411: Now that the fronts are good, I need to get the pieces to the overall thickness. So, I'll be removing excess material from the back. 1st, as seen here, I'm squaring up the long edges in my milling machine.

Right Now, you aren't going to believe what I just got doing when I read your post. I was over at the church that hubby and I are caretakers at, taking pics of motorcycles, lined up in a row. The guy loved his bike and to show respect a lot of friends rode their bikes. that is truly what I was doing.
Reached an interesting checkpoint again.
What lies ahead I do not know, I am approaching it with an interesting mixture of happiness and uncertainty combined with a tinge of reluctantness. This image actually depicts how I feel pretty well.

Lake Wanaka is located in the Otago region of New Zealand, at an altitude of 300 metres. Covering an area of 192 km2 (74 sq mi), it is New Zealand's fourth largest lake, and estimated to be more than 300 m (980 ft) deep. Its name is Māori, a corruption of Oanaka ('The place of Anaka', a local tribal chief).
Wanaka is a town on the lake with which it shares its name.
Wanaka lies in a u-shaped valley formed by glacial erosion during the last ice age, more than 10,000 years ago. It is fed by the Matukituki- and Makarora Rivers, and is the source of the Clutha River. Nearby Lake Hāwea lies in a parallel valley carved by a neighbouring glacier eight kilometres to the east. At their closest point (a rocky ridge called The Neck), the lakes are only 1,000 metres apart.
