On a chilly Saturday, The Hosts of The Fan Bros Show and good friends of mine attended The Five Points Festival where we had the extreme pleasure of witnessing art based in Comic Book Culture.

The new road plate experiment continues. Still a heavy WIP, but it's coming together really well. Stability is proving not to be much of an issue. I'm gonna need to order even more tiles, though.
There is now a fully underground Ninja Turtle Sewer Lair beneath Playset Street. The top of the street can be removed for access to the large lair beneath. I plan on detailing it with a kitchen area and some weapons racks later on. Plus, the entire block section can be removed for access to the sewer tunnels running under Grayskull and Ghostbusters HQ.
While waiting on a couple of Bricklink orders to complete Castle Grayskull, I killed some time by rigging up a simple sewer entrance for the turtles right across the street from the Ghostbusters in Hobbesville.

So I went looking through some local stores and managed to find some much sought after dolls and figures!
First off, I came across this cool 1/6 scale Donatello figure from the Ninja Turtles live action film, and I liked him enough to get him! He looks great next to my other figures! At another store, I found the gorgeous Fancy In Flowers Fashionistas doll, as well as the WWE 12 inch Sheamus figure, both of whom I'd been secretly wanting for some time now! and lastly, I randomly came across this LITDH Raquelle doll, that I wished to own everytime I saw her in pictures, and here she is now!!!
It sure was a great shopping trip!
My brickheadz Turtles team updated with some improvements. Unfortunately I had to use a part that doesn't exist in this color... It's unusual in my build!
Was supposed to be mowing my lawn, caught him surfing flickr!!
I tellz ya, turtles these days!
Hope U have a Happy Kung Fu Friday!
Hi Guys!
Here are the parts you need to make a pretty decent lego custom Casey Jones based on the TMNT 2012 cartoon.
HEADGEAR - to the headgear a black hood or a short tousled black hair works.
HEAD - you can use Taskmaster's head for the mask and Mutt Williams head for unmasked Casey ( however you should had a black bandana decal ).
BODYWEAR - I think that this Brick Warriors gladiator pauldron works fantastic on the figure. But i think you should paint it to be more accurate to the series.
TORSO - A simple black torso works out nice. But what would stay pretty awesome would be the series 10 baseball fielder glove. Maybe you should had a little detail like the paint marks he has on his body in the series.
LEGWEAR - I found this knee pads that painted on black would stay awesome.
LEGS - For the legs every jeans like legs work.
LEGWEAR 2 - I also think that the lego roller skates are cool to Casey.
ACCESSORIES - A lego bat ,a lego hockey stick and a brickforge golf club are the best weapons you can find for Casey.
CREDITS - I must credit jeepercreepers2014 for the Taskmaster head and the roller skates and Hobbestimus for the gladiator pauldron.
BUY - You can buy most of this parts on Firestar toys. The ones you can't are the hockey stick, mutt williams head, taskmaster head and the baseball fielder glove.
PLEASE GIVE CREDIT!
The pics for LEGO Ideas can't include all this other stuff, but all this other stuff is the reason I build.
Working on Max Ray today, I realized my 1980s city had nowhere for the Aquatic Specialist characters to thrive. So just to see what it would look like, I swapped the Terror Drome with a park with a little lake in the middle.
I like the extra space, and I could fill it in with benches and maybe a little dock. Fun stuff like that.
But at the same time I kind of miss the ridiculousness of the Terror Drome in the center of town. But I could put the GI Joe TTBP in the water...hmmm...
Thoughts?
