It's been wet, cold & miserable here just recently. This has limited my photo opportunities, but it has provided a few as well.
The other morning after some heavy rain, there were several spiders webs glistening with droplets on them. I enjoyed going around getting photos of them and this close up shot was my favourite.
The festive season is upon us, so it must be time for Mac's Christmas pose.
Here he is with bells on to wish everyone on Flickr a Merry Christmas.

This large tower is known as the Orbit sculpture. It is meant to be a landmark in the Olympic park overlooking the main stadium.
The tower is taller than the Statue of Liberty and cost around £23 million to construct. Around £19 million of that was provided by an Indian magnate & the rest was stumped up by the taxpayers of London.

A couple of weeks ago I tried doing some slow shutter speed photos of the sea.
Ever since then I have been hunting for my old tripod, so I can try it again. I finally tracked the tripod down the other day, so I rushed off to the beach at dusk to try a few shots.
I managed to get rather damp feet, but I thought it was worth it. This shot was one of my favourite efforts from my time with the tripod.
I have had a busy run up to Easter, so I have been a bit slack on my comments just recently. I will hopefully catch up with all your photos again in the next day or so.

This shot made it to Explore on 19/02/2014. Thanks for looking everyone.
if you were ever going to go out in a kimono (except for a wedding etc), springtime cherry blossom viewing would have to be the ideal time to wear a kimono. it is still cool so you are not going to get hot wearing it all the layers, and it is just so aesthetically pleasing to see ladies wearing kimono looking at cherry blossoms. i think at the time they were looking at a digital camera, pity i didn't get a shot from the front as it would have been good to show the modern and traditional aspects.
I heard yesterday, the sad news that one of the Red Arrow pilots, John Egging, had died in a crash at an air festival in Bournemouth. The pilot managed to steer his plane away from houses & toward an empty field before crashing, an act that no doubt saved many lives.
After hearing this, I thought I would post another Red Arrow photo as a tribute.
I have recently heard that Mac has been hanging out with a gang. Concerned about this, I headed down to the beach to see what was going on.
It didn't take long for Mac to hook up with his gang. It turned out they were all local dogs who live round the corner. I managed to get a shot of them all lined up, from left to right they are - Socks, Cosby, Molly & Mac.
Socks is making his debut on Flickr whereas Molly & Cosby have been on here before:

Last month I tried a spot of night photography & I rather enjoyed it.
I thought I would try my hand at it again, so I went out one evening recently to have another go.
This building here is Notleys Bar / Club & it is where many residents of Lowestoft descend on a weekend. I think the bright lights draw them to it like some kind of beacon.
