I'm glad to see some bees on my clover patch this year. The last couple of years, there hasn't been as many as usual.
The great thing about Banana Spiders is that they like to stay in the same spot. As long as they aren't disturbed, you can go back for weeks and find the same spider, although much bigger, every time.
OK, yes, I took more than a couple of shots at this spot. I was just trying to cover all my bases, since it is a pretty long walk (for me) to get there. You'll probably see this scene again, too, as I plan to return after Autumn has had a chance to settle in.
As you can see, the scene is much greener than my earlier, manipulated, version.

OK, so I'll still post a few photos over the coming week, but don't expect much in my descriptions or titles. Just got back from dentist and found out that the roots of one of my molars has broken in two. (yes, it's swollen, and yes, it hurts) Or, at least it did hurt. He put me on anti-biotics, along with Perkoset for pain. Now have to wait for swelling to go down, so he can pull.
That won't be until Monday, so don't expect much from me this week...

One of the more upscale homes on our road that I usually drive by without really looking. During the 2016 flood, this yard was flooded all the way up to the road.
These day lillies are putting on their best show to attract the pollinators, and making art at the same time.
