it's officially first individual photoshoot for tamoon umegu..she whispered to me that she's so nervous about posing naturally..:P
We spotted this very nervous stork one late afternoon from the road that borders the park. We spent a half hour observing her funny moves and continuous bouncing from one perch to another until it was almost dark and she finally settled down right there on top of that dead tree. Shot from the car with very low light
At the beginning of August I spent another afternoon/evening trying to photograph wild Red Foxes.
The weather was a mix of rain showers and blue sky.
This one was a young Fox who was very nervous and would only visit the field for short periods of time.
This Monarch was so jumpy and aware of my presence that all those "macros" I was able to shood from 10m distance...:-)
I took this just before he was about to walk down the aisle as my sister's ring bearer. I just love his nervous little grin here. He took his job very seriously!
I tried to emulate a tilt-shift lens using my kit lens. I'm on the fence about this one... maybe I'll try with a different subject that will hold still :)

It's 6:30 A.M and TODAY is the first day of my new job. (see previous pic for more details)
I'm a nervous wreck. I'm already on my second cup of coffee.
Yesterday I bought a few new tops, dress pants and skirts. I think this qualifies as "Business attire" but to be honest, I'm not even sure. I wont know for certain until I meet my new co-workers. I also bought a pair of plain black dress shoes and a brown Charter club purse.
Eric is awake too, He's cooking eggs. He gave me a kiss and called me his little "Business woman". He assured me that I would "knock them dead" today and that he had "absolute faith" in me.
I wish I felt as sure of myself.
I'm standing in front of my bedroom mirror trying to decide whether to wear the white button up top with the biege slacks or the black skirt... or maybe the black shirt with the black dress pants...or maybe...????
I hope I survive today. Maybe it will help to hum the theme song to "Mary Tyler Moore" I need to log off and finish getting ready.
