A couple of holiday cottages that are very common in Southwold. This pair had a particularly good location being right above the beach and having a sea view.

The sun makes a full appearence for Christmas.

An inside shot of one of the houses along the row. It looked rather cosy I thought.

A classic auto show beauty.

Another dramatic wave hits the groyne after the brief period of calm.

It has been quite a while since I took any stained glass photos. This changed on my visit to Norwich. I was able to get a few stained glass photos when I called into St Johns Church next to the Belgian Monk.

There was a lot of stained glass in the church & I had an enjoyable time admiring it & taking some photos.

Later on in the day the blue sky was gone. It had been replaced by some striking cloud which created a slightly eerie light on the beach.

In the Maritime Museum, there was an exhibit dedicated to the invention of the Hovercraft - which happened in Somerleyton nearby.

This was one of the actual machines used in the development of the Hovercraft. It had an impressive number of dials on it.

I took a little walk around Sproughton Mill on Sunday. I was probably half an hour too late to catch the sun on the front of the mill but I think it still makes quite a nice scene. And, it's an excuse to pop back!

I did my best with the sky and just about managed to pull all the detail from it using Lightroom! Lightroom really is a wonderful tool, and it's saved my arse on more than one occasion!

So, London 2012 is over (booo!) and wasn't it fantastic!? Putting Team GB's performance aside for a moment, I still think it was a tremendous games, but when I think about Team GB and all the wonderful moments they provided I get goosebumps. Especially a certain Mr (Sir?) Mo Farrah!

Anyway, football season starts again today (yay!) with Ipswich Town's first game of the season in the Capital One Cup. I shall be there, so I will start to catch up with you all tomorrow.

Enjoy the rest of the week!
