This evening, I decided to try and get a start on painting a fair number of the John Simm sculpts. I got all the paints out, and there's now a small mountain of pinkish base-coated Master heads littering my kitchen table. More on that tomorrow.
Since I had the paints out, I decided to touch up some other stuff between coats. Elena's facial skin tones were bothering me, as she was painted originally to match another body.
She's had her facial tones fixed with some transparent glazes, with some added freckles and blush.
Our Lady of Right Hooks? Early on in the first 'Uncharted' game, Elena punches Drake in the face... she also gets zero love from PlayStation on the merchandise front, so I have to make my own.

He's neaaaaarly done now. Slightly worried he's looking a bit too young, but hopefully I can fix that with the paint job. A little jawline and hair tweaking to go, but hoping to get onto painting tomorrow night!
Probably best go to bed now...
I realised I didn't have a full body shot of Homebrew!Nate (showing his nice shoes, which apparently once belonged to a Hot Toys Wolverine). I worry his head's too small, and his trousers a bit Simon Cowell high-waisted, but I still like him.
Still no holster though.

Had a shoot scheduled today working outdoors but because of inclement weather that actually turned out just to be a mild drizzle for the time being my plans were put on hold & saved for another day.
Seeing how these past 3 days have been spent editing photos from the wedding and the party i shot later on that night I figure I might as well kick back and relax a little.
Picked up the controller for my PS3 and decided to play "Uncharted 2". Haven't played it since, what, march? Almost forgot how intense the game really was...
But ion't know, looking back on it maybe I was a little bit TOO into it? what do you think? did I overdo it? Just a little?
*shrugs*
I recently lost my beloved Kindle Paperwhite on the London Underground, and was all prepared to have to shell out about £100 to get a new one. However, as luck would have it, some lovely person handed it in, so it felt like I had £100 of free money.
So naturally, I spent it on a doll... ahem, action figure. The Boy was slightly horrified (though I can secretly tell he think it's quite cool).
We played the 'Uncharted' games back when they were on PS3, and bought a PS4 just so we could play the remastered Nathan Drake collection. :p
I want to make Elena and Sully next...
Nolan North, who knows a thing or two about Nathan Drake, in the middle, and the super-awesome Matthew Michael Brown on the right!
