I recently bought a job lot of glass negatives at auction and just spent a few hours photographing them on a lightbox with my dslr then 'developing' them in Photoshop.

The negatives I develop in monobath can be watched as positives on a black background.

They are quite contrasty, I don't know how the archival properties are.

Negative Space - Here we let the empty areas of our image convey the impact of the image.

Another found negative from the eBay auction. I'm pretty sure these were taken in Louisiana. This roll of film was awesome! The film was completely brittle and amber colored - I think is was black and white film that got discolored, but I scanned it in as color anyway because I seemed to get better detail.

I'm not sure what's going on in these photos. I'm guessing this was a movie premiere of some sort, but I'm not familiar with any of the people in the photos. A parade? Politicians and their wives? Random rich people? Anyway, some really cool stuff is going on in these pics, especially in the crowd.
