So September's still got a few more hours, but rubber masks and fun size candy bars already rule the store shelves. It put me in the holiday spirit.
Mumm-Ra, Miles Mayhem, Skeletor, Cobra Commander, a Spectral Ghostbuster*, Doc Terror, and Krang. Eeeeeeeevil.
*it's a thing. Google it. That franchise is not great as arch-enemies go.
My brickheadz Turtles team updated with some improvements. Unfortunately I had to use a part that doesn't exist in this color... It's unusual in my build!
Of five. Just sharing a few of the people in my life.
I've had this jacket since I was 17 or 18 years old. I hope to have it when I'm 80 or 90 (to be optimistic). At that point, I shall bequeath it to the coolest young person I know... so long as he/she knows what a Ninja Turtle even is. That might be a challenge.

One of the undisputed truths of collecting is the barriers of the Multiverse are going to fade away. Sooner or later all those collectibles belonging to different universes are going to interact. It’s inevitable.
In fact that’s how this story begun.
One day the First Order Intelligence (which I know it’s an oxymoron) informed the Supreme Tantrum-Thrower Kylo Ren of the mysterious appearance of reptilian-like figures.
Kylo never reminds if they are snakes or turtles. He was never good at zoology, or anything not related with his pathetic ego, and he surely wouldn’t care about these figures.
However these reptilians have started to meddle with Kylo’s affairs, trying to help people and doing other good actions that make the Tantrum Knight sick with disgust.
He ordered his loyal servants to track them down and they reported to have spotted one those Turtles. Kylo himself leads the the expedition.
After watching the First Order forces failing to see what they had before their eyes the Turtle decides to show himself. He was getting bored.
“Oh! We found the Snake!” Kylo exclaims.
“I’m a TURTLE not a SNAKE” comes the quick reply.
“Turtle, Snake… Do I look like someone who knows the difference between a Turtle and a Snake?”
“Why did I say it?- he whispers to one of his Stormtroopers- It makes me look like a complete idiot!”
“It’s because who writes these stories wants to make you look like a complete idiot, Boss”
“Right! I forgot about him! I hate him! He must be a friend of Skywalker for sure!”
“That’s a good point- interrupts the Turtle- You look like someone who doesn’t know the difference between Sun and Star”.
“You arrogant Snake! I’m know it very well!”
“Quick! Tell me the difference between Sun and Star!” he orders to his Stormtroopers
“They are the same thing, idiot- the Turtle mocks him- and he is supposed to be a Science Fiction character.”
“Who do you think you are to interfere with the plans of the Great, Greatest and Most Greatest [It’s Kylo’s trademark] Kylo Ren?”
“They call me Leonardo” replies the Turtle.
“Leonardo? What a silly name! Ha Ha! Don’t you know there is only one badass name in the Universe: Kylo! Any other name is silly! Ha Ha!”
“Your name is irrelevant. I will crush you- Kilo threatens- I’ll show you the price for bothering the Great, Greatest and Most Greatest…”
*Beep* *Beep*
The sound of his personal holo-communicator attracts his attention: it’s the “Darth Vader Collectibles Recovery Team”.
“Tell me, what did you find?”
“We found what appears to be one of the buttons from Vader’s suit”
“Wonderful! Are you sure it’s original?”
“Yes, Boss. The charlatan…um… respected antiquities trader who is selling it says so.”
“Great! I’m on my way”.
“Crush the Snake- he commands one of his Stormtroopers- I have more important things. Make him suffer, use him for a soup… anything you want. Vader! I’m coming! The button of your suit will join my collection!”
“No problem, Boss. It will be a cake walk” states the Stormtrooper.
He was completely wrong and the heroic Turtle makes short work of the evil servant of the Tantrum Knight.
The Turtle is Bandai Ninja Turtles (or more precisely Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles aka TMNT) Leonardo Action Figure while the Stormtrooper is Bandai Model Kit of the First Order Executioner Stormtrooper.
I wanted to add a short parody story to this photo but I guess I got carried and I wrote a not very short one lol :)

My first attempt at the Party Wagon was about five years ago, and it was showing its age. LEGO introduced some new parts (and some old parts in new colors) since then. So, I decided to have another go at the Turtles' primary mode of transport.
I tried to recreate the old toy as best I could, even including the rear engine (just a sticker on the original toy).
I couldn't get the seat on the Foot Tenderizer to work as well as I wanted it to and still be able to hold all four turtles when it was closed up, so for now that element is just a rack with some spare ninja gear. I'll probably revisit that later.
While I still have my large sewer MOC on a shelf in my LEGO room, I wanted a representation of the TMNT on the Hobbesville map.
So I took a blank spot near the City tram stop and built the 80s Sewer Playset.
But just the above ground parts. Since this is built on LEGO road baseplate, I had to cut everything subterranean.
But it still has such exciting action features like a high voltage battle swing and...uh...a pipe. A big pipe. And a fire hydrant with an eye on it. And a fence!

Shredder rides around in a drill tank with a Rhino and a Warthog and we still considered him a ninja.
This past weekend I took a stab at the Foot Clan's main mode of transportation.
The wheel assemblies here aren't accurate to the tank treads from the TV show, but they do actually allow this model to roll.
Fraunces Tavern, national landmark, the only few blocks in downtown preserved since 1800s, surrounded by wall street giant skyscrapers.

60 Centre Street in downtown Manhattan. This is the actual location of the scene from the original TMNT movie where April leaves the courthouse. Patiently waiting, Raphael follows her into the Subway to see if she still has his lost sai she took when she was rescued earlier in the film. A great thanks for the custom NY Post newspaper made by Pizza Party Kitchen. It helped me recreate this scene with my Raphael figure.
