One New Year's resolution that I don't mind keeping.

Created with fd's Flickr Toys.

For too long a time now I work in spurts of organization...I have been 80% organized untl the twins but 3 years of being sic(preggo) and no sleep 18monts later..My organization has slipped away and and Mounting into monumental proportions..(to me)I am overwhelmed. I keep stumbling with flylady and know that each stumble set me up for today> TODAY right now I am making a WHOLE HEARTED commitment to myself, myfamily, myhusband, myfamily, friends, and the Mother Earth.... to NOT be a PERFECTIONIST and to take ONE step at a time.

I will Declutter,Reuse,Recycle,Stop buying needlessly,Reduce my foot print. I am integrated every tiny bit helps..one step at a time

I intend on having a harmonious,Warm,Magical,Romantic,Enriching,CLEAN to every corner.(not in one day or at one whole time) Beautiful HOME to Grow my little ones in warmth of Heart and Spirit. Doing this will give me TIME with them, ME, Hubby, Connection time with Friends Family...

I will have time to CREATE and My Heart will Sing since there's no trace of"guilt" for fear I a not doing something eles or not deserving this time.

I will make this fun for me by embellishing my FLY Baby Steps...so my GEMINI twins will play and pick up!

Here I go to Shine my sink I am jumping in!

For the Macro Mondays group theme "New Year's resolutions"...

I really should drink more water - Ronnie and Reggie would appreciate it.

In hospital a few years ago, suffering with kidney stones and septicaemia, I named my irksome kidneys the Evil Twins. I was told I could be prone to further stones if I didn't drink more fluids, but I still find it difficult to down the recommended amount!

2014 Photo A Day Challenge .....

2014 A Year In Pictures .....

The 365 Toy Project # 171

I spent the first day of the New Year climbing Enchanted Rock, located in Enchanted Rock State Park just north of Fredericksburg, Texas. It’s deep in the Texas Hill Country and has so many wonderful textures and climbing spots that you could spend a week up here and never get bored. It’s somehow hard to capture the true landscape in just one or two pictures…

Surprisingly, I didn’t really have an issue with this climb. The last time I climbed this I was dying the whole way and had to make multiple stops. I was also about 40 pounds lighter, but I was a smoker as well. It really showed me how much healthier I am (even though I gained weight after I smoked) being a non-smoker. For those out there who have set a 2012 New Year’s Resolution to quit smoking: go for it. If I did it, then you can do it, and it’ll be the best thing ever.

I have a lifetime dream to climb a mountain in Colorado, Longs Peak. I was happy that I was able to make it to the top of Enchanted Rock, but I have a long way to go if I’m going to climb a 14,000 foot mountain. As long as I have to go to get in shape… I know that I can. I know I can do it, and I won’t stop until I do!

I expect a lot of days like this in 2012, where I find myself surprised… pushing myself to do more and more… and succeeding.

Now let's move on to a Happy & Healthy New Year 2009 ! :)

what are your > New Year's Resolutions ???????????????????

02/02/11

I photographed this for the 'Our Daily Challenge' Group. The theme today (Feb 2, 2011) was "Quoted".

"A new year's resolution is something that goes in one Year and out the other"

Question 30: Help the Library write its New Year's Resolutions! "In 2013 we will_______"

i thought this one was good, since it went up only a few hours into the new year.

How are your New Year's Resolutions coming along? Mine...not so good.

Woody Guthrie's 33 (!) New Years Resolutions that he made in 1941 (for 1942) give us a view of an optimistic, serious, sensitive, funny man. Just dealing with the nine I chose to print here present a challenge but nearly 70 years on can't we all feel the resonance/relevance of the last one?

I've resolved to read more trashy books this year...starting with this double-header in January. The Jacqueline Susann is the much better of the two (no surprise). Angelique is not nearly as tawdry as the cover promises...so far the heroine has shot someone (exciting!), but mostly just blathers on about Quebec.

Any trashy recommendations?

This was just a quick capture whist on a walk, turned out to be the best of the day.

hey! I'm having a little contest! stop by my blog and find out the details!!!

Thank you to all who participated!!!
