I can't remember the model of car, (possibly a 1966 Ford Fairlane TA) but another from the USA bristling with chrome for the attention of the photographer! This was shot on colour film, there was very little colour in the actual image, so a mono conversion was a good option!

The meter on an M5 is a spot meter and in some situations it really excels, but then at other times I find it more challenging.

Some test shots with an interesting old camera I've been repairing and cleaning up over recent weeks - I'll post a shot of the camera in due course with some more info about it!
Have a seat!
Another test shot at the rather sad and derelict Marton Railway Station on the main trunk line. I grew up in Marton and can remember this being such a busy place and in good order unlike today - sad really.

The Norwegian Forest cat is a breed of domestic cat originating in Northern Europe. This natural breed is adapted to a very cold climate, with a top coat of long, glossy, water-shedding hair and a woolly undercoat for insulation. The breed's ancestors may have been a landrace of short-haired cats brought to Norway about A.D. 1000 by the Vikings, who may also have brought with them long-haired cats, like those ancestral to the modern Siberian and Turkish Angora.

Historically I’ve never been good with words in a creative sense. Consequently I have a huge respect for those who are capable of painting a picture in your mind, of what is in their mind, via the words they write on a page. This is something I’ve never been good at, and subsequently when it comes to describing what certain scenes mean to me in words, I always feel I come up short.
In any case though, I can say that I find scenes like this harrowing, as I can’t help but feel a sense of sorrow and pitty for the tree, and a sense of trepidation for us as the onlookers. Trees form part of the lungs of our planet, and though this may or may not depict any direct result of our effect on the planet, I feel like it is a good reminder to myself to try and do what I can to minimise my personal effect on the world around me, and where possible leave it in a better state than it was found in.

This cat lived across the street from me. He would climb a tree to get on the small porch for my apartment. Then wait on me to come out and socialize. Sadly I did not have any treats or cat food for him, he didn't seem to mind.
