And so faith is closing your eyes and following the breath of your soul down to the bottom of life, where existence and nonexistence have merged into irrelevance. All that matters is the little part you play in the vast drama.

Silent Knight, 2015

Ekow Nimako - Toronto, Ontario

Sculpture

Sculpted with more than 50,000 LEGO® pieces, Silent Knight is visual artist Ekow Nimako's monumental tribute to one of the most admired and extirpated animal species in Ontario: the barn owl.

The stark white, larger-than-life sculpture captures the beauty and stealth of this exquisite bird like it has never been seen before. Relying on the seemingly infinite variations of sloped and angled LEGO® pieces, Nimako masterfully animates the inanimate, breathing a unique quality of life into the popular plastic medium.

The outdoor platform of the Gardiner Museum sets the stage for Silent Knight, simultaneously forging the tactile link between ceramics and LEGO®, while animal extinction for human gain remains a significant concept that "will also be explored in the museum's exhibition Kent Monkman: The Rise and Fall of Civilization opening on October 15, 2015."

"I've always admired barn owls as silent-winged keepers of the night – unique in their helmed visage even among other owls, yet for years they have been endangered in Ontario due to urbanization and loss of habitat. So if I can add them to the collective memory of the masses for even one night, it may cause a shift in consciousness to help draw these magical creatures back from the brink of local nonexistence." – Ekow Nimako

Ekow Nimako was born in Montreal, Canada and studied Fine Arts at York University in Toronto. An avid builder since childhood, Ekow's first LEGO® installation, AVIARAGEDDON, depicted over thirty species of weaponized birds in flight as a commentary on war culture and its link to species endangerment. His current exhibition, BUILDING BLACK, investigates the complexities of black identity with artworks that draw from various racial, historical, and folkloric narratives. He lives and works in Toronto, Canada.

Half Moon Island, Antarctica.

As I was getting ready to board one of the Zodiacs, knowing that I was about to leave Antarctica, a place I would not be returning to anytime soon, I had to stop for a minute and take several shots of this scene.

This scene speaks volumes to me. I had the exact same feeling that I did a few days previously at Port Lockroy, when I saw the scene in the first comment below and took a picture of it.

Here is a colony of life forms. They exist, they have a certain level of intelligence, primitive as it might be, they communicate, they they take care of their young, they enjoy pleasures and suffer pain, they are born, they live, they die, and they perpetuate their species. This is their land.

Yet, they are oblivious to the signs of a much higher level of intelligence that is all around them. In the humans who visit their land, or the things that we have left behind on their land. They are just utterly clueless about these things. The boat above, or the flag below, and the humans who come and go, are far, far beyond their comprehension.

OK, so how is this any different from all the lower level life forms that we see every day in our daily lives? Cats, dogs, crows, cows, sheep, pigs, eagles, sparrows, and a thousand other animals, birds, reptiles, fish, etc.? They aren't any smarter than these penguins either.

Yes, that's true, of course. But the Antarctica is one of those handful of places on earth where it really feels like another planet. These penguins are as close as I will ever likely to get to seeing life on another planet. So that provides a little different context than seeing a dog or a cat back home.

So the intriguing philosophical question is, are there life forms in the universe whose intelligence is as far above us, as humans are above penguins? Or above chimpanzees or dolphins, which are supposed to be the next most intelligent life on earth after humans?

If so, if they were present here, right now, in our very midst, do we have any more capacity to comprehend them, than these penguins do to comprehend us? If they come and go as they please, or have their technologies and artifacts all around us, would we have any idea?

Do we even have the vocabulary to describe a higher form of intelligence any better than these penguins could describe the man-made objects they see? Are the messiahs, prophets and god men and women over the centuries who have claimed they have communicated with a higher form of intelligence any more credible than one of these penguins trying to rule over the others by claiming to understand and represent humans?

Are we, the most intelligent form of life on this planet, doomed to live a life of ignorance in the matter of comprehending life forms that are so far more intelligent than us that we don't even have the vocabulary to discuss them?!

When it comes to the penguins or any of the other lower levels of intelligence on earth, we simply don't know what they are thinking. We can guess a dog is happy or sad, or hungry, or wants to go for a walk, or the feelings of one animal towards another. But beyond those basic feelings, we really don't know what a dog or a chimp or a dolphin might be thinking. They don't have a way of articulating what they are thinking, and we don't have a way of understanding what is not articulated.

But at least, humans have the ability to articulate our thoughts. if there are intelligent life forms above us, I wonder if they are paying any attention to any of what we say, even if we are incredibly primitive by their standards.

If there is a more intelligent life form in the universe that has just chances upon my rant here, could you take pity on this primitive life form, and kindly throw me a bone, just to satisfy my curiosity that there is a higher form of intelligence in the universe somewhere?

Nothing fancy, something very trivial would do...

For instance:

Just explain to me please, how a rational number like the diameter of a circle could result in an irrational number for its circumference? Or a rational number for the circumference of a circle result in an irrational number for its diameter? How can a real object that we can see and handle have a dimension with an irrational value? How could this be physically possible?

Or explain to me the physical process of quantum tunneling by electrons, not the mathematical equation that drives it.

Or why space exists, how far does it go, and what is beyond it? What is the nonexistence of space?

Is time linear? During The Big Crunch, did time at t < 0 converge to t = 0 at The Big Bang in a way that was a mirror image of t > 0 after The Big Bang?

Were there one or more prior universes before The Big Bang?

Is there an absolute center to the universe?

Is there a universal homing beacon that actuates all life form in some way?

Is there anything absolute in the universe, period?!

Is Planck's Constant really a constant?

Why do we exist? Why does anything exist?

If the entire Universe was a Delta function of energy squeezed into dimensions smaller than a subatomic particle, then where did that energy come from? By what process did it build up to the Delta function that led to The Big Bang?

How did energy come into existence?

What is intelligence? We are individually intelligent, but is there a collective intelligence? Is there intelligence to migrating birds, or other colonies of lower life forms that instinctively do certain things, with no possible logical explanation? Does the human species or all other life form on this planet collectively have an intelligence? Does our intelligence somehow plug into a higher, universal intelligence?

Do we simply attribute everything to one unknown we can conveniently refer to as God? If there is a God who is that highest intelligence in the universe, even more intelligent than any other life forms that might be more intelligent than humans, why can't God clarify everything with one TV message on one day, in every country, in every language, so we don't need to take the word of self-appointed holy men and women who are no more intelligent than us, but with the audacity to claim they have received a message from God? Surely, God can cut these middlemen and women out and directly communicate?

On a personal note, do I believe in God? I don't know. I am not an atheist who denies the existence of a God. But I also think only infinite arrogance can lead me to think we are the most intelligent sentient beings in the universe. There must be levels of intelligence far beyond us. Perhaps there is a pyramid of intelligence that eventually ends with one supremely intelligent being.

And if there is such a being, and if we want to refer to him / her / it with the God handle, so be it. Perhaps this God was solely responsible for creating the universe, or at least knows how the universe was created. If that were not so, it would mean God appeared after creation of the universe, which would mean there was an even bigger power in nature, which makes no sense!

So I am open to the concept of one or more supreme beings at the top of the hierarchy of intelligence, referred to as God or Gods. And I think this God must be more good than evil, simply because God created something, as a result of which I exist, and in general, creation is driven more by goodness than badness. Yes, there are evil people who create things for destructive purposes, but most of creation by humans is for positive reasons, to make things better and to help others. Perhaps this attribute transcends levels of intelligence.

So I can accept the existence of a God and I also believe God is beneficial by virtue of God's propensity to create. But I don't accept God as one absolute ruler with a set of rules and laws that everyone must obey, thereby reaping rewards for good deeds or punishments for sins, and everything is predetermined. I think in life, there are only actions and consequences.

I also can't accept other humans who have declared themselves to be agents and representatives of God, and tell me what I must do. For reasons enumerated above, I know I or any other human being could possibly begin to comprehend God. But I have the faith that we can all emulate God in a microscopic way by creating, for the purpose of helping and uplifting others, while being respectful of nature and other things in nature.

One interesting consideration is, creation also necessarily involves destruction. Something can only be created if something else is destroyed. Everything in nature has a birth, growth, maturity, decline and eventually, death or an end of some sort. That is the cycle for life forms, societies, companies and stock markets, entire civilizations, and so forth, all the way to stars and galaxies, and perhaps universes.

The Hindu faith, which is probably over 11,000 years old, is based on a trinity of three entities, Brahma a creator, Vishnu a protector and nurturer, and Shiva, a destroyer, with Brahma the one single supreme being. People speculate that Abraham and Sarah are names derived from Brahma and his mythological consort, Saraswati. Who knows?

The Nasadiya Sukta (pronounced "naa-sa-dee-ya sook-ta"), a brief set of verses from the Rg Veda, is probably the crux of all of Hinduism and Hindu philosophy. It begins with a comment that in the beginning, there was neither existence nor nonexistence. It ends with this verse:

Whence all creation had its origin,

the creator, whether he fashioned it or whether he did not,

the ultimate being who surveys it all from ultimate perspective,

he knows — or maybe even he does not know.

(with a couple of refinements I have made to the translation provided in Wikipedia).

That summarizes my concept of God. So I go about my life appreciating the process of creation and marvel at our ability to create, and I try to create where I can in my own little way. We are all micro Gods in our own way, making decisions that impact others and nature. So I have one guiding principle: Do Something Good. Not because there may be a God watching me or I might get a reward or punishment handed to me, but because the journey is its own reward.

… I am asked here what I’m doing? Am I sketching? To me, I’m thinking and the above’s uncertain status makes it less an impediment. Confusions of other’s- how are they helpful when one’s attempting to bring something across that border between existence and nonexistence?

Three inseparable words from the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial in San Francisco's Yerba Buena Gardens:

"An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity."

"I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality."

"There is nothing in all the world greater than freedom. It is worth paying for; it is worth going to jail for. I would rather die in abject poverty with my convictions than live in inordinate riches with the lack of self-respect."

I've Been To The Mountaintop

MLK's final speech given April 3, 1968 at Mason Temple in Memphis, TN, the night before he was assassinated.

"...Men, for years now, have been talking about war and peace. But now, no longer can they just talk about it. It is no longer a choice between violence and nonviolence in this world; it's nonviolence or nonexistence...."

Part 1

Part 2

The thin clouds of the morning slowly dissolving in response to the heat of the sun. The clouds wonder, "If I formed at night and dissolve moments after sunrise, what's the purpose of my life? What great thing can I accomplish in such a short amount of time? I don't even exist long enough to drop some rain on the ground."

I comfort the clouds with the message, "Look, clouds, as meaningless as existence seems to you, it is infinitely more meaningless and purposeless and futile to the humans who happen to craw across this Earth mourning their existence perpetually and never able to attain peace or accomplish anything in spite of existing for decades. The humans who work the hardest and accomplish the most destroy the Earth and have a net negative impact upon the Universe regardless of how they might be honored by society and receive large paychecks for their effort."

The clouds responded, "Now I'm depressed on humankind's behalf. Thank you, sun, for sending us directly to nonexistence. We may not have dropped any rain on the ground but at least we haven't destroyed the only living planet in the Universe."

"Sometimes, you are amazed by my greatness, but sometimes, you forget about me and you get bored by my bleak nonexistence. This is to remind you that I am here, and that I will never go silent." - Bong Yu

I've been reading more these day, mostly memoirs. I highly recommend Liz Phair's new book Horror Stories and Rebecca Solnit's memoir Recollections of My Nonexistence. Each is a remarkably gifted writer and they have created insightful and moving works. This image is of the next book on my list, the Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov.

“The true explanation of this subject is very difficult.

Know that beings are of two kinds: material and spiritual, those perceptible to the senses and those intellectual.

Things which are sensible are those which are perceived by the five exterior senses;

thus those outward existences which the eyes see are called sensible.

Intellectual things are those which have no outward existence but are conceptions of the mind.

For example, mind itself is an intellectual thing which has no outward existence.

All man’s characteristics and qualities form an intellectual existence and are not sensible.

Briefly, the intellectual realities, such as all the qualities and admirable perfections of man,

are purely good, and exist.

Evil is simply their nonexistence. So ignorance is the want of knowledge; error is the want of guidance; forgetfulness is the want of memory; stupidity is the want of good sense.

All these things have no real existence.

In the same way, the sensible realities are absolutely good, and evil is due to their nonexistence—that is to say, blindness is the want of sight, deafness is the want of hearing, poverty is the want of wealth, illness is the want of health, death is the want of life, and weakness is the want of strength.

Nevertheless a doubt occurs to the mind—that is, scorpions and serpents are poisonous.

Are they good or evil, for they are existing beings?

Yes, a scorpion is evil in relation to man; a serpent is evil in relation to man;

but in relation to themselves they are not evil, for their poison is their weapon, and by their sting they defend themselves. But as the elements of their poison do not agree with our elements—that is to say, as there is antagonism between these different elements, therefore, this antagonism is evil; but in reality as regards themselves they are good.

The epitome of this discourse is that it is possible that one thing in relation to another may be evil,

and at the same time within the limits of its proper being it may not be evil.

Then it is proved that there is no evil in existence; all that God created He created good.

This evil is nothingness; so death is the absence of life. When man no longer receives life, he dies. Darkness is the absence of light: when there is no light, there is darkness.

Light is an existing thing, but darkness is nonexistent.

Wealth is an existing thing, but poverty is nonexisting.

Then it is evident that all evils return to nonexistence.

Good exists; evil is nonexistent.

“The feelings that hurt most, the emotions that sting most, are those that are absurd; the longing for impossible things, precisely because they are impossible; nostalgia for what never was; the desire for what could have been; regret over not being someone else; dissatisfaction with the world’s existence. All these half-tones of the soul’s consciousness create in us a painful landscape, an eternal sunset of what we are.”

- Fernando Pessoa

A left of field look at the extermination of aboriginal or indigenous woman. The genocide of their genetics, their culture, and its extended application to the extermination of the woman of the west, and their genocide. A look into the meta data of a Canadian genocide in progress, and its reflection on the USA, and the west. Looking at statistically applied genocide again, using an analysis of meta data, and gross numbers, with a good dose of just join the dots, thrown in for good measure.

Number for number, the extermination of woman is the most effective way to galvanise genocide, within a group or population. Either via VD (venereal disease), social engineering, or otherwise… The murder of female blood lines, via sterilization using germ warfare and social engineering, is and has been extraordinarily effective. The effectiveness relies on three major points, one, a woman getting VD that terminates her ability to have children, the second is that since an in-utero baby and or non-conceived foetus is classified as not human yet, there can be no charge of murder, and the third point is, that a woman who chooses a childless existence after indoctrination are seen to be exerting her own free will, in a process of self-determination.

How would I know, or have a right to comment? At one stage I was approached to work in the Biosecurity facility in Victoria, Australia, an offer I declined. Why head hunt me? I had been doing theorisation at university on the logic patterns for treatments and curing of HIV, as a 19-year-old, it must have resonated with someone, for them to send someone to the university to see me. So, no, I am not some uneducated crack pot conspiracy theorist, and I hate to shatter some people’s little world or bubble, but people work at this type of horrid work both in defence and offence all the time. The other reason I am commenting is, I went behind, what some would call enemy lines, into the Arts humanities and observed firsthand, racist, and sexist indoctrination, of people just outside of their childhood. No, it should not have been seen as enemy lines or so I thought, as I am a feminist. But the level of misandry for white males was quite profound, and ironically misogynist behaviour conducted by females was quite shocking. Additionally, I feel at liberty to write, as I have studied and written about genocide at university.

So let’s get into it. Why murder or sterilize aboriginal or indigenous woman? One of the things I looked at was that men can impregnate hundreds in a lifetime, but a woman’s uterus is only so capable, it is in fact highly limited. I observed through finger printing or meta data and extrapolation that some abhorrent groups males and or females, are doing maths on how many women do they need to kill of aboriginal decent, before they get rid of all those that can be considered aboriginal. Why would someone or a group do something so horrible? This scenario will greatly aid foreign interests in the taking of countries like Australia and the Americas, in the future.

We are going to have a little look at a field of study that for some is unfortunately very large, and for some is a horrifically very creative field of endeavour, so my considerations and observations will be limited in scope, to keep this writing manageable.

My considerations of indigenous genocide raised many questions such as. Does giving up your land coincide or correlate with a reduction in a woman’s chance of genocide or an increase? And if so in either case why? If a woman will give up her uterus to outsiders, does she suffer a lower rate of genocide, or is it more? The techno YouTube hit by The Halluci Nation “Burn your village to the ground” help make me ponder similar questions, here is a link to the YouTube video www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNi__fnadTM&list=WL&index=82 It can be argued between warriors and wise men about the process of colonisation, its effect, and the motives for that colonization other than, the at times, murderous acquisition of land. But when it comes to the act of murderous colonisation, its effectiveness is amplified to an accelerated final solution of sorts. When you exterminate a woman’s genetics with the eradication of their unborn babies or foetuses before they are even conceived, it leaves no legal recourse. Murdering woman, and sterilizing them are potent weapons, when performing the act of genocide. When woman are used as breeding vessels, for foreign genetics, or sterilized via VD (venereal disease), or sterilized with anti-feminist dogma masquerading as feminist mantras, the result is a loss of land and resources. Before I go further, I will go on the record, that I have no issues with mixed race relationships, as I have been in a few. I have always found them enlightening, and culturally enriching, and it is my sincere hope that those relationships were mutually beneficial.

The relatively recent insertion into humanity and the debate about the purity of races goes back to a period most of us but not all of us wish had not happened, the second world war. And unusually it was a conundrum for those that argued it, and what would be the future outcomes in the west, if it had of been achieved globally. It presented a legal consideration that I have identified, and its possible application for many indigenous, and their extended families. In one respect it is not a complex one and is unusually of benefit to all nations who have an indigenous culture and or peoples. Provided an indigenous cultures and peoples still exist, it can be argued that under international law the west has a failsafe or caveat for future attempts of colonization via foreign powers. ie. if someone comes to our countries with colonialist intent trying to divide the tribes as it where, and says we, as in those considered nonindigenous have no write to be here, and that we, whoever we are, or may be have stolen the land, we politely ask our indigenous relatives, some of which need to be overtly aboriginal, to tell them to go away. They then say these are my blood relatives and this is not your land to comment on. For the new world order colonist, it is a slap in the face, and they are left eating their own words. It is a polite conversation, one that should end the colonialist’s verbal pursuit in its tracks, and it can only go further, if that foreign power, turns to violence, or a forced acquisition of the land through murder and or subjugation. It is simple legally, but a big ask emotionally, and politically, for all the family’s involved. As members of our families have murdered, other members of our families, and stolen land from them. It is like a doom’s day sentence of language, to get out of hell, one that relies on forgiveness, but not forgetting our at times horrific past. This approach helps failsafe against future forced or coerced loss of land. It was a principle based on a piece of mathematics an Australian soldier did on the synchronisation of fireflies’ flashes, and was popularised by the movie six degrees of separation. I just applied it to our families in OZ and the US when it came to the connections between blood relatives that are aboriginal or indigenous, and the rest of us, instead of social connections as was depicted in the original piece of math.

Although the theft of land and unhonored treaties is without question a horrific tragedy, and for some it is a Rorschach ink blot and not a legal contract, it presents us as in those in the west of all descriptions and spiritualties a means of great opportunity to stifle New World Order colonialist colonization of our shared family land. Regardless of race, if no one tries to politically capitalise on the process of the recognition of our family as a nation, and go outside of genuine good will, it is an utterly profound, legal, and social statement. Essentially it aids countries in the west like Australia and the US. Nations essentially made up of family, a family that includes aboriginal natives and or the indigenous. Like it or not. This legal consideration led me to consider if I could see this benefit as an individual, maybe, think tanks full of psychopaths brighter than me, who are hell bent on the acquisition of our land could too. And thus, we, or at least me, can see a motive for modern day colonialist destabilization of the west, along race, and spirituality lines, one that ends in a process of genocide. This scenario has been publicly debated and raised in a myriad of fashions, on a myriad of platforms, so my interpretation is just and extension of that open discourse. The dark part to the consideration is as far as I can statistically observe, though meta data, is it has resulted in current day murder or genocide, of aboriginal people, and their mixed-race relatives, who are bridges between the different races or family groups of people.

The extermination of woman and that process’s ability to kill nations is unquestionable. The question is not are they trying to kill off huge sections of the West’s population, as that is both a measurable and an observable given, the question is, is it non-discriminatory population control, or is it just straight-out genocide of targeted groups in the west? Meta data leads me to believe it is a statistical driven or targeted genocide. But who started it, and who perpetrates it now. Was this a process of neo feminism or woman’s science, to exterminate the uteruses, ovaries, and fallopian tubes of childbearing persons, or as they were historically called woman? Had they, whoever they are, othered people, until a state sanctioned and funded enterprise was created? Producing a sociological statistically driven apparatus to perpetrate genocide. There is no more effective way to terminate a culture than kill off its woman or sterilize them on mass, especially when their numbers are low to begin with. Why sterilize and neuter the woman? Because I presume, they have found out that murdering children is not well looked upon! You don’t have to kill the babies and children if they are not conceived. Sexually transmitted disease, and progressive ideology, have done an amazing job at exterminating female blood lines in the west, a highly ironic event for some feminists to learn, but not for this one to observe. How did I come up with this hypothesis, I extrapolated from Margret Sanger’s work. Margret Sangers work would and has enable mass baby elimination. Later others would extend on her eugenics train of thought in the west, and it would become adult murder as people went down the slippery slope of euthanasia, to the outright murder of healthy adults, via public health care, or a state sponsored system. From her work, she would go onto produce a statistically targeting medical industrial complex apparatus, that would extinguish or kill millions of unborn or not yet conceived foetuses, or as they were historically called babies. Her work was aided with the use of group speak and group think. In what could only be described as a state funded and sanctioned genocidal murder machine. Her ability and desire to exterminate the existence of black foetuses, historically called babies by some, is legendary on the net, and a little look into her motives should leave the hairs on every black, or mixed-race woman, on the planet standing on end. With her revealing in a letter, that and to quote, “We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population..." in a Letter to Dr. Clarence J. Gamble, December 10, 1939, p. 2

How prophetic it was that at 4:48 in the YouTube techno hit, “Burn your village to the ground” by The Halluci Nation, a man says, and to quote, “…they have to kill us, they have to kill us, because they can’t break our spirit…” that man was John Trudell. Here is a link to that YouTube music video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNi__fnadTM (Please note, there are graphic depictions of genocide, or mass murder shown, and it can be argued that those images should be viewed by adults only, or at least by a mature audience under supervision, and with wise adult guidance). When I first heard him say this, I was genuinely shocked, but on consideration, and with a little look at what happened to the indigenous around the world… I believe he had full, and firsthand knowledge, of the situation at hand. Looking at what Margeret Sanger had planned for black Americans, I can only concur with Trudell. And after a few months of letting it sink in, I had concluded my contemplation on what he had said, and, although still being shocked or confronted by his words, what he said I concluded in his short sentence, was utterly, and profoundly, true.

I like to do extrapolations both mathematical, and all manner of types of correlation and causations within my capabilities, because they generate subsequent considerations of interest in me. To trigger a few people, I do my own research. When I come across things that interest me, and I become inquisitive about things I deem as important, I look further. I had a look at what Mr Trudell said and its application and or implications to other groups of Americans, Black and White. It seemed almost like a dogma being applied currently on many fronts for all Americans, regardless of race, due to their resilience and adaptability. It had been tried before openly, and in wide open public view on the indigenous Americans and the black Americans. Whoever they are, seems to have just kept on going, finding new methods, and new groups, to apply genocide to, for the process to continue. That process is measurable, and identifiable genocide.

Part of the webster definition of what is an American, is and to quote “...a native or inhabitant of North America or South America…”. For me at least the key word is native, and the question it raises in me, is when and who does this apply to, or where does it start and end? Is it all Americans? I have written about writing from a distance about America in isolation here in Australia, and how sometimes it is beneficial. I can write in hindsight, unincumbered by the pressure to respond instantly to events, and it is especially advantages when contemplating the differences and similarities between Australia and the US. I concur and extend on John Trudell, the American, and or, its native or American spirit cannot be exterminated, someone is going to have to kill the owners of it, if they want to overthrow America. So, they, whoever they are, are giving it a good shot. Mr Trudell nailed it. Whoever is perpetrating genocide in the west and killing off Americans or “…we the people… “is doing it, because their spirit cannot be quashed. It should be noted that they are not discriminating on race now, when it comes to who they kill, as they are now killing blacks, whites, and natives, in what appears to be a demographically selective process. Boy have they been busy and gotten to work.

Previously the killing of the west could not be accomplished externally, so lest all thank the American military industrial complex for that. It could only be destroyed from within, but that is not the case anymore. How do they exterminate the people of the Americas, North and South. Via their own hands and words. The elephant in the room is, who could now move Americans against Americans and who are they? It is not a question of if it is happening, it is a question of who is doing it, and how are they manipulating the people, as in “…we the people…”, to be complicit, in such a diabolical series of events. A series of events, that have ended, and end, in Americans murdering other Americans. And where on further observation in the west, westerners now murder each other, for their own perceived safety and good?

Is Germ warfare being used on our own people? It is a horrible question, but I am going to ask it anyway. And I am going to have a look at the water shed moment of the 60s sexual revolution. The 60s saw the spread of enough VD to kill millions of US and western children or babies before they were born regardless of race. Yes, I just approached the where does life begin paradigm, or the conundrum, and found genocide. Ironically it is not murder under the now common definitions of group think, and group speak. Genocide has been rebranded as sexual liberation and not statistical sterilization, ending, and or, enabling genocide. Doubly ironic, is it effected the intellectuals mostly, in the summer of love. Latter it would spread through their use of drugs and the indoctrination of their children into an orgy of mass fornication. The whole process was aided by drugs that promoted hyper sexualization of the liberal left. From there it was a domino effect to the greater number, but less educated, and more religious, lower socioeconomic groups, essentially encompassing “…we the people…” Raising the question, who needs smallpox infested blankets to murder the Americans regardless of their race, when you can get them to hump themselves into a disease riddled oblivion? Martin Niemöller is utterly quotable in this instance, and a read of his most prophetic statement or poem can be a source of inspiration and insight for many, in my belief. It leaves you asking the question who are they, or who were they? It was a question posed by this very wise man, and interestingly he never directly says who they are.

This is his poem.

First, they came for the Communists

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Communist

Then they came for the Socialists

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Socialist

Then they came for the trade unionists

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the Jews

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Jew

Then they came for me

And there was no one left

To speak out for me

Looking at the American indigenous. First, they came for the warriors regardless of colour creed or denomination, taking their guns. They then came for the religious or spiritual people and tried to exterminate those religious or spiritual people. They tried in vain to destroy their beliefs and teachings. Then they went after the woman and children. When that wasn’t aloud, they then got the woman and children to go after themselves, in an act of induced insanity. Like Martin Niemöller, I cannot identify the instigators, but I can see their effect. To insert some black humour, and in general I was never a fan of the show, this seen in the Simpsons, can be viewed www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFCgz959ARY. Just imagine, visualize, think, or insert different groups of Americans into the Simpsons family’s seats. Kind of like the Milgram experiment, on satirical steroids. Here is a wiki link to a description of the Milgram experiment en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milgram_ It was an experiment where people were duped into believing they were doing good when they were not. The university system may not have looked at this paper in a long while or forgotten it. But I have not forgotten the principle once it was introduced to me. Ironically the universities may have felt immune or above the results of the experiment. But they have become the perpetrators, or vector, for the very thing they said they were there to stop, ie. harm.

We can list, or go through massacre, after massacre, of people during the colonization of the Americas, but I will not. Instead, I will take a closer look at a small number of murdered people. At university in a subject dedicated to the topic of genocide, I looked at and wept, at the mass murder of my family, by other members of my family. The part that made me weep was the consideration of mathematics and physics related to the event, and the consideration that every life is of immeasurable and unquantifiable value. The consideration was done via the extended theorisation and analysis of a small number. I wept off and on for days at what I saw, as I came to grips with what had happened to my family, but despite that I will take another look here too.

By looking at what appears to be a small number of women and children that were wounded, but then died of their injuries. These woman and children were seen as subhuman, but were not, they were very human. Just what happened to them was inhuman. Those people are the 47 woman and children that died of their wounds during the massacre at Wounded Knee. Consideration of these woman and children produces some shocking and chilling considerations in maths, as to how many people their families would have produced today. I will qualify my statement before going on, by saying when I use the words small number, that it is in no way a reflection of the cost, suffering, and misery their slaughter would have caused. And I hope to show that that, relatively small number when amplified over time produces a horrific number, that no human should feel emotionally immune or isolated from. When considering this number, I looked at Shindler. Shindler was a German industrialist, here is a link to the wiki page, for the movie that immortalised him in the west, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schindler%27s_List Shindler had saved about 1200 jews from the German gas chambers of world war two, and today their descendants are in the order of 7000. With exponential population growth this number, and all things not considered, this relatively small number, should become a larger number over time with more babies. That number will or should increase exponentially to a point. And the mathematics of the dead and their progeny when time is considered infinite becomes a very large number. It is a flawed, and highly simplistic isolated theoretical look, at the growth of a population of people. But the consideration of large numbers can help a person, get a grasp of the potential magnitude, of an event, or events. A small number of humans in this case can become a large number over time.

Despite these acts of genocide being a war crime, that is commemorated for all to see, people have recently in the west committed two things on mass. One, the error in thought that it would not happen again, let alone in the west. And two, the error in hubris that it could not happen to them, and or, that they would be the perpetrators of that genocide. But it has happened on both counts with modern techniques. How did it happen so fast? The west has now become tribal under university or higher education teaching, and or the dogma, spread by the influence, of the pseudo intellectual left. The group taught on mass not to other, now others everyone they can. They the left, left us all wide open for a blindside of colonial techniques to be used on us, and thus they let it spread to the greater community, or “…we the people…” What causes it was selective outrage on genocide and selective outrage on sex-based abuses. It was compounded by the ignorance of not being able to see, that foreign actors would profit or capitalize from that selective outrage. As it turned out by pitting citizen against citizen, apparently, “…we the people of the west where not people…” “…with unalienable rights...” we were not “…one nation…” of “…indivisible…” people, we were not people “…with liberty and justice for all…”.” We the people” of western nations turned out instead to be a rabble. But I can only hope it is at least hopefully, for a transient period.

Part of the old tried and true processes of colonialism is othering. Essentially 101 of colonialism. To enable othering, first you find the tribes that had a history of conflict between each other. The example of wounded knee comes back into play in the discussion of othering. As not to be left out are serval relevant sociological points on othering can be found in the above incident at Wounded Knee. One is that people can be conditioned to consider some groups of people to be of so little value that you can murder them on mass, the other is that these people can be conditioned to kill woman and children in cold blood, then take their photos so as to celebrate the incident, as if what they had did was something wonderful. The MO, or modus operandi, of othering a person or group to murder was and is to stoke that fire, or conflict, between groups or tribes, give them weapons to fight each other, but not enough power to be independent. The result is thus, get the tribes to murder each other, while you sit by and profit from that murder. Essentially the first rule of colonial conquest as taught in class 101 of colonialism at university. Furthermore, get them to divulge secrets about the other tribes, so that those secrets, could be capitalized on, when it came to their subjugation, or murder. This type of selective outrage or outright genocidal hypocrisy generated by othering was very observable in the me to movement when it comes to their hypocrisy in the treatment of indigenous woman and the treatment of Judaeo Christian children or woman. Later it spread or come from the UN or United Nations. They othered what could essentially be described as white men in an indiscriminate, blatant contradiction empowered by absolute contempt for due process, a fundamental of the law. Harvey Weinstein sexualized female adults with psychological manipulation and went to jail for it, but the left or the me to movement seem to be silent when it comes to sexualization of children, and the manipulation of those children into performing sex acts by the pseudo intellectual left, for their social profit. In an almost parallel of Weinstein, they the left substituted adult woman for children and they did it on mass. It appears some females and children are worth more than others, and we are not all created equal before the law, or to be precise, at least under the new leftist pseudo morality.

They the leftists then applied themselves against the nations that they should have been there to protect, the ones that had subsidised or funded their educations, or indoctrination. Colonialism continues in different forms, through divide and conquer, and the lies used to achieve it are aided by psychological manipulation. Mark Twain wrote and to quote "The glory which is built upon a lie soon becomes a most unpleasant incumbrance. ... How easy it is to make people believe a lie, and how hard it is to undo that work again!" according to my copilot.

Another case I found of great interest was the disappearance of, or the outright murder, or worse of 174 Canadian indigenous women, who have just vanished into thin air. It got some air play but didn’t seem to draw much worldwide scrutiny and even less critical thought from the international white left and right, especially when compared to other more recent but smaller white atheist tragedies, like the misgendering of children. All they the left seemed to do, was politized the horror story for media exploitation, while doing nothing, not to mention not report their potential proactive role in the process, that caused those women to be vanished into thin air. It did not end there as running parallel to these disappearances was the political move by the Canadian left to reintroduced and rebirth past atrocities from Canadian history. How did they do it? They did it with the aid of the modern-day arts humanity’s faculty. Somehow, despite all the waffling talk, and the best efforts of everyone, they managed to reconstruct the effects and processes of Canadian residential schools.

Like in Macbeth, the bloody hands cannot be washed clean, and it just seems to keep on cascading further out of control, and deeper into madness. We have an expression here in Australia and it is called a shit stain, in this case the abuse of woman and children is an utter shit stain on humanity that will and would not go away. Canada should not feel alone as here in the land of OZ, non-Christian atheists have used the public school system as indoctrination centres, or daytime social re-education camps for children. Just like the residential schools where the objective was to take the Indian out of the Indian, or to commit cultural genocide. The new school curriculum was designed here in Australia and the west to strip the Christians of the last vestiges of their religion or spirituality. It ended the same way as it did when the aboriginal protectorate board here in Australia took mixed race children from their parents and stripped them of any chance of their traditional teachings. People ended up hiding their children in bushes, so they were not taken away from their parents and or families. Or in the modern-day iteration of a repeat of history, they the persecuted would try to home school their children to protect and hide them from cultural and spiritual genocide.

The old Australian aboriginal protectorate board was responsible for the sexual farming out of some female children to some white Australians as domestic servants. And ironically the new age new world order atheists, would sexualize children and indoctrinate them on mass, in a process of state sanctioned and legally enforced grooming. A sexualization of children, that what would unfortunately leave the Australian numbers of raped indigenous girls used for sexual gratification in the homes that were meant to protect them to shame. Moving back to Canada, Despite or possibly outright because of it, it seems like residential schools were used as a smoke screen for the left, as they practiced and reintroduce the process of state sanctioned child obduction, and cultural genocide for selected white and black Canadians. Part of that process was to try to reengineer Canadian’s children on the biochemical level, manipulate their psychology and or disfigure them with scalpels. It was and is a process that leaves the promises of not repeating the residential school’s horrific results, to an utter shameless lie. The state turned into Jack the ripper, and Dr Frankenstein in the space of less than one generation, with social sciences that had taken generations to build and apply. While the public or “…we the people…” became the mob chasing all of the above, with torches into the night. It was all achieved, as the leaders of democratic countries, and a republic, did not obey the wills of their people, or the new age plebians, as some would have you believe they are. Fundamental human rights of children, and woman, to be protected from harm’s way, where “Gone with the Wind”, in a pollical battle for a populist win at the ballot box.

The left in its zealot like zeal to do good, or at least that is what they are saying they are consciously doing “…pathed a way to hell, with good intentions….” (to quote a Portuguese proverb) for millions of families. With what have been called good intentions, members of the government and the supposed higher educated or intellectual classes once again used the schools to do it. No Catholics required it seems this time. In fact, in total irony of the media propagated and promoted big government narrative, Catholics where and are being arrested for trying to stop the travesty. So, if it cannot be blamed on the Catholics this time, what or who is the common denominator? And what is the common objective for those adding and abetting the genocide. The common objective was as far as I can see is unaccountable murder, and the desire for unaccountable control. And to achieve that power grab it was aided and abetted via university or peer approved definitions of words. It enabled them to butcher little kids with blades, and sterilizing many with puberty blockers, under state encourage and enforced programs, created by the leftist state. They enforced it by legal orders. But what was the motive? Do they even know? How does this relate to a discussion on the genocide of woman? Well, if you can’t sterilize or murder the mother, you may as well sterilize her kids under state sanction and legal order, it appears?

Via university definitions of language, the atrocities didn’t end there. In a populist echo chamber the pseudointellectual left at universities worked out not just how to redefine a baby as an embryo up to full term, but they also worked out how to sell it with propaganda, in a fallacy of logic. This sale of a utopian existence for woman that encapsulated a childless, partnerless, future for millions, was like selling KFC shares to chickens in battery pens, (to verbally adapt one of the funniest Facebook memes I have ever seen). Whoever did it deserve a Nobel prize in advertising. Or at least a person of the year picture on the front of Time magazine. With VD being left untreated and or uncured in many cases, woman where both sterilized and neutered in a process that could be easily described as nothing other than genocide with no one to be held accountable, but the woman themselves. Some on the right blamed the women’s lax morals but they were wrong. It had been promoted and indoctrinated by the groups that withheld treatment or cure to those women. Although baby murder may be permitted on a word technicality, as far as I know genocide of blood lines and cultures are not. And to be noted the technicality that enabled the execution of both events via a few degrees of separation was the use of group think and group speak.

Canada produces a gold mine of inquiry, into the processes of state sanctioned genocide, and it is a very interesting case study when looking at the legislation for the euthanasia of the poor, or the people that had been selectively made poor by them, the leftist Canadian government. Who would question the ability of the left after that, to not offer euthanasia for women suffering depression for their childless, partnerless, existences. All the while they the pseudo intellectual left and their allies of diverse descriptions, perpetrated cultural genocide on Christianity and Christians. Where did or do they perpetrate it? The process occurs globally or all over the world, but it gets very little mainstream media air play. Not ironically, the leftists don’t block streets for months in unison with Christians, to protest mass murder, that is almost unmentionable outside of Christian chat pages. Chat pages now deemed as Christian nationalist hot beds of anti-democratic gatherings. Gatherings said to be against the state, by some in the pseudo leftist media, and weaponised law enforcement agencies.

I have a shirt that says “…if the government says you don’t need a gun, you need a gun!!!”. It had an American Indian man on it. I presume it was in reference to the slaughter of disarmed Aboriginal Americans murdered in cold blood by government forces, on their own land, once they had been disarmed. For me it is a very pro-American constitution or bill of rights statement. The shirt is a few sizes too big as I ordered an American size from here in Oz, so it looks like a skirt on me. I never wear it much if at all because of that. Despite that, I think it is very profound. Now it seems that if the government and pseudo left wing media, say, you should not have a media outlet, I would argue, to paraphrase my shirt, you need a media outlet. And you need them both for the same reason, your protection. Not so ironically both things are covered for in the American bill of rights. They were deemed so important that they the founding non birthing people, or as they were historically known the founding fathers, put them number one and two.

It appears that aboriginal Canadians and Christians now have something in common, and it is their attempted genocide. Attempted genocide of both of their blood lines and of their cultures. With someone or something instigating that process and sitting outside of the murderous anarchy. The left falls silent when it comes to the cultural and actual genetic genocide of Christians on a global scale. Why? Isn’t all life worth saving? Or is it that only the left, and the lefts supposed allies are worthy of life, and a self-determined existence, determined by the left. Apparently, all life is not worth saving, and we don’t all have “…unalienable rights…”

The numbers show the slow but sure death or stagnation of western populations, and a rapid genocide of its culture. But they are not alone, it had been perpetrated on the natives first, now it is applied to all north Americans, and to varying degrees most countries in the West. Where is the outcry from other feminists against the sterilization of millions of women and girls liberated of their sexual constraints? Where is the outcry for woman and girls of all races, denominations, and demographics in the west by the left? Why are these deaths of unborn children or babies not seen to be of the same value as colonized Americans or the murdered indigenous, by the left? Or hideously not ironic, in this inquiry, it can be asked, are they all considered on the same subhuman level by some? After having their woman murdered, their children stolen, sexualized, groomed, raped, and sterilized what will be the response of” …we the people...”???

They the left don’t seem to like, or use guns very much, as they I presume, know they are outnumbered on that front, well for the moment at least. Like any good army in that situation, they have chosen to out flank their opponents. Their opponents the constitutionalists, and their pesky second amendment, where outflanked by the left abusing the first amendment on mass. Not satisfied there, and enamoured by a blitzkrieg of success, they tried, or are trying it appears to reword, rewrite, or destroy the whole document, that has protected their families for several centuries. That document is the American constitution. The pseudo intellectual left has been involved at every point. They have think tanks, think tanks where they weaponize their own words, then ironically call others words violence. It is like a gorilla action, or pincer movement on the first amendment. Words that are used to attack it, the constitution, are part of language constructs, produced for the logic gating of people. They the left are involved in inciting violence with words, (as words are not violence per say), then said they were using them to create peace… They produced language constructs that logic gated people into doing things that are not in their favour. The right where duped or out flanked when they argued words where not violence, forgetting to add, that they can incite violence. They the intellectual left, logic gated millions of women into childlessness, and neutered them to boot, with the statistical outcomes via their use of language, at universities. Language recited verbatim by the reporters who did not report, and a mainstream media, that did not apply critical thought to what they were saying. Like cattle they were led to the slaughter for following the lefts new age new world order mantras.

It leaves the question as to who is prompting these people of the left to press the electric shocker until the person or peoples they are meant to be helping die? Or to be more literal and not use an analogy, based on the Milgram experiment, who prompts these people to commit genocide, on mass, for the perceived greater good? Who gets these people to commit Hara-kiri before the idol of the left. And why cannot they see what they are doing? Like good Zero pilots in a kamikaze act for the empire, the left sacrifice millions of woman’s breeding power, for a shadow emperor that is nowhere to be seen. There cannot be to many degrees of separation between the instigators and the perpetrators. So, who are they? Why is the death or nonexistence of so many babies, or children, caused by the neutering and or murder of their mothers, not up for constant public debate and scrutiny. Maybe because the left will not be critical of itself, as it can do no wrong. These considerations are not far right-wing propaganda, they are the very thing that the left use as mantras for their group speak and group think, but don’t do. Where is their commitment to a universal stance against genocide, that isn’t a selective biased application, or literally a front to commit the very act itself? Many white North Americans may have forgotten something, that something, is they are part of nations, and those nations help make up the people of the Americas.

How does the current or past genocide help any American? And as a feminist I must ask openly are American and the wests females under attack regardless of race? Are they weeding out the intellectuals first, with VD and old age childlessness, as their ovaries shrivel up? These are rhetorical questions. And it must be noted that I once said that the only people who can bring down an American president are the American people, and I latter extrapolated that the same could be said for its society. And to leave with yet another set of questions as always. Who, or what, stokes these tragedies to occur, and or, who is profiting from these current day colonialist like internal conflicts in the West?

There is no other world. Nor even this one. What, then, is there? The inner smile provoked in us by the patent nonexistence of both.

I did some research on what gear to bring for a photo safari in Botswana, and the advice was unanimous - the Nikon AF-S 200-400mm f/4 VR lens. Even Canon users belated the nonexistence of such a lens from their favorite manufacturer at the time.

So I got the 200-400mm, and indeed it is the perfect safari lens. It gives f/4 speed, whilst still having a 2x zoom range to allow for some composition flexibility. The focus is lightning fast, which is the difference between getting the shot and losing it in wildlife photography. With the extended ISO range of the D700, the loss of one stop of this lens against the prime 400mm f/2.8 never was an issue, while the reduced weight helps with airport hand baggage limits, and allows some handheld photography. Bokeh and sharpness is superb, as can be seen in the shots in this collection.

The 200-400mm also works fine with the TC14EII 1.4x multiplier which makes up for the loss of the 'DX 1.5x factor' on the full frame D700, infact, I shot most of the time with the 1.4x on. The f/5.6 maximum aperture again was easily supported by the D700, even under the lowlight challenges of early morning game drives and the last shots before the 'sundowners'. Focus speed was very little reduced, while sharpness and bokeh were likewise largely unaffected.

The TC20EII 2x multiplier predictably was a different case. Nikon does not recommend its use with the 200-400mm but I have one for the 70-200mm f/2.8 VR, and so I tried anyway. Surprisingly, AF works with reasonable daylight conditions, but sharpness is affected increasingly with distance of the subject. I got some clear close-ups of eagles in trees but when I aimed to get some zebras across a lake, even at manual focus and reduced aperture, the distance and/or atmospherics gave passable shots, but not the pin sharp results I had been getting used to from this lens. But... in the right conditions it's an option, and at worst it makes for a good pair of binoculars!

My web research into this lens also consistently recommended camera support, so I got the super lightweight Gitzo GM2561T monopod and GH1780QR ballhead. The monopod is technically unable to support the weight of the lens and body as in this photo, but seated in a safari jeep with open sides I only needed to extend two or three stages, so the thinnest monopod stages that would not support the weight were not exposed. I did take some shots standing with all stages extended, but keeping the monopod vertical, and using the ballhead to manouevre the camera. Credit to Gitzo, it worked without problem. The ballhead has such grip that turning the monopod on the lens collar and folding the monopod by the ballhead, as in this photo, allowed me to carry the camera by the monopod as a handle. I'm sure it's not recommended by either manufacturer though!

There was little advice on the various websites on how you get the 200-400mm with a D700 and vertical grip combo, not to mention the 14-24mm f/2.8, the 70-200mm f/2.8 VR, plus multipliers etc., in a back pack that fits in a 4 seater Cessna, and stays under the Botswana 12kgs weight limit per passenger for all baggage. Fortunately once you pass Maun airport no-one checks anything anymore, so I got away with a 10kg backpack, and around 8kg of 'check-in' baggage. We had to rely on hope that the places we stayed at had laundry services...

No-one mentioned anything either about the challenge of swinging this monster from left to right in a jeep without whacking someone over the head... Sorry seems to be the hardest word...

Nevertheless, like this you're armed and ready for the Okavango Delta, and Camp Moremi was the perfect place to start.

View On Black

Camp Moremi

Named after Chief Moremi of the BaTawana tribe, Moremi Game Reserve is located on the South Eastern side of Botswana's Okavanga Delta and provides strong contrasts between areas which are largely dry and those that are permanently under water. The thick tree zones abruptly change from lush green to dead wood, stripped bare by elephants. Covering a relatively small 5000 sqm, about 70% is part of the Okavango Delta, and as such often swampy or under completely water. The 4x4 vehicles routinely cross the lagoons, while larger distances have to covered by Cessna, between the many small airstrips. Shorter distances can also be covered by foot to create a more unusual safari experience.

Home to some 500 species including Buffalo, Giraffes, Lions, Hyaenas, Jackals Impalas, Lechwe and Leopards, with the latter hard to find in the dense fauna. Although warned about mosquitos, we encountered few on this part of our trip.

Okavango Delta

The Okavango Delta is the world's largest inland Delta. The Okavango River starts in Angola as the Cubango River, it then follows the border between Angola and Namibia, and drops across the Popa Falls as it enters Botswana. The Okavango River by then spreads itself some 1.2km wide before encountering the Kalahari Desert's northern Basins where it forms the spectacular Okavango Delta. A partial escape is found in the rainy season, when there is an outflow to the Boteti River, which then discharges into the Makgadikgadi Pans, and so providing the seasonal wetland where tens of thousands of Flamingos congregate.

The Delta is constantly under threat due to the Water conflict between Namibia and Botswana. Namibia wants to construct a water canal draining off the Okavango River as it passes through its Caprivi Strip to relieve local draught. The Delta would likely reduce, or even disappear, which would have a devastating impact on Botswana's tourism, not to mention the impact on the flora and fauna. Botswana itself is continuously under fire for its sustained use of veterinary fence, which protect cattle farms, but also block natural migration routes. Two fences cut right through the Delta.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., 15 January 1929 - 4 April 1968

Today marks the fortieth anniversary of the assassination of Dr. King. The speech

he gave at a congregational meeting the day before, at the Mason Church in Memphis, Tennessee, is inspirational, courageous, personal and chilling. And it is still highly relevant to the political reality of the world today. The speech was recorded and is

quite an emotional experience to witness.

The next day, Dr King was fatally wounded by a sniper's bullet, at approxiamately 6.01pm, whilst standing on the balcony of the Lorraine Hotel; he was rushed to the St Joseph's Hospital, but did not survive. Dr King was pronounced dead at 7.01pm. He had just marked his 39th birthday.

'Thank you very kindly, my friends. As I listened to Ralph Abernathy and his

eloquent and generous introduction and then thought about myself, I wondered

who he was talking about. It's always good to have your closest friend and associate

to say something good about you. And Ralph Abernathy is the best friend that I have

in the world. I'm delighted to see each of you here tonight in spite of a storm warning.

You reveal that you are determined to go on anyhow.

Something is happening in Memphis; something is happening in our world.

And you know, if I were standing at the beginning of time, with the possibility

of taking a kind of general and panoramic view of the whole of human history

up to now, and the Almighty said to me, 'Martin Luther King, which age would

you like to live in?'; I would take my mental flight by Egypt and I would watch

God's children in their magnificent trek from the dark dungeons of Egypt

through, or rather across the Red Sea, through the wilderness on toward the

promised land. And in spite of its magnificence, I wouldn't stop there.

I would move on by Greece and take my mind to Mount Olympus. And I would see Plato, Aristotle, Socrates, Euripides and Aristophanes assembled around the Parthenon. And I would watch them around the Parthenon as they discussed the great and eternal issues of reality. But I wouldn't stop there.

I would go on, even to the great heyday of the Roman Empire. And I would see developments around there, through various emperors and leaders. But I wouldn't stop there.

I would even come up to the day of the Renaissance, and get a quick picture of all that the Renaissance did for the cultural and aesthetic life of man. But I wouldn't stop there.

I would even go by the way that the man for whom I am named had his habitat. And I would watch Martin Luther as he tacked his ninety-five theses on the door at the church of Wittenberg. But I wouldn't stop there.

I would come on up even to 1863, and watch a vacillating president by the name of Abraham Lincoln finally come to the conclusion that he had to sign the Emancipation Proclamation. But I wouldn't stop there.

I would even come up to the early thirties, and see a man grappling with the problems of the bankruptcy of his nation. And come with an eloquent cry that we have nothing to fear but 'fear itself.' But I wouldn't stop there.

Strangely enough, I would turn to the Almighty, and say, 'If you allow me to live just a few years in the second half of the 20th century, I will be happy.'

Now that's a strange statement to make, because the world is all messed up.

The nation is sick. Trouble is in the land; confusion all around. That's a strange statement. But I know, somehow, that only when it is dark enough can you see the stars. And I see God working in this period of the twentieth century in a way that men, in some strange way, are responding.

Something is happening in our world. The masses of people are rising up. And wherever they are assembled today, whether they are in Johannesburg, South Africa; Nairobi, Kenya; Accra, Ghana; New York City; Atlanta, Georgia; Jackson, Mississippi; or Memphis, Tennessee - the cry is always the same: 'We want to be free.'

And another reason that I'm happy to live in this period is that we have been forced to a point where we are going to have to grapple with the problems that men have been trying to grapple with through history, but the demands didn't force them to do it.

Survival demands that we grapple with them. Men, for years now, have been talking about war and peace. But now, no longer can they just talk about it. It is no longer a choice between violence and nonviolence in this world; it's nonviolence or nonexistence. That is where we are today.

And also in the human rights revolution, if something isn't done, and done in a hurry, to bring the colored peoples of the world out of their long years of poverty, their long years of hurt and neglect, the whole world is doomed. Now, I'm just happy that God has allowed me to live in this period to see what is unfolding. And I'm happy that He's allowed me to be in Memphis.

I can remember - I can remember when Negroes were just going around as Ralph has said, so often, scratching where they didn't itch, and laughing when they were not tickled. But that day is all over. We mean business now, and we are determined to gain our rightful place in God's world.

And that's all this whole thing is about. We aren't engaged in any negative protest and in any negative arguments with anybody. We are saying that we are determined to be men. We are determined to be people. We are saying - We are saying that we are God's children. And that we are God's children, we don't have to live like we are forced to live.

Now, what does all of this mean in this great period of history? It means that we've got to stay together. We've got to stay together and maintain unity. You know, whenever Pharaoh wanted to prolong the period of slavery in Egypt, he had a favorite, favorite formula for doing it. What was that? He kept the slaves fighting among themselves. But whenever the slaves get together, something happens in Pharaoh's court, and he cannot hold the slaves in slavery. When the slaves get together, that's the beginning of getting out of slavery. Now let us maintain unity.

Secondly, let us keep the issues where they are. The issue is injustice. The issue is the refusal of Memphis to be fair and honest in its dealings with its public servants, who happen to be sanitation workers. Now, we've got to keep attention on that. That's always the problem with a little violence. You know what happened the other day, and the press dealt only with the window-breaking. I read the articles. They very seldom got around to mentioning the fact that one thousand, three hundred sanitation workers are on strike, and that Memphis is not being fair to them, and that Mayor Loeb is in dire need of a doctor. They didn't get around to that.

Now we're going to march again, and we've got to march again, in order to put the issue where it is supposed to be - and force everybody to see that there are thirteen hundred of God's children here suffering, sometimes going hungry, going through dark and dreary nights wondering how this thing is going to come out. That's the issue. And we've got to say to the nation: We know how it's coming out. For when people get caught up with that which is right and they are willing to sacrifice for it, there is no stopping point short of victory.

We aren't going to let any mace stop us. We are masters in our nonviolent movement in disarming police forces; they don't know what to do. I've seen them so often. I remember in Birmingham, Alabama, when we were in that majestic struggle there, we would move out of the 16th Street Baptist Church day after day; by the hundreds we would move out. And Bull Connor would tell them to send the dogs forth, and they did come; but we just went before the dogs singing, 'Ain't gonna let nobody turn me around.'

Bull Connor next would say, 'Turn the fire hoses on.' And as I said to you the other night, Bull Connor didn't know history. He knew a kind of physics that somehow didn't relate to the transphysics that we knew about. And that was the fact that there was a certain kind of fire that no water could put out. And we went before the fire hoses; we had known water. If we were Baptist or some other denominations, we had been immersed. If we were Methodist, and some others, we had been sprinkled, but we knew water. That couldn't stop us.

And we just went on before the dogs and we would look at them; and we'd go on before the water hoses and we would look at it, and we'd just go on singing 'Over my head I see freedom in the air.' And then we would be thrown in the paddy wagons, and sometimes we were stacked in there like sardines in a can. And they would throw us in, and old Bull would say, 'Take 'em off,' and they did; and we would just go in the paddy wagon singing, 'We Shall Overcome.' And every now and then we'd get in jail, and we'd see the jailers looking through the windows being moved by our prayers, and being moved by our words and our songs.

And there was a power there which Bull Connor couldn't adjust to; and so we ended up transforming Bull into a steer, and we won our struggle in Birmingham. Now we've got to go on in Memphis just like that. I call upon you to be with us when we go out Monday.

Now about injunctions: We have an injunction and we're going into court tomorrow morning to fight this illegal, unconstitutional injunction. All we say to America is, 'Be true to what you said on paper.' If I lived in China or even Russia, or any totalitarian country, maybe I could understand some of these illegal injunctions. Maybe I could understand the denial of certain basic First Amendment privileges, because they hadn't committed themselves to that over there. But somewhere I read of the freedom of assembly. Somewhere I read of the freedom of speech. Somewhere I read of the freedom of press. Somewhere I read that the greatness of America is the right to protest for right. And so just as I say, we aren't going to let dogs or water hoses turn us around, we aren't going to let any injunction turn us around. We are going on.

We need all of you. And you know what's beautiful to me is to see all of these ministers of the Gospel. It's a marvelous picture. Who is it that is supposed to articulate the longings and aspirations of the people more than the preacher? Somehow the preacher must have a kind of fire shut up in his bones. And whenever injustice is around he tell it. Somehow the preacher must be an Amos, and saith, 'When God speaks who can but prophesy?' Again with Amos, 'Let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.' Somehow the preacher must say with Jesus, 'The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me,' and he's anointed me to deal with the problems of the poor.'

And I want to commend the preachers, under the leadership of these noble men: James Lawson, one who has been in this struggle for many years; he's been to jail for struggling; he's been kicked out of Vanderbilt University for this struggle, but he's still going on, fighting for the rights of his people. Reverend Ralph Jackson, Billy Kyles; I could just go right on down the list, but time will not permit. But I want to thank all of them. And I want you to thank them, because so often, preachers aren't concerned about anything but themselves. And I'm always happy to see a relevant ministry.

It's all right to talk about 'long white robes over yonder,' in all of its symbolism. But ultimately people want some suits and dresses and shoes to wear down here! It's all right to talk about 'streets flowing with milk and honey,' but God has commanded us to be concerned about the slums down here, and his children who can't eat three square meals a day. It's all right to talk about the new Jerusalem, but one day, God's preacher must talk about the new New York, the new Atlanta, the new Philadelphia, the new Los Angeles, the new Memphis, Tennessee. This is what we have to do.

Now the other thing we'll have to do is this: Always anchor our external direct action with the power of economic withdrawal. Now, we are poor people. Individually, we are poor when you compare us with white society in America. We are poor. Never stop and forget that collectively - that means all of us together - collectively we are richer than all the nations in the world, with the exception of nine. Did you ever think about that? After you leave the United States, Soviet Russia, Great Britain, West Germany, France, and I could name the others, the American Negro collectively is richer than most nations of the world. We have an annual income of more than thirty billion dollars a year, which is more than all of the exports of the United States, and more than the national budget of Canada. Did you know that? That's power right there, if we know how to pool it.

We don't have to argue with anybody. We don't have to curse and go around acting bad with our words. We don't need any bricks and bottles. We don't need any Molotov cocktails. We just need to go around to these stores, and to these massive industries in our country, and say, 'God sent us by here, to say to you that you're not treating his children right. And we've come by here to ask you to make the first item on your agenda fair treatment, where God's children are concerned. Now, if you are not prepared to do that, we do have an agenda that we must follow. And our agenda calls for withdrawing economic support from you.'

And so, as a result of this, we are asking you tonight, to go out and tell your neighbors not to buy Coca-Cola in Memphis. Go by and tell them not to buy Sealtest milk. Tell them not to buy - what is the other bread? - Wonder Bread. And what is the other bread company, Jesse? Tell them not to buy Hart's bread. As Jesse Jackson has said, up to now, only the garbage men have been feeling pain; now we must kind of redistribute the pain. We are choosing these companies because they haven't been fair in their hiring policies; and we are choosing them because they can begin the process of saying they are going to support the needs and the rights of these men who are on strike. And then they can move on town - downtown and tell Mayor Loeb to do what is right.

But not only that, we've got to strengthen black institutions. I call upon you to take your money out of the banks downtown and deposit your money in Tri-State Bank. We want a 'bank-in' movement in Memphis. Go by the savings and loan association. I'm not asking you something that we don't do ourselves at SCLC. Judge Hooks and others will tell you that we have an account here in the savings and loan association from the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. We are telling you to follow what we are doing. Put your money there. You have six or seven black insurance companies here in the city of Memphis. Take out your insurance there. We want to have an 'insurance-in.'

Now these are some practical things that we can do. We begin the process of building a greater economic base. And at the same time, we are putting pressure where it really hurts. I ask you to follow through here.

Now, let me say as I move to my conclusion that we've got to give ourselves to this struggle until the end. Nothing would be more tragic than to stop at this point in Memphis. We've got to see it through. And when we have our march, you need to be there. If it means leaving work, if it means leaving school - be there. Be concerned about your brother. You may not be on strike. But either we go up together, or we go down together.

Let us develop a kind of dangerous unselfishness. One day a man came to Jesus, and he wanted to raise some questions about some vital matters of life. At points he wanted to trick Jesus, and show him that he knew a little more than Jesus knew and throw him off base...

Now that question could have easily ended up in a philosophical and theological debate. But Jesus immediately pulled that question from mid-air, and placed it on a dangerous curve between Jerusalem and Jericho. And he talked about a certain man, who fell among thieves. You remember that a Levite and a priest passed by on the other side. They didn't stop to help him. And finally a man of another race came by. He got down from his beast, decided not to be compassionate by proxy. But he got down with him, administered first aid, and helped the man in need. Jesus ended up saying, this was the good man, this was the great man, because he had the capacity to project the "I" into the "thou," and to be concerned about his brother.

Now you know, we use our imagination a great deal to try to determine why the priest and the Levite didn't stop. At times we say they were busy going to a church meeting, an ecclesiastical gathering, and they had to get on down to Jerusalem so they wouldn't be late for their meeting. At other times we would speculate that there was a religious law that 'One who was engaged in religious ceremonials was not to touch a human body twenty-four hours before the ceremony.' And every now and then we begin to wonder whether maybe they were not going down to Jerusalem - or down to Jericho, rather to organize a 'Jericho Road Improvement Association.' That's a possibility. Maybe they felt that it was better to deal with the problem from the causal root, rather than to get bogged down with an individual effect.

But I'm going to tell you what my imagination tells me. It's possible that those men were afraid. You see, the Jericho road is a dangerous road. I remember when Mrs. King and I were first in Jerusalem. We rented a car and drove from Jerusalem down to Jericho. And as soon as we got on that road, I said to my wife, 'I can see why Jesus used this as the setting for his parable.' It's a winding, meandering road. It's really conducive for ambushing. You start out in Jerusalem, which is about 1200 miles - or rather 1200 feet above sea level. And by the time you get down to Jericho, fifteen or twenty minutes later, you're about 2200 feet below sea level. That's a dangerous road. In the days of Jesus it came to be known as the 'Bloody Pass.' And you know, it's possible that the priest and the Levite looked over that man on the ground and wondered if the robbers were still around. Or it's possible that they felt that the man on the ground was merely faking. And he was acting like he had been robbed and hurt, in order to seize them over there, lure them there for quick and easy seizure. And so the first question that the priest asked - the first question that the Levite asked was, 'If I stop to help this man, what will happen to me?' But then the Good Samaritan came by. And he reversed the question: 'If I do not stop to help this man, what will happen to him?'

That's the question before you tonight. Not, 'If I stop to help the sanitation workers, what will happen to my job. Not, If I stop to help the sanitation workers what will happen to all of the hours that I usually spend in my office every day and every week as a pastor?' The question is not, 'If I stop to help this man in need, what will happen to me?' The question is, 'If I do not stop to help the sanitation workers, what will happen to them?' That's the question.

Let us rise up tonight with a greater readiness. Let us stand with a greater determination. And let us move on in these powerful days, these days of challenge to make America what it ought to be. We have an opportunity to make America a better nation. And I want to thank God, once more, for allowing me to be here with you.

You know, several years ago, I was in New York City autographing the first book that I had written. And while sitting there autographing books, a demented black woman came up. The only question I heard from her was, 'Are you Martin Luther King?' And I was looking down writing, and I said, 'Yes.' And the next minute I felt something beating on my chest. Before I knew it I had been stabbed by this demented woman. I was rushed to Harlem Hospital. It was a dark Saturday afternoon. And that blade had gone through, and the X-rays revealed that the tip of the blade was on the edge of my aorta, the main artery. And once that's punctured, your drowned in your own blood - that's the end of you.

It came out in the New York Times the next morning, that if I had merely sneezed, I would have died. Well, about four days later, they allowed me, after the operation, after my chest had been opened, and the blade had been taken out, to move around in the wheel chair in the hospital. They allowed me to read some of the mail that came in, and from all over the states and the world, kind letters came in. I read a few, but one of them I will never forget. I had received one from the President and the Vice-President. I've forgotten what those telegrams said. I'd received a visit and a letter from the Governor of New York, but I've forgotten what that letter said. But there was another letter that came from a little girl, a young girl who was a student at the White Plains High School. And I looked at that letter, and I'll never forget it. It said simply,

'Dear Dr. King,

I am a ninth-grade student at the White Plains High School.'

And she said,

'While it should not matter, I would like to mention that I'm a white girl. I read in the paper of your misfortune, and of your suffering. And I read that if you had sneezed, you would have died. And I'm simply writing you to say that I'm so happy that you didn't sneeze.'

And I want to say tonight - I want to say tonight that I too am happy that I didn't sneeze. Because if I had sneezed, I wouldn't have been around here in 1960, when students all over the South started sitting-in at lunch counters. And I knew that as they were sitting in, they were really standing up for the best in the American dream, and taking the whole nation back to those great wells of democracy which were dug deep by the Founding Fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

If I had sneezed, I wouldn't have been around here in 1961, when we decided to take a ride for freedom and ended segregation in inter-state travel.

If I had sneezed, I wouldn't have been around here in 1962, when Negroes in Albany, Georgia, decided to straighten their backs up. And whenever men and women straighten their backs up, they are going somewhere, because a man can't ride your back unless it is bent.

If I had sneezed - If I had sneezed I wouldn't have been here in 1963, when the black people of Birmingham, Alabama, aroused the conscience of this nation, and brought into being the Civil Rights Bill.

If I had sneezed, I wouldn't have had a chance later that year, in August, to try to tell America about a dream that I had had.

If I had sneezed, I wouldn't have been down in Selma, Alabama, to see the great Movement there.

If I had sneezed, I wouldn't have been in Memphis to see a community rally around those brothers and sisters who are suffering.

I'm so happy that I didn't sneeze.

And they were telling me... Now, it doesn't matter, now. It really doesn't matter what happens now. I left Atlanta this morning, and as we got started on the plane, there were six of us. The pilot said over the public address system, 'We are sorry for the delay, but we have Dr. Martin Luther King on the plane. And to be sure that all of the bags were checked, and to be sure that nothing would be wrong with on the plane, we had to check out everything carefully. And we've had the plane protected and guarded all night.'

And then I got into Memphis. And some began to say the threats, or talk about the threats that were out. What would happen to me from some of our sick white brothers?

Well, I don't know what will happen now. We've got some difficult days ahead. But it really doesn't matter with me now, because I've been to the mountaintop.

And I don't mind.

Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place.

But I'm not concerned about that now. I just want to do God's will.

And He's allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I've looked over.

And I've seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you.

But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land!

And so I'm happy, tonight.

I'm not worried about anything.

I'm not fearing any man!

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord!'

“A” is for AGNOSTIC.

A definition from Wikipedia: "Agnostics claim either that it is not possible to have absolute or certain knowledge of the existence or nonexistence of God or gods; or, alternatively, that while individual certainty may be possible, they personally have no knowledge. Agnosticism in both cases involves some form of skepticism."

This sums me up pretty well. I consider myself an Agnostic Unitarian. I have lots of friends who are quite religious and we tend to “agree to disagree” in that department. To me, the ability to freely practice your chosen religion (or lack there of) is the founding principal of the United States of America. Sadly, I think many people have forgotten that. You don’t push your religion on me, and I won’t push my non-beliefs on you. Simple as that.

everything here has a reasonable relationship to something else. unreasonable relationships result in nonexistence.

You come to us

from another world

From beyond the stars

and void of space.

Transcendent, Pure,

Of unimaginable beauty,

Bringing with you

the essence of love

You transform all

who are touched by you.

Mundane concerns,

troubles, and sorrows

dissolve in your presence,

Bringing joy

to ruler and ruled

To peasant and king

You bewilder us

with your grace.

All evils

transform into

goodness.

You are the master alchemist.

You light the fire of love

Through your love

Under pressure from the Kennedy administration to reduce the military budget by having more commonality between the services, the USAF evaluated the US Navy's F4H-1 Phantom II against the F-105 Thunderchief (as a tactical fighter), the F-106 Delta Dart (as an interceptor), and the RF-101 Voodoo (as a tactical reconnaissance aircraft). To the USAF's surprise, the F4H-1 outperformed all three, and was capable of doing all three missions with the same general type of aircraft.

Impressed, the USAF asked for the loan of two F4H-1s for further evaluation preparatory to purchase. These were painted in overall ADC Gray and redesignated F-110A Spectre in 1961. Soon thereafter, it was announced that the USAF would purchase the F-110A as its standard tactical fighter, to replace the F-105 (the F-106 would remain the USAF's standard interceptor), while the RF-110A would replace the RF-101. However, to eliminate confusion over aircraft types, the Tri-Service Aircraft Designation System was adopted in 1962; both the F4H-1 and F-110 were renamed simply the F-4. The Spectre name was dropped (though it would be adopted later for the Lockheed AC-130) in favor of the Navy's Phantom II. The Navy and USAF variants were designated F-4B and F-4C respectively, though the F-4C would be modified slightly for USAF requirements. This included wider main landing gear tires (which resulted in a bulge in the upper wing), flight controls for the backseater, and boom/plug refueling rather than probe/drogue.

In combat, the F-4C was something of a mixed bag. It was still an interceptor rather than a dogfighter, and over Vietnam, where it was pitted against more agile MiG-17s and MiG-21s, the Phantom was at a disadvantage. Its raw speed allowed its crews to pick and choose a fight, but it could not turn with the smaller North Vietnamese fighters. Its biggest problem was the lack of an internal gun, especially since the AIM-7 Sparrows and AIM-9 Sidewinders that formed its normal warload were unreliable. Finally, a lack of dogfight training left USAF pilots at a disadvantage. Though tactics would change and missiles would improve, F-4C crews were barely reaching parity with an enemy the USAF outnumbered and outgunned. There was nothing wrong with the aircraft itself: it was simply being committed to a role it was not designed for.

The F-4C was gradually replaced in Vietnam by improved F-4D/E variants, though C models would be involved until the end of the war. Following the end of American involvement, the F-4C was relegated to Air National Guard interceptor units. These would remain in service until the early 1990s, when they were retired in favor of the F-15 Eagle.

This is another view of 63-7676; with that tail number, it was inevitable it would be decorated for the 1976 US Bicentennial. The entire tailplane was painted white with red and blue stripes, and "17" and "19" added ahead of its actual plane number. The tailcode was reduced to almost nonexistence, and the Betsy Ross flag added behind it. For good measure, the wingtips were also decorated with red, white and blue stripes. Though this was not the most elaborate Bicentennial scheme, it was pretty impressive. A view of the nose marking can be seen at www.flickr.com/photos/31469080@N07/15456502233/in/datepos...

As mentioned before, this was Brigadier General Fred Haeffner's personal aircraft as commander of the 58th TFTW at Luke AFB. It was relegated to the 199th FIS (Hawaii Air National Guard) in 1983, and thence to the 123rd FIS (Oregon ANG), before being lost in a fatal accident over the Pacific Ocean in 1989.

Midnight Blue - Robert Fripp

Oroflivar: One of the more common forms of wildlife found on Dexwhupra, where the animals are very simple, the Rekadolays being by far the most complex organisms on the planet (even discounting their unique regeneration feature). The Oroflivar is a rather unique creature with a particularly unusual shape. It measures, at most, one meter in height, but has a proportionately tall body; resembles a crustacean in some ways and walks around slowly on six pointed claws/toes. It has on its upper body a yellowish "face" of sorts consisting of three greenish eyes, an oddly–structured nose, and a rough patch that could more or less reasonably be called the creature's "chin". Other features that are more noticeable still than these are the Oroflivar's incongruently colored, suction cup–covered "arms", and most notably of all, the monstrous, multi–tongued maw of a mouth on its top. Oroflivars usually bend over when they need to eat, due to the rather inconvenient placement of their mouths, but they tend to manage decently overall. Their diet mainly consists of Dexwhupran flora, with mushrooms seeming to be their favorite foods.

The Oroflivar's durability value range is 350–500. The creatures are most common in the Southern hemisphere of Dexwhupra, and they have few interactions with the Rekadolays, being both inedible and nonthreatening to the humanoids and thus having little relevance to them.

Zotvochan: A rather mysterious demonic entity consisting of a totem–like structure of about two meters tall and with a grinning, horned head. Two dagger–type blades curve outward from its sides. Zotvochans are made of magical stone, similar to that which most Primal Deities are made of, but not as flexibly animate; as far as articulation goes, they mainly only shift their eyes move their mouths in a slow and mechanical manner. That being said, they are paradoxically very mobile most of the time, as they can float around on their axises at relatively high speeds, visibly glowing with a reddish aura while doing so. Zotvochans are among the only demons that are never overtly hostile to mortals; they will attack only when outright attacked first, and their offensive capabilities consist of whirling around violently like hyper–accelerated spinning tops, so as to harm enemies with their blades and/or the sheer weight of their immensely dense and heavy stone bodies. The durability value of a Zotvochan is exactly 1,500.

The Zotvochan's singular purpose is to seek out and collect prayer and tribute for the Four Dark Lords and demons in general. It is a living receptor for invocations directed toward the denizens of the Underworld, and functions as a sort of sentient idol or shrine. The entity's blades are there for the purpose of drawing blood, which the magical daggers then absorb into themselves. Its mouth constitutes what seems to be a self–contained portal to the Underworld, and is meant to have objects, such as food, jewels or even body parts, placed into it as offerings. This mouth only opens while someone who intends to place something into it is present. Zotvochans are not associated with any particular one of the Four Dark Lords; rather, they are representative of demonic forces in general. They have never actually been encountered in the Underworld; they don't even appear to spawn there, and if they do indeed come into being in the Prime Galaxy (or even in the space beyond it), this would make them unique among all demons. However, the spawning of a Zotvochan has never been witnessed, adding to the mystery and overall creepiness of the demons. They are completely silent, yet they appear to be fully intelligent when it comes to locating and transporting themselves to places where they are most likely to receive worship, and discerning behaviors and reactions and adjusting themselves accordingly. To elaborate, once it has found a place, usually on an evil planet such as Zornemim, where it will receive frequent attention, a Zotvochan will "settle down" there and largely cease movement other than floating in place just above the ground.

Hatiginiff: A diminutive animal that lives on Poulbrim. The Hatiginiff (plural Hatiginiffi) is a short–bodied, four–legged creature that is, at most, two feet in length when fully grown. It has a tail consisting of three short, pointy spokes and, more importantly, a moderately hideous skull–like, head/face with blotchy skin not found elsewhere on the creature's body and a swollen, striped cranium that contains a disproportionately large brain. The creature is a herbivore with reptile–like traits, and despite its large brain, it is as simple–minded and simple–natured as its appearance otherwise lets on. The Hatiginiff's limbs are all short and stubby, but thick, strong and surprisingly flexible for their meager length. The three long fingers on its arms are particularly useful. The animal also has a slimy and slightly scaly texture over most of its body. Hatiginiffi's durability values range from 200 to 300, and they generally are found in packs/families of between five and ten individuals. They occasionally venture into the settlements of the Qendsewn, the humanoids of Poulbrim, and are seen as pests by the sentients, whose only real use for the inedible creatures is to utilize them as subjects in certain experiments of theirs. Such experiments are usually cruel in nature.

Hatiginiffi, like other Poulbrimian animals, most notably the Ulirooh, bears a degree of resemblance to the Qendsewn, mainly due to sharing similar genes from the very limited gene pool present on Poulbrim. In the Hatiginiffi's case, the most prominent trait that it has in common with Qendsewn is the large, bulbous brain, while the creature's face more closely resembles that of the Ulirooh.

Cranfolou: Another small creature native to Dexwhupra. The Cranfolou is a six–armed worm–type animal whose classification as an insectoid has often been debated. It possesses four eyes and a rather large mouth, and can vary in lengthwise size from as short as one foot to as long as three feet. Cranfolous have segmented, patterned bodies, flimsy arms that can be made to wave and flail wildly at will, and small yellow "caps" on their heads that can be made to light up. They are found in all regions of Dexwhupra, and their meat is eaten by all forms of Rekadolay. Other than them, the creatures have no natural predators, and they themselves are omnivorous, with the carnivorous aspects of their diets mainly consisting of standard insects. The Cranfolou's durability value is about 250, and there is little else to be said about it.

Wercleabil: A large and round amphibious predator found on Nonfialy, best known as the home of the crazed Ojohkeys. Wercleabils dwell beneath the murky waters of Nonfialy's swamps and other generally polluted bodies of water. Their roundish, almost squarish main bodies are about one cubic meter or slightly more in size, and they can be distinguished by their large eyes and perpetually–open, toothy mouths. They have seven tentacle appendages, five of which function as "legs" while the other two serve as the "arms". Other features of the Wercleabil include its bright red ears and the spongy texture of some parts of its body. The beast can generally be detected through the frequent gurgle–like roaring noises that it makes, especially when hungry. These creatures are vicious, and eat most other forms of life on Nonfialy, the most notable exception being the Ojohkeys themselves, who frequently hunt Wercleabils for sport despite not being able to eat them either. Strangely, however, it has been observed by others visiting their planet that Wercleabils do desire to eat a majority of other humanoid species from other planets, as the creatures tend to be more openly hostile to them than to Ojohkeys. Wercleabils are also known for being among the few non–humanoid creatures that commonly kill their own kind; they do this out of competition. The durability value of a Wercleabil is 800.

Senketinal: An uncommon Sertrophian behemoth of a creature that is only found in specific regions of the planet and is considered only marginally more populous than the exceedingly rare Bagelurk overall. Senketinals are tremendous mollusk–like beasts that usually stand at least three meters tall and can weigh as much as a ton. They are upright–postured and mostly cool in color, and their flesh is, in most areas, squishy and flexible, as is characteristic of most other creatures with similar physical forms, but dry and lacking the slimy texture also characteristic of such creatures. They are legless, with typical slug–like, slithering underbellies, yet have fully formed and very powerful arms. The durability value of an average Senketinal is estimated at 2,500. These creatures, to continue describing their appearance and physical features of note, have partial shells, usually of a greenish color, covering what basically amounts to their shoulders or upper backs, and are bereft of true faces. The "head" of a Senketinal protrudes outward and ends in a pointed structure containing what may appear to be a single eye but is actually two differently–structured eyes, the smaller of which is suspended within the vitreous cavity of the larger one. This results in the creature having incredibly acute sight but a small field of vision. Senketinals also lack readily visible mouths, and in a sense they do not have true mouths, as the animal's equivalent to a "mouth" consists of a somewhat hidden portal beneath the folds of its "head" through which food enters the digestive system of its body, but which does not contain any gustatory receptors. Thus, Senketinals have no sense of taste. Their senses equivalent to hearing and smell are carried out by thousands of invisibly small sensory pores located all over their bodies, while they experience the sensation of touch primarily through their five–fingered hands which, along with their arms as a whole, are the most developed and humanoid–like elements of Senketinal anatomy.

Senketinals are omnivores with slow and efficient metabolisms that require them to consume relatively little in proportion to the size of their bodies. Due to their lack of taste and the nonexistence of their mouths, they indiscriminately eat nearly every edible substance on Sertrop, as well as some objects which aren't edible to any other native beings. The creatures reproduce via spores secreted through a network of external pores separate from the ones responsible for hearing and smell, and fewer than 1% of these spores fully develop into actual Senketinals. Once they are born, however, Senketinals grow and mature rapidly without needing to be actively raised. Senketinals are considered to be sentient but not sapient, and they are of average intelligence as far as non–humanoids go. Though not innately hostile to intelligent humanoids, they may attack if and when they, in their imperfect and limited judgment, perceive a danger to be posed, and their predominant method of attacking is to attempt to strangle or crush prey and enemies to death with their large hands. Another, far less commonly witnessed form of aggression is for the creature to release the contents of its stomach as highly acidic projectile–vomit from its "mouth", which is not harmed and does not experience unpleasant sensation from this action due to being nothing more than a hole.

Senketinals, as previously mentioned, are found only in specific parts of Sertrop's map. The area most abundant with the creatures (relatively speaking) would be the "Oumpather Islands". Other places on Sertrop where they may be found include the stretch of land between "The Delta" (the planet's most prominent river) and "The Ragestrom" (a naturally–occurring ocean region of constant, violent storms off the North coast of Sertrop's mainland continent), as well as the Southernmost parts of the Flufewog subcontinent.

Parinessme: A lesser angel that serves as a warden/herald/harbinger of monumental change, both good and bad. It often appears shortly before wars, disasters, miracles and otherwise historic events, and does not discernibly reveal the exact nature of the coming event which its presence signifies. Thus, when a Parinessme (pl. Parinessmi, though only one may appear for any single occasion) appears, most races see its coming as a warning and prepare for the worst. Of course, not every major event is accompanied by the appearance of a Parinessme; in fact, the angels have been sighted progressively less often in recent years. However, they are considered more likely to appear in the Alpha Octant than anywhere else in the Prime Galaxy, as more sightings have been recorded there than in any other octant. Parinessmi do not speak, nor do they ever provide any assistance with negative events other than giving vague warnings of them; they usually appear in remote and/or high–up locations from which they can be easily seen but not easily interacted with. Parinessmi are often considered to be among the "darkest" of angels due to their foreboding and ominous associations as well as for elements of their overall appearance, which, in comparison to other angelic creatures, features more dark colors and shades more commonly seen in demons as opposed to angels. Many also dislike them due to the fact that they never explain anything and do not contribute active support, always disappearing before the event they herald actually comes to pass. Interestingly, no Parinessme has ever been verifiably witnessed either appearing or disappearing; it would seem that they come and go only while no one is looking. It is known, however, they they can fly through the air and through space at extreme speeds, which easily reach several hundred, if not one thousand, miles per hour. On the appearance and form of the Parinessme, its strange body consists of a round, yellowish face–construct with two birdlike, clawed arms and a single leg that is likewise avian–esque, atop which is another, more organic and darkly–colored structure with large wings. Atop this is a sub–corporeal eyeball–like sphere of diluted Rainbow Energy. The entire creature is variably between 5–7 feet tall. Parinessmi are believed to come into being in the space surrounding Paradise before descending into the Prime Galaxy and lying in wait there, hiding in the darkness of its space until they are compelled to show themselves in light of some imminent event of great importance. It is unknown whether they are intelligent, and whether they are brought into existence by raw Rainbow Energy, any of the Heavenly Lords, or even God the Father Himself. The Parinessme's durability value is roughly estimated to be 900.

Ingthedud: A Nirtrid–like but non–demonic insect creature native to Barserinv. It typically and largely acts as a common pest to the planet's humanoids, the Kierraplips, in the same way Nirtrids do to many other races. Curiously, there are absolutely no Nirtrids on Barserinv. Ingtheduds are round–bodied creatures with three distinct pairs of limbs and two distinct mouths, one on the top and one in the front of the face. Their eyes and faces are structured and positioned such that they can move, see and function both while positioned upright on their two lower legs and while crawling on all sixes. This is the very reason for the Ingthedud having two mouths. Ingtheduds are somewhat larger than most varieties of Nirtrid, often growing as large as a full yard in length. This makes them some of the largest insectoids on any planet. However, compared to the humanoids they live among and often pester, they are considerably less massive in proportion. Ingtheduds, like Nirtrids, generally live in underground colonies, but their caves and nests are noticeably more spacious and well–crafted than those of most Nirtrids and may even include crude, makeshift "furniture", indicating a greater level of intelligence compared to those creatures. They are unisexual; any Ingthedud may freely mate (and attempt to reproduce) with any other Ingthedud, but reproduction for the creatures is difficult to accomplish and painful to carry out, which keeps their populations in check. Ingtheduds frequently harass Kierraplips, usually at night and primarily by trying to steal their food and other supplies. Though they rarely outright violently attack the humanoids (to whom they pose little threat), they remain a persistent problem to them due to their tenacity, sneakiness and ability to coordinate new tactics and strategies for stealing from the Kierraplips, being smarter than Nirtrids. The average durability value for any given Ingthedud is 550.

Kierraplip: The main natives of the planet Barserinv, located in the Alpha Octant. Kierraplips are rather hairy mammalian humanoids that are, like most other Alpha Octant races, generally peaceful and devout. They are very large and can measure up to eight feet tall or even more; this makes them the second largest mortal humanoids in the Prime Galaxy, next to the Drajelaos, and also the largest humanoids that can currently be interacted with by others. Besides their size, they are physically characterized by their very broad and wide shoulders and exceptionally long necks, which are seamless with their chins. The odd structure of their hands is also notable. The other creatures of Barserinv, a planet with mixed environments, are not particularly large, and thus the Kierraplips are among the largest beings on the planet, and have few serious local threats and dangers to deal with. One common problem plaguing them comes from the pesky giant insects known as the Ingtheduds and their tendency to steal from them, but even this is ultimately more of a nuisance than a serious dilemma. Indeed, Kierraplips have it rather easy off overall.

With their great size naturally comes great physical strength, though they are not necessarily the strongest of humanoids, as there are a few other races, such as the Ostiobites, the Favredians and the Anyugari, that are considered on par with them in terms of brute strength. When they do fight, Kierraplips largely use their bare hands and claws; there has never been a need for them to develop weaponry on their home planet, which has never been invaded. Culturally and intellectually, Kierraplips have a fairly average output, and music is their most favored medium of expression. Technologically, they have contributed little of their own, though like most races, they have incorporated many major advances and developments from elsewhere into their society. Most Kierraplips have durability values of more than 1,500, which is highly impressive even considering their size.

Zinnktos: Hostile flying insects found on Virslagly that act as the main natural threat among the planet's wildlife to the intelligent natives, the Hexpultis, and any other humanoids who visit the world. Zinnktoses are highly numerous and vary greatly in size, from mere inches to two whole feet or more. A "large" Zinnktos (one measuring 2+ feet) has a durability value of about 350. They live in massive hives that contain hundreds of individuals each, and there are hundreds of these hives scattered across and throughout Virslagly's surfaces, mountains and crevices. Physically, Zinnktoses' core bodies are predominantly bluish. They have large, circular, multicolored armored torso–structures that are continuous with their mouths, two arms of moderate length with three fingers, long abdomens, and muscular, colorful wings. Zinnktoses are highly hostile and irritable creatures, and when they are provoked, which happens very easily, they attack by stinging. Their venom is quite potent, and a single sting from a particularly large specimen can be enough to kill certain humanoids, though adult Hexpultis are generally tough enough to survive any one sting that isn't inflicted to a vital area. Zinnktoses have four stingers, two at the bottom of the abdomen and two within the folds of the wings. The latter pair of stingers can actually be launched. Each of these stingers is removed permanently after being used and does not grow back, and if and when all four of its stingers have been expelled, a Zinnktos dies. However, the creatures do not appear to care for their own individual lives whatsoever, and are liberal, if not wasteful, in their stinging. The danger posed by the Zinnktoses to the Hexpultis is comparable to that posed by the Uliroohs to the Qendsewn on Poulbrim, though the Hexpultis are generally much more capable of defending themselves when they are attacked. Interestingly, both hostile creatures can fly and have suicidal tendencies.

Hexpultis: The native humanoid race of Virslagly, the most remote planet in the Beta Octant. Hexpultis (the plural form of the race's name is confusingly the same as its singular form) are a fairly large race in both physical size and population, commonly measuring up to six feet in height (seven or more if their "horns", explained below, are counted) and currently numbering in the hundreds of millions with colonies and embassies in several locations in the Prime Galaxy besides their homeworld. The Hexpultis has a fairly standard humanoid build. Its flesh is mainly pink, and starts out hairless, but by adulthood (17 years according to Hexpultis culture) comes to be covered in many areas by blue or purple fur, which is far more prevalent in males and is, in excess, generally considered to be indicative of "manliness". Hexpultis of both genders have thick, pronounced lips of normally greenish colors, as well as large chins, which are usually hairy in males and bare in females. The race as a whole is quite burly, though as is the case with most races, most female Hexpultis are somewhat leaner and less muscular than most males. Above all, however, the most distinguishing physical trait of the Hexpultis is its three large, curling "horns", which are actually tendrils of compacted smooth muscle that connect to the brain and contain numerous nerves and glands related to higher mental functions. If they are severed, the Hexpultis can survive, but will be left mentally stunted. Fortunately, these tendrils, while still occasionally a liability, are stronger, sturdier and less vulnerable than they may appear. The standard Hexpultis has a durability value of approximately an even 1,000, which may be augmented by armor, which is commonly worn among the race.

Hexpultis possess moderate intelligence in regards to logic and reasoning and above–average intelligence in regards to technological savviness. They have long lived in large settlements, primarily in the geographically depressed areas of Virslagly, and utilized trade and communication routes to establish interconnectivity between these settlements. Starting in the early Seventh Century Relative, the Hexpultis began advancing their architecture and societal organization by developing a focus on tall, multi–story buildings that could efficiently house large amounts of people while occupying comparatively small amounts of real estate. In Age 622, they completed their first successful spacecraft, dubbed the Groovecruiser, and have since then established footholds on several additional planets, moons and installations, resulting in the Hexpultis population growing substantially to its current, considerably large size.

Most Hexpultis are used to harsh conditions, due to their less–than–hospitable homeworld. As a result, the race is very combat–savvy, and since joining interplanetary civilization, many of its members have been known to seek work as mercenaries or soldiers–for–hire. However, this trend seems to have started dying down as the ratio of Virslagly–born Hexpultis has decreased.

Taptohtnej: The largest of all Coneforfadian creatures. The Taptohtnej is a tank–shaped, roughly Treymoz–sized cyborg beast whose body is far more synthetic than organic in composition, being approximately 70% metal. Out of all Coneforfad's part–machine animals, it is the closest to a true robot. The Taptohtnej's lower body consists of what essentially amounts to the lower part of a traditional tank vehicle, complete with leather–like "treading" that serves as the creature's means of locomotion in the absence of any true legs or feet. Protruding upwards from the center–top of the "tank" platform is a tall torso/neck structure, which contains the majority of the organic matter in the Taptohtnej's overall body. On top of this structure, in turn, rests the massive "head" of the beast, which almost resembles a pair of binoculars with its shape and two gigantic eyes that are almost wholly mechanical and in fact resemble the lenses of binoculars in multiple ways. The Taptohtnej's head structure contains its brain, which is very large, both proportionally and by general standards, and constitutes the largest concentrated mass of organic material in the creature's body. Also connected to the "head" are two short, clawed arms, attached to which are two small turret apparatuses. Another, larger cannon is also located in the front of the lower portion of the body. Ammunition for these guns is derived from excess metal on and within the Taptohtnej's body and thus severely limited, though it can be gradually replenished by consuming copious amounts of metal–based substances. Taptohtnejes are predictably scarce in number, and they reproduce asexually via planted, singular spores that are created approximately every year. They may live for well over a century, and are extremely omnivorous beings that will eat almost anything (including solid metal, as alluded to above), though surprisingly not in particularly large quantities, due to the fact that their bodies, being primarily mechanical, expend nutrient energy at a very slow rate. They are not innately hostile towards humanoids, but will attack given any significant provocation. Like all Coneforfadian species, Taptohtnejes have sensory–tuning antennae. All adult specimens of the species are more or less identical, and share a nearly consistent durability value that is almost exactly 7,000. This makes them among the most durable mortal creatures in the Prime Galaxy, and the most powerful entities on Coneforfad by far. Obviously, they each weigh multiple tons, and consequently measure among the heaviest of all mortal beasts as well. The demonic Edgarmiac loosely resembles the Taptohtnej, being akin to a smaller but more vicious version of the creature.

Fantasies shaped in your warm, fragrant breath as it mixes

into the air I breathe in

Gentle and knowing fingers that trace their way over my flesh

Moist, supple lips

Readily giving space for and simultaneously covering mine

Dances of meeting and separating

in sweetness eternally

needing one another more after each pause

building, ascending until we don’t remember what it means to breathe

breathing and feeling become one act

synchronized and effortless

guided without thought

no past having ever existed and no future toward which to move

nothing in sight

but you.

Just your breath

only the electricity of your skin

and how good each microscopic collision of its surface against mine

can feel, so overwhelmingly

right.

Hands and

lips,

gazes of desire

in ecstasy

entangled in a glimpse of nirvana

of nonexistence.

Through an ultimate act of existing

of affirming anther’s existence

their beauty;

your magic.

Letting go

to yearning

to be ever closer

ever a part of

the mesmerizing entity.

Pulling harder,

catching breaths that escape as fast as they enter

a gentle burn that

looks into your soul

as my love overflows

in multidirectional waves

of bliss.

Then all becomes momentarily tolerable.

Lying in a mixture of sweat

entangled effortlessly in

the most safety I have ever felt

in the arms and caresses of another;

in belonging.

Evolutionary ideas make some people nervous, for their supposed religious or ethical or moral implications. My internet presence is intended to present geologic and biologic information, but below is some sociopolitical and scientific commentary that tries to explain why evolutionary ideas shouldn’t make one uneasy or nervous when talking about fossils, the fossil record, and biologic change through time.

What is evolution? It means change. That’s it. A more complicated definition is change through time. Geologists can talk about the evolution of nonliving systems, such as the oceans, the atmosphere, the continents, mountain ranges, etc. Earth’s atmosphere has evolved through time. Earth’s oceans have evolved through time. One can also talk about the evolution of life. Life has changed through time. A genetic definition of evolution would be change in allele frequency. A mathematical definition would be (dDNA/dt) (change in DNA through time).

Evolution is a fact. Change has happened. That’s a fact. Change is happening now - change is observable, recordable, demonstrable. That’s a fact. Evolution is a fact. Life has changed in the past and is changing now. Anyone who says otherwise is either ignorant, willfully ignorant, stupid, lying, insane, or wicked (I've observed examples from all 6 categories).

Evolution is also a theory (a theory in science is a rigorously tested hypothesis or set of hypotheses; a theory in science is one small step below absolute certainty; a theory in science is well beyond a reasonable doubt). The theory of evolution is a set of ideas that explains how and why evolution has occurred and is occurring, at the genetic level, the organism level, and the ecological community level. That doesn't change the fact of evolution, however (change has happened & is happening now).

Well, doesn’t the fact of evolution have inherent religious, moral, and ethical implications? Not necessarily. Don’t be nervous. Don’t be uneasy. Evolutionary ideas, and science in general, say nothing about the existence or nonexistence of God. Evolutionary ideas, and science in general, are not inherently anti-religion or anti-Christianity.

Well, aren’t there two sides to the issue of evolution? The evolutionism side and the creationism side? [creationism = anti-evolutionism]

Nope.

First of all, evolution is not an “issue”. Many people consider that every issue has two sides - journalists are forced to think this way. Well, not everything has two sides to it. Some issues have more than two sides. Even if evolution was an “issue” (it isn’t, however), there are more than two sides to it. How many viewpoints are there when it comes to evolution?

Off the top of my head, we’ve got the following:

- Flat-Earth creationism

- Geocentric creationism

- Young-Earth creationism (YEC)

- Old-Earth creationism (OEC) (there are several varieties of this)

- Intelligent Design creationism (IDC) (a false category)

- Evolutionary creationism

- Theistic evolutionism

- Agnostic evolutionism (there are two varieties of this)

- Atheistic evolutionism

This is definitely not a “two sides issue”.

Flat-Earth creationism holds that God created the Earth several thousands of years ago, and that the Earth is flat, not ~spherical. Clearly nonsense. Commentary isn’t needed.

Geocentric creationism holds that God created the Earth several thousands of years ago, and that the Sun goes around the Earth, not vice-versa. Clearly nonsense. Demonstrated to be wrong 500 years ago - even longer ago than that by some ancient civilizations.

Young-Earth creationism holds that God created an Earth that is round and goes around the Sun, but it’s only several thousand years old, not 4.55 billion years old as scientists have determined.

Old-Earth creationism holds that God created Earth long, long ago. Different OEC views claim different ages for Earth, but some include the 4.55 billion year age. Some OEC views hold that Earth is infinitely old.

There’s quite a bit of discussion out there about intelligent design creationism. First of all, IDC advocates refer to their ideas as “theory”. Wrong wrong wrong. IDC is anything but a theory. The misuse of the word “theory” is widespread in society, unfortunately. Journalists, politicians, lawyers, and Hollywood chronically misuse the word. I’ve noticed many scientists misusing it as well. What it actually means is discussed above (see the 4th paragraph). Evolution is a theory (it’s also a fact). IDC is not a theory. It’s an hypothesis that includes testable and nontestable aspects. The testable aspects have been shown to be wrong. The nontestable aspects are not part of science, by definition. IDC is not a theory. That’s not my opinion. That’s the way it is. (IDC advocates and some politicians and some legal people want to change the definition of science to get around all of this - they’re not allowed to do that. Non-scientists have no say about the definitions of science terms.)

Secondly, I look at IDC a bit differently than most folks. I would suggest that IDC is a false category on the spectrum of views listed above. For one thing, not all IDC advocates say the same thing - there is no single, consistent message coming out of the IDC camp. If one just picks one IDC advocate, one usually finds different things being said to different audiences (it turns out that they engage in this dishonesty on purpose, for sociopolitical reasons - I’ve personally observed this with Jonathan Wells, for example - creationwiki.org/pool/images/thumb/0/04/Jonathan_wells.jp...). Some IDCs talk as if they are YECs. Some sound like OECs. Some sound like they’re evolutionary creationists or theistic evolutionists. The easiest way to deal with this confusion is to declare IDC a false category. That's what I do and that's what I would encourage others to do.

Apparently, evolutionary creationists believe that God created the Earth 4.55 billion years ago, accept that Earth is round, that Earth goes around the Sun, and that life has evolved on Earth just as the fossil record indicates. But, through geologic time, God has “tinkered” (in terms of miraculous or supernatural intervention) with the evolution of life on Earth along the way so that humans would appear as they are here & now.

Theistic evolutionists believe that God created the Earth 4.55 billion years ago, accept that Earth is round, that Earth goes around the Sun, and that life has evolved on Earth just as the fossil record indicates. But, through geologic time, God has not “tinkered” with evolution of life as it goes along. Rather, God set up physicochemical and biochemical laws at the creation of the Universe so that life would evolve on Earth the way it did, without having to “interfere” or “tinker” along the way (in terms of miraculous or supernatural intervention).

Agnostic evolutionists either know that there is no way to determine the existence or nonexistence of God, or aren’t sure if there’s a way to determine the existence or nonexistence of God. As such, there’s no way to know (it’s a “known unknown”), or it’s not known if there’s a way to know (it’s an “unknown unknown”), if God played a role with the evolution of life on Earth or not.

Atheistic evolutionists point out that there is no objective, verifiable, physical evidence for the existence of the supernatural. Many people incorrectly perceive that atheism is required in order to comfortably accept evolution. NOPE. As an example, the Catholic Church publicly acknowledges the excellent scientific evidence for evolution and has declared that the reality of evolution does not interfere with belief in God. You don’t have to be an atheist to accept evolution.

Evolutionism ≠ Atheism

and

Christianity ≠ Creationism

The point here is - there’s no such thing as two sides to the “issue” of evolution. Evolution isn’t an issue anyway. There’s abundant evidence for evolution (e.g., molecular chemistry, genetics, soft part morphology, hard part morphology, embryology, homologous parts, atavisms, vestigial organs, breeding/artificial selection, antibiotic-resistant bacteria, body-plan convergence, genome comparisons, and the fossil record). There’s NO evidence inconsistent with evolutionary theory. None whatsoever. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. But this doesn’t have inherent implications regarding belief in God - many theists accept the reality of evolution.

Some creationists or theists claim that various scientific findings (e.g., the “fine-tuning” of the universal constants [sic]) have demonstrated the existence of God. Nope. Universal constants are the way they are as a consequence of reality, not the other way around. What does science say about religious beliefs? “No comment”. Science is based on facts & observations from nature. It's not based on beliefs. Never has been. Never will be. Whether you like it or not.

Some consider “belief” in evolution to be equivalent to a religious belief. It is not. The question “Do you believe in evolution?” is based on a false premise. Evolution is not something one “believes” in or not. This question has the same level of nonsense as the question “Do you believe that the sky is blue?” Well, the sky is blue whether you believe it or not. Evolution is real and is factual, whether you like it or not. No one “believes” or “doesn’t believe” in evolution - those aren’t options. One either accepts the reality of evolution or doesn't (= reality denial).

Some consider evolution to be a “belief” because it is not falsifiable (one of the criteria for ideas to be part of science). Well, that’s not so. If one found australopithecine fossils in the same sedimentary rock beds as Isotelus maximus trilobite fossils, then evolution is falsified. If one found Tyrannosaurus rex theropod dinosaur fossils in the same sedimentary rock beds as Dickinsonia costata Ediacaran fossils, then evolution is falsified. If one found a single fossil bunny rabbit in the Precambrian, then evolution is falsified. There’s a nearly infinite number of ways to potentially falsify evolution. However, no one has yet found a single piece of evidence that falsifies evolution. Evolution is not a belief. Evolution is falsifiable.

Some don’t accept or like evolution because the concept is perceived to have inspired atheistic evil doers in history - for example Josef Stalin and Adolf Hitler. Well, Hitler was Catholic and German soldiers were required to have references to God on their uniform. Hitler burned many books, including Darwin's "On the Origin of Species". In Russia, Stalin did his evil deeds in the name of Communism, not based on evolutionary biology (indeed, many Russian communist scientists engaged in anti-evolutionary pseudoscience - for example, Lysenkoism). Several celebrities in history have “used” evolutionary ideas to promote everything from capitalism to pacifism to anarchy to socialism - that’s a wide-ranging spectrum. There is obviously NO trend there. Saying evolutionism inspires evil is as ridiculous as saying vegetarianism inspires evil.

Evolutionary concepts don’t have to make one nervous or uneasy. Just relax. Calm down. Appreciate evolutionary ideas for what they are - explanations for some of the most wondrously complex systems in the Universe.
