Seneca Improved View 5x7, Osaka Wide Field 120mm f/6.3, New Guy negative collodion (1 month old)
f/6.3, ~25 seconds
Took my fresh collodion positive exposure time and calculated a guesstimate for my one month old New Guy negative collodion. It has stayed surprisingly fast. I'm still getting used to negatives. Accidentally stopped the development of this one too soon (after 1 minute) thinking the shadows were starting to fog. They were actually still perfect. Next time I'll have to do a proper step test on glass.
The ceiling at Brisbane Airport - for the theme of negative space with my group Creatively Challenged
paper negatives 2 stops and 4 stops overexposed (or was it 1 and 2?) developed in weak developer and pulled early in the process in efforts to reduce contrast. Worked well, the tint comes from being pulled at different stages and before the paper could fully become black. Wet the paper first or you'll see a line or gradient from when it first hit the developer.

Todos sedientos borrachos danzando
yo soy solo un pequeño ruiseñor
la sed de los demás mas me seca la boca
es alli cuando mi curva traviesa
se desliza por tu prado de lunares

6 Second exposure of two sails of the Windmill in Stansted Mountfitchet at night. The night time shot gives an almost Negative feel
My kris kringle present for Christmas this year, a fully rubberised watch that slips on over your hand. Lucky my hand is not too big so it slips on with only a minor struggle.
Something different today, negative processing. Hope you all like it.
Digitised image from the Town Hall Photographer's Collection - GB127.M850
The Town Hall Photographer’s Collection is a large photographic collection held in Manchester City Council’s Central Library archives, ranging in date from 1956 to 2007.
The collection consists of tens of thousands of images, covering the varied areas of work of Manchester Corporation and latterly, Manchester City Council.
The photographs were taken by staff photographers, who were tasked to document the work of Corporation/Council departments and, in doing so, captured many aspects of Manchester life and history, including significant changes to the Manchester landscape.
The collection includes many different formats from glass negatives, to slides, prints, CDs and even a couple of cine films.
What is especially exciting is that the majority of these images have never before been available in a digital format and therefore have only ever been seen by a handful of people.
A team of dedicated Staff and Volunteers are currently working on the systematic digitisation of the negatives held within the collection.
This album represents the result of their work to date.

Ozren significantly affects the specific microclimate of Sokobanja, primarily because of the rose of winds - a specific circulation of air and high concentration of negative ions
My broken Kodak 3A Junior arrived and I took the lens off and taped it to the lens board of my broken Graflex to try it out. The "B" setting on the lens doesn't seem to function, so getting slow enough times for my paper negatives is guesswork.
My youngest son wants the rookie trading card for hockey player Jay Beagle and needed to earn two dollars. Thus I had my model for the day and went all out.
BTW, he wants to buy the Jay Beagle card because he's convinced his dog Travis will get a kick out of it.
Better late than never. I had this idea for a while, in tribute to the sculptor Bruno Catalano. If you haven't seen his work, google it. It is quite impressive. I wanted to get this shot done in time to submit it for the challenge, but life has been hectic lately.
