Another shot in a series of street photography. While enjoying some coffee in between exploring the sights and sounds of downtown DC, I noticed these old friends having a nice discussion. I really loved the play of light off of their faces, as well as the emotiveness of the gal on the left.
Wildlife is protected in Yosemite National Park, humans are not. This has become the norm in the United States.
•The truth about Yosemite: www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/Sexual-Harassment-Common-in...
Gang Staking, Community Stalking and Workplace Mobbing flourish in Yosemite National Park. These illegal, immoral and unethical acts are carried out by employees, residents and contractors of Yosemite. These illegal acts are allowed as Yosemite’s Superintendent and Law Enforcement look the other way.
Thank you for visiting my

Its fun to play with all the possibilities you have in Lightroom. But this time I may gone to far. I tried the filter collection called "Silver Efex Pro" by google and I'm not sure if I will need the additional features for my future work...
What do you think? Somebody here using the Nik Collection?

Intensiv.

Our autumn season is quickly drawing to a close. There are more bare trees now and we had our first snowfall on the evening of Nov 8th. At the arboretum the leaves are falling faster than the park assistants can keep up. The wind wasn't much today but the leaves at times were falling like rain. This scene caught my eye with the bench in the center. There was a couple and a portraint photographer hanging around the bench prior to this shot.
I had not planned to take this. I was looking the other way, at the landslips, that have affected Folkestone. Converted to black and white using Silver Efex.
I've subtitled this image "Victory Lap." The Iowa pheasant hunting season is over and he made it. I prefer to go hunting with my Canon rather than a shotgun anyway.
Sunday 19.3.2017- no lightning to speak of just a couple of storm cells moving through the Junee Shire NSW Australia, from east to west. Normally tracking west to east.
A green frog from our front garden.
For this one I used the SB-500 flash plus a small light reflector.

In case you're looking for some good post-editing software at an excellent price, check out Google's 'NIK Collection'. Years ago, when it was first introduced, this software cost around $500. After Google bought it, they lowered the price to the $150 range. They're now giving it away for FREE, and it includes the whole collection including Silver Effects Pro. Don't pass this up...just google 'nik collection and get yours... :)
The dying city...
The town is noted for its striking position on top of a plateau of friable volcanic tuff overlooking the Tiber river valley.
It is in constant danger of destruction as the edges of the plateau collapse due to erosion, leaving the buildings to crumble as their underlying support falls away

A friend once told me that I had it better living in Oakland, because when I go out I get to look at San Francisco but when he goes out he has to look at Oakland. He may be right, but in this picture I got a chance to look at both as well as the beautiful curves of Highway 24.
A double-exposure effect created with NIK Collection's Analog Efex Pro.
The base photo was originally shot for the Macro Mondays Part of My Daily Routine theme, but not used.
Continuing my wander through the archives with this frame of a cold front moving over Mercury Passage.
Mercury Passage lies between Tasmania and Maria Island and was named after HMS Mercury, commanded by John Henry Cox, who charted the area in 1789.
