Project 365 // Day 202
This is a "Batsu" (highly-stylized line of urban vinyl figurines) TMNT figure from NECA, based on the TMNT graphic novels. Originally, the Ninja Turtles all wore red bandanas, and brown belt/elbow and knee guards, they were only differentiated by their distinctive personalities and weaponry – it wasn't until the cartoon series that they were each given specific colors (in Leonardo's case, blue).

This is my first attempt at lighting that's more dynamic or moody. I'm never quite satisfied, but the results are decent.
I created this vignette to celebrate 29 radical years of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Hidden in the scenes are 29 turtle allies and enemies, as featured in the comics, movies, cartoons, and toys. Can you find them all?
(Here's a hint - the Turtle Blimp counts as one of the 29.)

Thank you for any group invites which I'd be glad to accept. However, if I can't check the content of such groups ("This group is not available to you") I'd rather not add any of my photos. Thanks for your understanding.
These are the Playmates Classics TMNT figures the way I think they should've been made in the first place! I gave their weapons cartoon accurate colors, the straps on Leonardo and Donatello were removed, their belt buckles are now cartoon accurate and I added just a little bit of lining, in the same style the NECA turtles were painted, but much more subtle, since the cartoon style of the cartoon was very simple looking, so that's the way I went here. I also fineshed the whole look with a matt lacquer, that way I got rid of the plastic shine they had, and now they look totally cartoony and fit more with something Mezco could've done (like their South Park and Scott Pilgrim lines)
WIP Turtle Lair, with street and sewer levels. All modular, so they can be disassembled for easy access to any section.
The sever level already divides into six rooms for the Ninja Turtles (working right to left in the pic above):
Sewer Entrance
Kitchen
Living Room
Workout Room
Splinter's Dojo
Don's Workshop
Right now, I'm working on the street level, trying to find the proper layout and figuring out what, exactly, I want it to contain. Antonio's Pizza-rama is a no brainer, but the rest is up for grabs. Although I do like the way the bank looks up there, and I want at least one alleyway for Foot Soldier ambushes.
This is a pretty basic chamber, and acts as, essentially, the Turtles' front porch when the whole sewer is combined.
