this is just me holding it up to a 60w incandescent; wait until the flatscreen. what? flatscreen? yea. yea, i said that.
wandering through the woods in northumberland, near chollerford, I came across the evidence of an awful crime against lawful technology. This poor arcade game crawled within feet of the safety of the woods , before being cut down and ransacked.
I shot this just off the path below the first look out on the walking trail from the National Park Entrance. You can access this just beyond Hastings St, Noosa.
I always take my sunnies off to put Samuel in his car seat, and 9 times out of 10 leave them on the roof of the car until I realising just before I drive off. It's amazing I haven't lost more pairs.
Using nearly the same algorithim as my first fractal image "Warp Field", I zoomed the iteration out, flipped it and modified the color gradient to produce this image.
Almost finished this project and Uni!
Just need to do one more (see sad white space) and complete the one with our Katy and Willz on.
I then have the challenge of Screen Printing these for the Degree show!
So many layers I don't want to count, oh dear.
I filled it with coffee when I got up in the morning, but forgot to drink it when I was at security. The guard let me drink it rather than going to the back of the line. I told him the Gin story from Stornoway.
An afternoon bike ride became a surprise hike which linked up to vernal falls which became a journey to the top of the mist trail. We were drenched in water and rainbows, getting back by dusk. Incomparably beautiful.
Original source photo has all of water covered by grass protruding through but for painting will use artistic license! Would create too ragged and aggressive a feel with the water heavily punctuated by sharp grasses. Here want a sense of tranquility in foreground as there is in the background so for final stretch will leave foreground water largely grass-free to let the calm water reflect the sky light.
Nearly 400 students, staff, alumni, sponsors and volunteers have contributed to another great and successful RMIT X Run.
We have altogether shared a joyful Saturday morning with lots of fun, challenges and rewards. Thank you all for being a proud part of RMIT X Run 2017. Congratulations & See you again next year!
