All of Fjordland is stunning, Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound definitely battle for the most stunning of the stunning. Here, a nice soft sunrise is creeping up on Mitre Peak as the tide comes in.

Sliders Sunday
The Birds of Tiergarten :-) Crows gathering for the night in Berlin's Tiergarten park nearby the conference hall / House of the World's Cultures. Taken on the Spree side of the conference hall during the blue hour photowalk with Sabine.R (our blue hour captures of the conference hall were taken on the backside of the building). The late evening sky was cloudless and at that point pale blue. So I decided to give this capture the "Nik Color Efex treatment" and jazz it up with some of its colour filters. There were quite many crows, busily flying around before settling for the night, they were pretty talkative, or should I say noisy, too. But friendly (though we've heard of crow attacks during breeding season), minding their own business :-)

Die Vögel vom Tiergarten
Krähenansammlung zur Nacht in der Nähe der Berliner Kongresshalle. Aufgenommen auf der Spreeseite der Kongresshalle, bevor Sabine.R und ich für die Blaue-Stunde-Fotos zur Rückseite des Gebäudes gingen. Die Krähen machten einen ganz schönen Lärm, waren aber friedlich (es gab ja schon Meldungen von Attacken auf Menschen während der Brutsaison). Für Sliders Sunday habe ich den zu diesem Zeitpunkt blassblauen Himmel mit Farbfiltern der Nik Collection (Color Efex) ein wenig aufgepeppt. Ich hoffe, es gefällt Euch.

Another shot from Portwrinkle last night, a bit earlier in the evening before the sun dived down behind the big bank of clouds that obscured the sunset!
Although I usually prefer longer exposures for water, when it's rough like this a shorter exposure time can emphasize the shape and ferocity of waves, definitely not a time to be out at sea.

This is one of my favorites because of all the windows. They look out at some of the loveliest views in any American city - the Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains...
This is the western side of the ridgeline I mentioned in my last post. It’s easier to hike but you don’t get the beautiful views of the other side. My next couple of post will give you a couple of samples of the eastern view. Also in my last post I mentioned that my daughter gifted me a pair of cargo pants. She also bought me a Coolmax T Shirt, both from Duluth Trading Co, the pants are Dry on the Fly Cargo Pants. I have to hand to Duluth; they make quality clothing and I highly recommend them.
Now for the title; as with all my post I tell the truth and with many it’s hard to except. My attempt is not to offend the general public and I know I can be; well lest say, more than just a bit cynical. In my defense and that of every Targeted Individual; you see the worst in people every day. The lowest forms of humanity will crawl out from Under Rocks; to harass, torment, psychologically mess with your head, discredit and defame you. And, with each post I receive retaliation as I did today, but I will not let it detour me from exposing the truth.
