Nice negative shapes in the missing pains.

Not every photograph can be a masterpiece ~ but you can still have fun with those that aren't.

is it just me or can you not get yourself to throw away your negatives? I haven't worked in a darkroom or done anything with negatives for over 3 years but I still hold onto them.... haha. who knows when they'll come in handy... right?

I had to do some digging on the net to recall what exactly this set of pictures was from. If I have it correct, this is Komunity F K (Patrick Mata, Sherry Rubber and Jeffrey Sopko) performing on August 23, 1999 at the Sunset Junction - a street fair in Santa Monica.

Negative Approach @ Bash 13, Grumpys, Minneapolis - July 20th, 2013

Printing color negatives that produce a satisfying B&W print. Using split-grading technique.

I expose the negative twice onto the paper with different filter settings.

The time for both exposure is long for this one because I have to contend with the orange base of the color negatives.
