This is a photo of a plane in the air. It is showing negative space. It shows this by the plane being against the empty lighter coloured sky.
However, not everyone will be pleasant to interact with. (wow.joystiq.com/2012/04/18/when-players-cross-the-line-to...)
Here is an example of negative space. Having such a small focus on the person leaves all that space which is distracting, boring and depressing.
The guitar and hands of Paul from the GC5. This negative effect was done while printing in the darkroom, not on photoshop.

Heres the negative of a picture I took from my pinhole camera, I don't remember the exposure time or the pinhole size... It took me like two shots though to get it well enough exposed. This is the sidewalk in front of NUA

Stumbled across some old negatives from college. Unfortunately, most of my photos from this time in life were either lost of destroyed. I spent this particular summer in portugal taking courses at the University of Lisbon. During the trip, my old Canon Ftb Ql began to break down, hence the mostly severely overexposed and funky negatives. The meter went shortly thereafter and completely went kaput later that year. In any case, Im glad I found these negs and am able to give them a second life on flickr.
