The striking logo on another classic car @ the fayre.
I would also like to thank Billnbenj who wrote me a great testimonial a couple of days ago. Their photostream is certainly worth having a browse through: www.flickr.com/photos/billnbenj/
A popular view over the beach at Lowestoft from the South Pier. It was looking particularly fine in the good weather.
I have got a few photos here before which can be seen here
A stash of beer cans I had ready for recycling. Before I threw them out though, I thought I would try & get a bit creative with them.
For anyone wondering the cans were from collected over the course of several weeks & not just one evening (honest).
A spot of processing on a mask here, swapping the colour scheme round making white black & vice versa.
This shot made it to Explore on 03/08/2014 - Thanks for looking everyone.
I went down to Laguna Seca late last month to check out the Speed Ventures track day and Radical Sports car and EXR races. I took a bunch of photos digitally (to be posted shortly), but also brought along a new-to-me old film SLR; a Nikon F-801s. I thought this was supposed to AF with all of my Nikkor lenses, but it wouldn't work for me; so pardon some missed-focus shots; I had to do it manually. If R1 is in the image name, it was taken on Agfa Photo Vista 200; R2 was Ektar 100. Taken with one of the following lenses:
Nikon 24mm f/1.8G
Nikon 50mm f/1.8D
Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II
Nikon 300mm f/2.8 VR I
Most of these could be improved in Lightroom or whatever, and I may do that eventually, but I'm posting these raw scans as-is, because that was the point of shooting the film for me, and I'm spending plenty of time in LR for the digital photos anyway. ^_^
The pilot boat was on it's way to meet this blue boat. There was certainly a difference in size here.
My final shot from Southwold Harbour (for now). This was part of a collection of boats lined up along the harbour pathway.
Cheap, greasey, lumpy & that's just the people in the restaurant.
Despite this I do enjoy the occassional KFC. The sign I thought was worth a shot too while I was out on my night photography expedition.
I must admit though I felt rather self conscious taking this shot so it was a bit rushed, but I am pleased with how it turned out.
It was so funny and random, but one of the Barnett aunts brought along this hilarious beaver mascot costume to the surprise party. It fit Hunter fine so he donned it for the moment of surprise.

Star featured not so long ago in my photo stream. Back then he was making a dramatic leap over a barrier & he was doing the same again here. He really does make it look so easy.
There aren't many gardens round here which can say they have bamboo growing in them. The exotic garden can though, it had a couple of large clumps of bamboo growing.
On the way home from Aldeburgh, I stopped off at Thorpeness.
It had grown cloudy by the time I arrived. The sky looked threatening when I was walking round the boating lake. It made for a good photo though.
I got a photo of Zander when he happened to be walking past the house. His fee for the photoshoot was a chew stick.
Nikon F301 + Nikon 50mm 1.8 Series E

The exotic garden in Henstead might be familiar to people who look at my stream regularly.
It was open again recently & had more to look at than ever. This plant was one of the first to catch my eye. I liked the light on it and the green & white colours.
I came across this impressive looking Ferrari when I went to a country fayre in Heveningham.
Although there was a car show there, this was just in the visitors area & wasn't an exhibit. It reminded me of the time I saw another a Ferrari at Tesco
Unfortunately Bonnies owner is still unwell, so I decided to repeat my previous good deed & take her out again.
This shot was taken while we were out on a walk. Bonnie certainly enjoyed herself and posed for the camera again. Her original walk can be seen here
I have got a photo of the famous Scallop Sculpture on Aldeburgh beach before. It was looking particularly good on this day though, so I decided to get few more shots.
This one has the Scallops at a slightly different perspective. The metal looked a particularly attractive with the sun and blue sky against it - shame about the car in the background.
The only annoying thing was that there were children clambering over it while their parents watched not saying anything. The sculpture is artwork not a playground!
My orginal shot of the Scallops can be seen here
A colourful fishing net laying on Aldeburgh Beach. I liked the contrast between the colours in the net & the shingle it was laying on.
Near the church at Blythburgh is a path which lets you walk along the River Blythe. It is scenic walk & it was looking particularly good when I went as it was a fine day.
The clouds being reflected in the water were an especially striking sight.

The clouds weren't so dramatic compared to previous sunrises, but I was struck by the 'rays' being given off.
It looks like there were lots of people jetting abroad early in the morning. The sky was full of airplane trails, you can see a few here in this shot.
