On a warm and sunny afternoon, Stadler newbuilds 777009 & 777013 meet each other at Maghull North, Merseyrail's newest station (but not for long!) having opened in June 2018. The future of the network is seen in this shot, although this particular week the 777 fleet were plagued with software issues and seen 507/8s return to the Kirkby line with a 50/50 777/507/8 combination being provided on the Ormskirk Line.

777009 arrives into the station forming the late running 2O38 1531 Liverpool Central - Ormskirk service, with 777013 featuring the colourful Eurovision Train of Love wrap, forming 2G57 1549 Ormskirk - Liverpool Central on Tuesday 16th May 2023.

The weather went from raining to cloudy to sunny and back to raining so on and so forth. Typical lol

You can see how much the tide drops during the series of photos. In such a short amount of time, the time drops dramatically and at such a speed as it usually does on high springs.

Quite a sight over the last couple of days on New Quay Road, near the port of Poole.

They are building a small block of flats on the site of the Ferryman Pub, and have brought in these modular sections.

They were transported yesterday as a "wide load" and blocked the road for a while, until they manoeuvred into place to be lifted by this large crane.

This one has a different background to what you'd see today because the buildings in the background have been demolished to build the new shopping mall and the post office. 22 years later the new mall stands and as yet has never had every unit full and trading, even the post office has moved to the old Woolworths store across from the Arndale or Admiral centre.

20 years later the town centre is dead on it's legs, a last ditch attempt is being made to attract the visitors and traders that we once had by re-opening the road through the town centre to traffic. (hope it works)
