I'm glad to see some bees on my clover patch this year. The last couple of years, there hasn't been as many as usual.

I don't know about you, but I hadn't budgeted for studded shoes in 2026 to help me stand upright in a world that's increasingly tilting.

"When your world is tilting, don't tilt with it" wrote the unknown philosopher Lance Unba.

Digging through the archives...from last year. A few years ago, the auto-focus on my 100mm macro lens crapped out, and I've really missed using that lens more often. Very hard to catch critters with manual focus!
