I just did not now how to shoot this place.
It was too obvious just getting the people all lined up.
A closeup was interesting, but flat.
Then as I was going back to my bicycle I turned around and 🎶
--- cue the photo music.... a tree, a puddle and drizzle -- 🎶
2 miles peddling home wet with a big smile on my face...
no wonder people were staring at the crazed old man...

This picture was taken last fall near Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City. Intensity and pervasiveness of autumn color tends to be best in the eastern parts of Canada because of the sugar maple trees.
Last night my dream was blanketed with fiery reds, oranges, crimsons and golds. This shot is one of my old haunts that I must have revisited many times in my dreams.
