I took these three frames in the course of one perfect day wandering around Oslo.

I simply couldn't pick one neither did I want to repeat the similarity in my feed. So... a triptych!

The frames are sequential and about 4 hours from 1 to 3.

1) RÃ¥dhuset - Oslo City Hall

2) RÃ¥dhusplassen - The Harbour

3) Tjuvholmen - Accommodation and Business Centre

Zomervakantie Harz, Quedlinburg.

It was a cold foggy start to the morning on Tuesday 18th Nov 2014 so I took the opportunity of a late start at work to grab an hour down by the River Dee in Chester to grab a few shots.

All the images where processed using Adobe Lightroom and Google Colour Efex Pro 4:

Looking southeast from the F435 across the plain of the Svínahraun lava field to Blákollur (532m) Sauðadalahnúkar (583m) center and Vífilsfell, (655m) volcanoes. This scene was shot southwest of Þingvellir National Park and once again in the rift valley formed by the plate boundary. The Svínahraun field dates from about 1000 years ago.

Route 1 - the Hringvegur or Suðurlandsvegur at this point runs right through the frame at the foot of the mountains. It's possible to make out a line of cars at the left if you zoom in.

The Mayo River tumbles over a rocky patch as it makes its way downstream…

I’m setting here again, with my door open. If not; my neighbors stomp at my door and pass my room, like school children having tantrums. For reals….. I wish the Superintendent had an open-door policy.

Enjoy the fall colors, many more to come.

Yosemite will remain Extremely Toxic until there is common sense and accountability. Why is that so hard to understand? Until then, you may want to leave your dignity at the gate.

What is happening in Yosemite is WRONG!

Yosemite’s current Superintendent is: Michael T Reynolds

Nominated Director National Parks Services is: David Vela

Sunrise at Cap Prim, another example of finding a nice location by scouring the coastline using Google Maps before heading out into the unknown.

At this time of year sunrise is early enough as it is, so having a plan of what to shoot is important... who needs to be getting up earlier than you have to! Using street view I already had an idea of where to park, and another 360 degree photo had confirmed that these rocks were worth investigating.

As much as I hate getting out of bed, the silence and solitude of the dawn makes up for it!

While I was at the Outer Banks there were a couple of morning the surf was just insane! One morning I had shot at Bodie lighthouse, and grabbed breakfast, but I wanted to grab some more images of the surf. So, I ended up under Avalon Pier, trying to make sure I didn't get caught in the waves. I think I was moderately successful. ;-)

TO EVERYONE OUT THERE, PLEASE TAKE CARE AND BE SAFE.

The Cobb came to fame in 1969 when the novel 'The French Lieutenant's Woman' was published.

The story was adapted to a film in 1981 and starred Jeremy Irons and Meryl Streep as the principal characters.

As I walked this ridgeline I came upon these slabs of granite that looked as if they could be shelves on a wall.

If trying to survive in a culture of constant bullying, intimidation, corruption, mobbing, stalking and harassment; what kind of Shelf Life do you think you would have? Such a culture is thriving in Yosemite National Park. Those in power will deny it, so will those involved. Those that dedicate their lives to this Park, don’t dare stand up to the status queue of incompetence, corruption and intimidation. If they do so, they will risk their careers, their families, their livelihood, their Civil and Constitutional Rights. They will become Targeted Individuals.

This link shows examples of this immoral culture and acceptable behavior in Yosemite National Park:

Gang Staking, Community Stalking and Workplace Mobbing are thriving in Yosemite National Park. These immoral and illegal acts are carried out by my coworkers, neighbors, residents and contractors. They are allowed by Yosemite’s Law Enforcement and Superintendent.

Very late in the blue hour at Lake Vhvanen near Myhinpääntie, north-east of Jyväskylä in Central Finland.

Another variation of the shot I posted yesterday. Same shot, different treatment in Lightroom and Nik Collection

@pinomangione qui sì che puoi dire che ho esagerato con la post ahah :)

per questa foto mi sono divertita a simulare un effetto pellicola con il pacchetto della nik collection... Per una volta ci sta esagerare dai :D

Zomervakantie Harz, Quedlinburg.

The Milky Way core rising over Maria Island and the Tasman Sea. Jupiter and Antares making a big show over Mercury Passage and the effects of fires inland can be seen on in the colour of the core right on the horizon.

Australian indigenous peoples used the dark spaces in the sky for their Dreaming stories. The Coalsack Nebula forms the head of an emu and the dust lanes leading back to the core form the neck and body.

This is a two frame composite image blended crudely in PS and my first real shot/s in anger with three elements all at once. The Z6, the Nikkor 14-30/4 S and a Skytracker.

I think the lens is sharp enough in the dark but my alignment of the tracker was off just a fraction - the stars are not as sharp as they could be. Aligning the tracker isn't that easy as we have no Polaris in the southern hemisphere - just a faint 4th mag star that takes a bit of finding.

My takeaways were to raise the ISO and drop the exposure time. Turn High ISO NR to ON...

Anyway it was a nice night to be looking out to sea :-)

So I found out that the Google Nik Collection is now free. I downloaded the plugins for my Adobe Photoshop and played around a bit. The Analog Efex Pro 2 is the one I used for the filter and blur, otherwise I did no other alterations to my original screenshot.
