extremely concentrated and none more so than the capital, Tokyo. (pictured here)
Tokyo accounts for a fifth of the national economy. The cities are crowded but successful. When Scott Ridley was looking for his vision of Los Angeles in the late 21st century, it was….
i was going to take an actual picture that would represent how i'm feeling, but I don't know how to show the desire of nonexistence without just being point blank about it. this is what i ended up with

Also it is bushido loyalty that has led to the Japanese overworking. This is 9.00pm in a Tokyo tower office. There is even a word for death from overworking in Japanese - karoshi. Bushido may now be viewed only as an individual trait rather than one of society as a whole.

Eh, another early bird.
Yesterday, I rummaged round on no slumber nor rest at all, jotting down thoughts and smoking the shorts of cigarettes into nonexistence. At five, Christian made his way to my door step and we, together went to visit Bee for quite some time, which was needed. It was lovely.
I was in need of a day like this one.
But anywho - today - I am scheduled to meet a girl named Maddie, whom I have exceptionally idolized for quite some time now. She is a brilliant writer and artist and I could simply envy of her no more than I do here, at this moment. I do hope time and luck has my backside for the day, because I would be horridly disappointed if plans had to be broken in halves.
If you are interested in reading of her yourself: one-canary.xanga.com/
Or if you are interested in perceiving some of her art: th3spacebetween.deviantart.com/
Trust me, she is truly sensational.

Debate games at belly palace--while geeking out on twitter.
Simple rules, when the following terms are mentioned in the debate, it's one drink (or more as noted):
1. Washington outsider
2. Alaska
3. Palin talks in circles--1 drink for everytime someone says "wtf?!?" and another drink for each time the question has to be repeated
4. Anytime the effects of man on the environment were minimized (1 drink) or claimed to be nonexistence (2 drinks)
5. Each time Biden referred to himself in the third person
6. Drill baby drill
7. "Clean" coal
8. Surge (this one had to be removed to keep the bottle from being emptied too early)9. "Ummmmm..."
10. Says a world leader's name even approximately correctly (1 drink), says a world leader's name incorrectly (2 drinks)
11. "As for..."
12. "Such as..."
13. Wasilla
14. Maverick (like #8 above, we had to eliminate this one early on)
----and my favorites of the evening----
15. O'Biden (and yes, she said it more than once...)16. "he is the man we need to leave...lead" (Palin on McCain)
It’s the same story with the car industry. Cheap pale imitations just got better and better until Japan was ready to become a global player.

Recollections of My Nonexistence ... Rebecca Solnit
Tokyo is the richest city in the world. It has to be to cope with typhoons, earthquakes, flooding and subsidence. It’s transport system is a miracle. Eg the train services operate on a narrow gauge that the rest of the world’s railways would not take seriously and yet they carry the world’s greatest commuter volumes at astonishing frequency and with total reliability. (Above all, they are clean – there is no litter problem on their trains.)
And so faith is closing your eyes and following the breath of your soul down to the bottom of life, where existence and nonexistence have merged into irrelevance. All that matters is the little part you play in the vast drama.

Today's youth know that science is modern and that God is an old belief. Science is a belief that many other educated children also believe. They claim science can't prove God's existence and that God doesn’t exist. They forget that science cannot prove the nonexistence of God. Modernity doesn't mean one should forget their culture or customs.
The youth of today, especially those from developed countries, have all the amenities of modern life. They are glued to their phones, spend most of the time at parties, and can easily access whatever they need. They don't understand the meaning of life. They may have fun, but they lack inner peace. They are sexy from the outside, but they are fragile from the inside. It isn't always easy. These people are likely to fall when they face difficult times in life. Only God can give us the strength, faith, and resilience to overcome difficult times and make it through life happy and successful.
Who is the God who can grant us all of this? There is no one. God isn't the name of one person. God is not necessarily a divine being. God is merely a representation for our belief and supreme understanding. People who give us hope for good times and the ability to handle difficult times are people we will worship or respect. Only by believing in God can some people, even those with the lowest incomes, be happy while others are anxious and suffer from depression. Believing in God brings us peace of heart and helps us to appreciate the true worth of life.
Human relationships in Japan can be classified into vertical and horizontal hierarchies. The vertical includes relationships between parents and their children, while the horizontal involves classmates or colleagues. In Japanese society vertical rankings of human relationships have developed to a great extent and a seniority system is prevalent in Japan.
Roger Davies and Osamu Ikeno believe that the vertical rankings are the most important groupings. I’m not so sure as it is horizontal rankings which appear to dominate the social landscape.
The metaphor of the window on Japan can be developed. This slide is like a flashcard - reminding the students of stereotypical images of Japan which they have already come across either in or out of school.
Japan deliberately chose to adopt some of the attitudes and skills of the advanced economic powers of the West, while retaining her independence as well as much of her cultural identity. In other words Japan was choosey about what was adopted and incorporated into its culture. Japan’s urbanisation eventually ended up with a very distinctive Japanese character. At the same time Japan also clung on to its traditions and heritage.
"Spectral Resonance" captures the stark contrast between the finality of death and the exuberance of life. This ai-generated artwork features a haunting skull enveloped by an explosion of vibrant splashes, symbolizing the burst of energy that is life against the void of nonexistence. The dynamic interplay of colors set against the dark background evokes a sense of the cosmic dance between creation and destruction.
The sand dune is in full bloom. God looks down from Heaven with envy. God says, "Abandoning the Garden of Eden to Adam & Eve was a mistake, was stupid, was foolish, and represents the failure of the God idea altogether."
I ask God, "Would you care to talk about the rest of your behavior and advice since then?"
God refused to speak. God was too ashamed to answer for His history.
God's failure was so complete that God had no choice except to adopt atheism and accept nonexistence as a sufficient explanation for the failure of both God and religion and the human species and His billions of misguided followers who happened to destroy the Earth while dreaming of eternal life in Heaven.
God's final words: "Jesus Christ might have died on the cross but God certainly died on the Sixth Day of creation."
The spider and the flowers exist only momentarily. They need not waste any time worrying about either death or immortality or nonexistence. For them mere existence is enough.
If you spent your life hoping for Heaven and then discovered that there is no afterlife ... oh well, the nonexistent are never disappointed.
Those people who believe in Heaven are all certain that they rank among the fortunate few who will eventually spend eternity with the righteous. Those people who believe in Hell are always very certain that everyone else belongs there and they won't suffer eternal torment.
In the long run it is most likely that there isn't either a Heaven or a Hell. Seriously, if you were God would you choose to spend eternity in a city filled with human souls? Come on ... not even humans can endure living with humankind.
If there is no hope of Heaven and no threat of Hell it really doesn't matter ... these empty promises and threats didn't stop Christians from fighting wars and committing genocide all across the globe.
Who is going to teach peace to humankind?
A number of factors led to this picture. A number of friendships are near the point of nonexistence, the fact that I don't have a job and no prospects are visible and stories from others facing the same dilemma as me really got to me this morning. Headache, dreariness all over my body and warning signs of getting sick permeated my very being. Hell I even lost my camera bag for a while when I left it here at this park.
Well I'm feeling a little better as I'm writing this. I managed to talk about everything from friends from the Abbey and I thankfully recovered my camera bag which was turned over to a nearby government office. But that dark cloud still hangs over my head ready to sweep me away in a flood. I can only hope this ends soon.
By the time of Japan’s entry into the second world war, it was bravado rather than bushido which was the real driving force. The spirit of bushido is very difficult to find today, but some characteristics still can be found in the martial and aesthetic arts.
Also it is bushido loyalty that has led to the Japanese overworking, which sometimes ends in death (karoshi). Bushido may now be viewed only as an individual trait rather than one of society as a whole.
